I really like Paris Baguette. They have a really good selection of tasty cakes and pastries. Their chocolate buttercream cake is yummy and a surefire crowd pleaser for any birthday. They also have a good selection of breads, sandwiches and coffee. Similar to a lot of the other chain style bakeries/coffee joints in New York but their quality is definitely a notch above. Can’t wait to try all their yummy looking pastries!

The pudding was great! The Mango pudding that is! We would love to go back there again just to grab more. My girlfriend and I saw the Cheesecake and we will be back to grab it the next time we are nearby. The place feels nice and warm. Friendly staffs and welcoming smiles. Great place overall.

Visiting from Canada, there’s none of the Korean chain bakeries there so when I saw Paris Baguette, I was super excited. I am a huge fan of Paris Baguette, because they are everywhere in Korea, plus they have inexpensive pastries. I had time to spare before dinner so I wanted to buy some desserts to eat afterwards. In Korean bakeries, you basically grab a tray, a pair of tongs, and start picking out whatever you like! They had an enormous selection of slices of cakes, pastries, and juices. They had a blueberry chiffon cake slice and it was so cute that I couldn’t pass it up. It was delicious! One reason why I like Korean desserts is because they aren’t sweet and taste very simple. Korean desserts don’t have frosting, but rather have an unsweetened whip cream, which I like. The slice was huge and I believe I got it for less than $ 5. There was also Mango Pudding! This is one of my favourite desserts so I was so excited. It was in a mini glass jar, packaging +1. When I tried it, I was super disappointed because it wasn’t mango pudding. It was like crème caramel and I felt that the syrup was too sweet for me.

I am passionate about Paris Baguette. Their sandwiches make me happy. I dig the meticulously cut, salmon avocado on white bread, the stacked, spicy crab, and the triangular egg-salad. Their pastries are a European-Asian hybrid of delicious hedonism. I recommend their cheese-filled sticky-rice donuts. If I’m on the go, I get a black sesame latte, which reminds me of childhood and China. Sometimes it’s not properly mixed, and I find a mass of black, sticky paste at the bottom of my cup. But the young, attractive staff makes up for it.

I had tiramisu pastry and cannelé. We stopped after the first bite. Not quite worth the calories. Decent iced coffee.

I must live under a rock or something for not knowing this Paris Baguette has existed for quite sometime until yesterday. This has got to be one of the best PB I have ever visited, even considering the one in flushing. Yes it isn’t that big, but they have just about everything and are constantly stocking up items. My complaint with the one on 34th is that they don’t have the salads, or not at least when I go there. However, I noticed that they have a huge selection of salads and sandwiches. You have to try the tropical salad, it’s seriously the bomb dot com! Also they have curry croquettes here! The mini cheesecake is pretty delicious too; moist, airy, but not too sweet. I tried an azuki latte today, and it was actually good. A little bit too sweet for everyday and I couldn’t really taste the azuki but it was still ok! I have to point out that the service here is great. The staff is kind and efficient and also the place is kept clean and organized. I have never seen any of the items on display out of place or even a speck of dust here. The only thing I am disappointed by is that I didn’t discover this place sooner!

Small pastry shop near Columbus Circle peddling soft bread, desserts, and interesting baked goods. Grab a tray and a pair of tongs to start the over-indulging. Between two people: their version of a cronut, a cupcake, banana/blueberry french toast, a kiwi smoothie, and a hot chocolate($ 15 altogether). What makes their pastries different is that each one is filled with something. I found each of the pastries a little on the hard side(except for the cronut) and a bit too sweet. The kiwi smoothie has an intense fruit flavor, with again, a lot of sugar… same for the hot chocolate. This place certainly delivers for the sweet tooth, but if you’re coming here then balance out the meal better. I suggest a bitter coffee to go with any one of the baked items. Limited seating in the back, so might have to take to go.

This is my go to spot for coffee and breakfast when I’m in the city. All the goodies are fresh and beautifully displayed. I love the idea that you can pick out the pastries from the window shelf yourself. Place is small with limited seating but bigger than Dunkin Donuts which is on the same block. Their hash-brown pasties are amazing! I can’t wait until the next morning to have it. See you soon!

Stopped in for a quick pastry snack. Settled on two chocolate bombolonis and two chocolate pastries. Both were really good! We also picked up a cheesecake for takeout… not a fan of this at all. Cheesecake was not like a traditional cheesecake. It had a very cakey texture and the taste just wasn’t that good to me. The guy at the register wasn’t would you would call a «people» person. Very blunt.

Mark my words within a few years this store will be all over the United States. When I ate here, I got the same feeling I had when I ate at the first Pret a Manger and Potbelly. It’s a wonderful concept. Better than both of those two concepts, the food at Paris Baguette is so fresh and delicious I’ve been back 8 times. It seems like any NY café from the outside, but it’s more than that. It’s fresh and reasonably healthy. On top of the delicious taste, I guarantee you will find some of the best prices you will for quality food in NYC. the service is ok — nothing wow about it and the coffee needs improvement(maybe they can consider stumptown, counter culture, intelligentsia?), but overall a great spot. Overall — what are you waiting for?

This is a great bakery not super freshly Made but not super market mass produced somewhere in between! The lemon Cronut is good along with the almond croissant which is a decent size! The staff are very attentive and there isn’t a large queue, they are also quick at making hot drinks. The price isn’t too bad but don’t expect the same level as a French bakery the produce is normally average here with the odd exception head to a more local bakery if you can.

Visiting New York for the weekend, we went to this bakery for some pastries around 6:00 pm. I guess you have to go early morning to get the best fresh pastry’s. I was interested in trying the Cronut I had heard so much about. Pastries were jus ok… nothing amazing

Solid pastries. I always get the sweet potato pastry. Last time is also got a chocolate croissant which was delicious. If I get a beverage, I’ll get the americano iced. It’s not bad.

I got a chicken salad sandwich for $ 7 for a quick meal. It was packaged but very good. The croissant sandwiches were gone by dinner time. For pastries, grab a tray and tongs and pick away! The pastries I bought(one had a raspberry and cream cheese filling, my weakness!) was good and fresh but nothing memorable. Pastry prices are reasonable and the selection of sandwiches and pastries is good considering the small space. Paying is confusing though because there are two open registers and one person. You may have to assert yourself if someone tries to pay ahead of you. Just tap your inner New Yorker. lol. Coffee and other drinks are available and kettle chips. There are also a few counter seats. It’s bright and cool(temperature wise) in there. A franchised French place that I would go to again.

So I haven’t fully explored the options but what I did love: Baumkuchen, the tree cake. It’s layers of buttery cake goodness that goes well with a strong dark coffee(I didn’t try theirs though). I’ve also fallen in love with the walnut cheese bread bites which my whole office clamors for. They aren’t overly sweet or overstuffed with cream cheese, just a lovely breakfast bread. I’ve had mine with Bonne Maman strawberry jam and its out of this world! Things I plan on trying: Canele, a small custard bite, and the royal pudding — maybe just because of it’s cute ass jar! Baumkuchen: $ 4.95/small 14.95/bigger than small but not huge at all. Walnut Cream Cheese Bread: 6/$ 4.95 and they sell larger ones for I think $ 2.50 As for customer service, I’m usually in there with my wireless Beats headphones on so the chances of me hearing the cashier’s reply to my hurried«hello» are zilch. Eh, they’re not as nice as say, Pret, but it’s all gravy baby — or in this case, Baumkuchen!

Very impersonal, rushed service I got from here on a relatively slow Sunday. No smile. I know it’s the city but at least humor me with a dry«have a nice day». (overheard about 10 times) Customer– Hi! How are you? Cashier-…what can I get you? They just kind of shout the drinks out and when you ask them to clarify they repeat what they said instead of acknowledging your existence. Not vegan friendly which is expected from a pastry shop but even their quinoa salad had cubes of cheddar in it. Why? That doesn’t even sound appealing. I got a banana and a latte with almond milk. My latte tasted sweet and overly milky. Is flavored almond milk to blame? I can’t comment on the pastries. They look nice. Overall vibe is meh. Even if they had more vegan options I would not return because of the service.
