I would give this three stars because the older lady attendant is very nice and always guarantees my laundry will done by 5pm the day I drop it off and I always drop off by 9am. I would give this less stars because the younger girl attendant is rude, verging on mean.(If she can tear herself away from the phone call she is having on her earbuds). Whenever I drop my laundry off in the morning and she is working, I have to wait until the next day… and for some reason it is always the day that I need my laundry back that night to pack for a trip. I ask myself; what is the difference between picking it up at 9pm that night or at 8a the next morning? However the laundry is always clean and folded to perfection. The price is pretty normal for drop-off in my experience. I have never had any issues with the actual laundry service, just the customer service. I keep going back because it’s convenient to my apartment and usually I have a pleasant experience(see first statement).

This place is the WORST! My clothes are not clean ATALL! Additionally, my dry cleaning was late! I’ve never heard of a place that did not deliver dry cleaning by the ticketed date. I will never trust them with my work uniform again. I’ve gone twice to give them a fair chance. The location is good, especially since I enjoy hanging out in Bakeway while I wait for my clothes, but the laundry services are so poor that I can not continue to bring my laundry here. Do not go here.

Dry cleaning and drop off is no good. For machine wash they’re pretty good. If you go in the evenings, you might even run into the nice guy! For services such as cleaning or drop off some of the staff can be disrespectful Here’s a laundry list of what’s wrong with the service: 1) They are rough with their dry cleaning, torn seams to my silk blouses, which they tried to hide by flipping the shirt over. Then when I called them out on it; they refused to give me a refund. 2) When the machine malfunctions they refuse to refund my money(like another poster on here) 3) Dry cleaning comes back smelling musky and often times still wrinkled and stained where I had indicated to be cleaned. 4) Lose socks and underwear every time I use their drop off service

This laundry mat is okay. They keep the place fairly clean which I love and the machine are pretty strong, but pricer than average. The dry cleaning is a huge disappointment and the staff can be friendlier. Hats why it’s okay.

Recently moved to Astoria, Ive been dropping off my laundry here for 2 months and it kept coming backjust not very clean at all. Everything from socks, work clothes and gym clothes smelled and still had dirt/stains. It seems like they don’t use any soap or very very little for large loads. So no more. Not coming back here again… going to a different place even if its a bit farther

Went to this laundromat once and hated the service!!! Don’t go here! I started my load of laundry, then forgot to include two socks and stopped the load in progress. Then I had to put in another $ 2.25, even though the worker saw the whole thing!!! She told me I was supposed to read this small red sticker on his machine not to stop the machine, but there was no sign, placard or large print poster anywhere not to stop the machine. Also, the manager isn’t even there on Sundays, so he couldn’t help me and she couldn’t call him either. Sunday is one of the biggest days of laundry every week! I recommend Tenchodo Laundry instead!

Oh boy. I’ve lived in 4 different apartments in Astoria and used 5 or 6 laundromats(I always drop it off) and this is by far the worst. Every place before has had the sweetest ladies working who went above and beyond what we asked. This place — I’ve never lost so many socks. Only been going a few months and I need to buy more socks. Who knows what else they’ve lost. Other places wrap the clean pile in plastic before putting it in the bag for sanitary sake Our last place we were dedicated to knew our names and exactly how we like everything washed and how fiancée likes his shirts hung dry. They did everything with a smile. This place– I ask nicely to hang the shirts and they literally yelled at me today. Last time they said sure but just didn’t do it. Today they yelled. Some don’t even speak English. The lady had to ask someone to translate and it was basic laundry talk. I will say they are fast. And it’s on the way home from the train. But I’d rather go out of my way to the place under the train at 31ave. We went once and they hung up anything nicer than pajamas without us asking. And smiled while doing it. Bye To this one.

Living right around the corner this place is so convenient. Especially with updated machines and friendly staff. I’m a regular here and I enjoy the atmosphere here!

If I could give a business negative stars, this would be it. They’ve stained and even lost my laundry on numerous occasions, and when I complained they just shrugged, didn’t even apologize! Shrugged! But it’s convenient to where I live, so I kept going back. But it doesn’t stop there. The ladies(ha! Ladies) are rude and disrespectful, which is probably not the best way to deal with any customers. But the management should be even more concerned that this is their treatment of regular customers. I’ve been giving them our household laundry worth 20 – 30 bucks a week, and they recognize me and they’re still rude! And rude and disrespectful in broken English is even more aggravating, but maybe that’s just me, haha. Don’t go here. Clearly, I went way too many times. Walk half a block more and go to the one on Crescent, between 33rd and 34th, where they greet you with a smile and appreciate your business. They have more machines too!

This blue color Laundromat is very close to my new apartment. The machines look shiny new and I can’t help to notice the retro looking vinyl floor. The floor looks quite ugly but also quite interesting. Definitely catchy. Anyway, my girl pal told me it was now run by new management. They have installed complete brand new«state of the art efficient green» machines and renovated the whole place. I therefore did my laundries there plus having my working cloths dry-cleaned. Unfortunately, both of the services did not impress me at all. Let me start with my washing. The price was more expensive than my old Laundromat by far. Would have been okay if my expectation was met. I was shocked to see how much lesser the water level was actually distributed and the washing cycle was really a lot shorter. So that was their way of green and efficient? I am sorry but I don’t buy it. It make no sense to me that I am paying more for less water and shorter wash. And I suppose to believe that my cloths would be cleaner? The only«efficiency» I see is for the owner’s wallet. He is charging customer for more fee and saving money for distributing less water and using less electricity. And don’t get me start with the part about playing magical chair with trying to get a dryer. I can also go on about the chairs, folding table but meh, forget it. Finally, the dry-cleaning turned out to be mediocre. 2 of my blouses did not iron properly and they still have some wrinkles. One of my pants food stain was completely missed. I ended up having to take them to another store to dry-clean again. The store was clean and machines were shiny new looking but those were the only good things I could acknowledge.

I like the new management(this used to be Rhodes Laundromat). They did a wonderful job w/the makeover. They painted the walls, changed the ceiling, etc. With their newly installed high efficiency machines, I now use less detergent. Also, their new dryers are terrific. Before I would spend $ 1.50 for 1 dryer. Now I only spend $.75 to do the job. New look + new machines + same adorable staff + $ savings = one happy customer :)
