One Hour Framing

While I’m overall happy with the results, I’m not sure if I will come back here for my framing needs.
I’ve had two projects done here at two separate occasions. The first one was a smaller 6″ by 10″ lithograph to be done with a slim black frame with no mat (I supplied paper for the background). The price came out to be $ 28 which I THINK is better than average? The finished product was overall good but there was slight crack in the frames joining at one corner. Hardly anything to fuss over but not perfect work.
The second time, I came with a print that I wanted to really do something special with and the owner walked through several options of mat/​/​frame combinations with me until we decided on a green mat/​brown frame. As he was writing up the receipt ($ 85), I pointed out a different color scheme he picked out and said — no, I want this one instead. The owner confirmed verbally, orange mat/​bronze frame? And we were set. The turnaround took 4 business days (Thought it was called 1 hour framiing? D’oh) and when I came to pick it up, anticipating the orange mat/​bronze frame lo and behold he had done with the green mat/​brown frame. I was a little taken aback but didn’t say anything because it did look nice. However, ever time I look at it I wonder how it would have been had he gone with what I asked for. ’

I got a poster framed in less than an hour! Very good quality. The frame was beautiful and great customer service. Coming back for sure.

Ordered a poster for a birthday present. I called about 5 other framing places around the city and they all said it would take more than a week and the cost was very high. One hour framing said it would be ready in a day and the cost was more than reasonable. The framing came out perfect and I was very satisfied. Guy told me they have been open for 35 years! Honest business like this it’s not a surprise. Highly recommend.

I had two 8.5×11 prints and a frame I bought online, that I needed matted and dry mounted. This is a gift for my wife on our wedding anniversary.
Lee’s Art shop was going to charge me $ 75,
Art & Frame of NY would charge $ 48.
Waseem charged $ 35 with a a 24-​hour turnaround.
Wife loves the framed prints.
I will definitely be coming back here.

I recently had a great experience here framing a poster. I was given a poster of Manhattan as a gift over Christmas and the gift-​giver was coming to stay with me for the weekend so I needed to hang this on the wall ASAP. I took the poster to One Hour Framing and was quoted a price half of what I had been quoted at a framer downtown ($ 60 vs. $ 120). The employee who helped me, maybe Waseem?, was SO friendly and they were able to have my poster framed and ready to go within 24 hours. Great service and prices. I will certainly be returning.

Horrible job. Decided on a dark frame with gold dry brush on Thursday during lunch for a tiger painting because I figured the gold will nicely accentuate the yellow tiger stripes. When I picked it up on Friday, he showed me the finished product with a red/​brown frame. This is to be a gift on Sunday. The best they could do was either offer $ 20 off the price or pick it up on Tuesday. Never using this place again. Now it looks like I stole it from some Chinese government office. I hope I don’t see the full price charge on my card.

I found Waseem to be a RUDE disgusting individual. No manners or professionalism whatsoever. Besides that the framing job took over two weeks to complete. I had to call him several times and at no point was a quote ever provided, prior to the work being started. It was delivered along with an invoice of over $ 1,000.00. I contacted Waseem to ask for why there was a delivery charge of $ 25.00 and why I was being charged such high fees, and his response was «this is the price in the world» I highly doubt that. Then he proceeded to ask me irrelevant questions and rudely hung up on me. Don’t waste your time unless you wanna be a victim of PRICE GOUGING. They charge as per your occupation. RIPOFF!

Really, really bad customer service. Though the work was decent, it was so unpleasant speaking with them that I would certainly have gone somewhere else. Furthermore, I was told to give them six days to do a very simple photo framing job and that they would call me as soon as it was ready on said date. I was specifically told not to come until they called. Five days after the due date, I called to check in and was rudely told «it’s ready when it says it will be ready on the receipt». Why didn’t I get a call? «Maybe because your voicemail was full».
Um, no. I’m not that popular. That doesn’t happen. For the money and time and headache, there are better places to take your business.

Highly recommend their service. We had just moved to the area and one of our large photo pieces glass had broke. One Hour Framing came right over to our apartment and picked up the piece. Within a day they had it reframed /​new glass and dropped it right back off. Seamless service, kinda employees, speedy work and good prices! Highly recommend and will use again.

Around the holidays I took a photo of my fiancé and I to get framed. I started at a frame store near Union Square, but their turnaround time was a couple of weeks and there was no way it would get done on time. One Hour Framing managed to get the job done in less than a week and was quite affordable as well.
I recently also took an engagement photo here to be matted for our guest book and plan on returning to get it framed after the wedding.

I needed to have a poster framed for my husband last minute for the holidays. Not only was everyone super friendly and accommodating, the work was done quickly and to my specifications. With the crazy rush during the holiday season, this is a serious feat!
Would definitely go back here. Completely reasonable pricing too, even with the rush.

I’ve come here on numerous occasions for framing on my art pieces and I’ve had a pleasant experience each time. They finish the work given to them in a timely manner and I’ve never been disappointed. The prices are pretty reasonable and although the owner seems a bit rough at times, that’s not going to stop me from coming here again. They accomplish what I need and that’s good enough for me.

I use this place for my work often. I am always in a time crunch and sometimes need to ask for odd requests. Waseem is very knowledgable, always knows exactly what it is I’m talking about and is very to the point in helping me make it work, which is always appreciated due to my time constraints.
I always get my framed items on time, if not before I need them and am always impressed with the work they do. I work in SoHo but go out of my way to come up here for the superior quality and quick turnaround.

I wanted a fairly straight forward matting/​framing and tried several places around town for same day service. All the other quoted me about $ 100 for rush service but I ended up getting it for $ 30 here in about an hour! Very happy with the results.

Take your business elsewhere — horrible customer service and unethical practices.

Highly Recommend!!! I brought my wedding invitation in to be framed and told him the style my wife wanted and he took care of the rest. Excellent results. Very knowledgeable. Will definitely use again.

Gave them an embroidery that had to be framed within 2.5 days and they did it within the rushed time limit. The framing turned out looking good. I didn’t expect the price for it to be that expensive though.

Very nice folks here at this store. Prices certainly seem fair, at least for some drymounting that we needed done. Brought our pieces in yesterday afternoon, and all three were ready by 10am this morning. They are now our official office framing company. Thanks Waseem (owner).

I work for a company that uses One Hour Framing on an account. They do not send us invoices in a timely fashion and when we call them for invoices, they are very rude to us. One of our employees had been told «F**K YOU!» by Waseem on several occasions. STAY AWAY FROM THIS VENDOR. We are no longer using them as a vendor. And we urge anyone else who hasn’t used them to stay away, or else, use at YOUR OWN RISK!
