Love, love, love this place! Used twice to get prints framed as a gift and both have turned out above and beyond what I was imagining. The owner has a great eye for this and always knows what matte and frame to recommend. Excellent pricing as well. I will definitely use this place again in the near future!

Nowhere else in New York City will you find a frame store owner more decent and honest who can always be trusted to deliver expert, high quality work. Shadin has framed upwards of 15 art works for my apartment. He is a superb framer, an excellent artist in his own right, and a beautiful human being.

I have been going to Galleria on Third for years. Shadin is very thorough and professional with his work. I recently had a tough job for him on a valuable painting that he framed perfectly! He truly cares about both the art and the customer. That is why he has been in business for so long. I highly recommend him for any piece of art that needs framing. He has also stretched a canvas for me years ago and it is still perfect.

Shadin & Shima are wonderful! They were attentive and extremely helpful. They have such pride in their work and it really shows. The pieces they create are so unique and special. I personally had a horrible experience here. I went in to get a price quote on a canvas stretching + framing and the man at the counter (owner?) was extremely rude and was obviously inflating his prices. He made us feel like we were idiots because we didn’t know what a «real» price in NYC was for framing. Anyways — if you are looking for an actual human being who will give you a great customer experience and very reasonable prices, just go a block up to Décor Art Gallery!

In an area where «art galleries» tend to be a dime a dozen, Galleria’s selection of paintings is a pleasant change from the crap I’ve seen elsewhere.
I brought in two paintings purchased at a PA art show for framing, and Shadin (and I believe John) were more than helpful in walking me through the different options. I wanted something simple and contemporary anyway, which just so happened to be less expensive than the more elaborate frames. If you have larger paintings, you’ll get more bang for your buck, as the majority of the cost you’ll pay is for the labor/​mitre cuts, not necessarily for the materials.

Great, professional, creative service! I had been holding on to 5 pieces of art that I have collected over the past few years of travel and the pricing of framing pieces that didn’t cost me any more than $ 100 was just daunting. I finally decided to just do it and had been walking by Galleria on Third for years, always impressed by the frames in their window. The quality of work that D and his team does is simply outstanding, and his prices are very reasonable for the incredible quality of product. Even the simplest frames were of high wood quality, and I would have paid the same for a cheap metal version at other places I considered. Furthermore, his creative eye to help you find the best mat, frame, glass is a true skill… he saw my art in a way that even I wasn’t looking at it, and for that I am so grateful. Very prompt service as well.

I have used this gallery on several occasions for framing art work and they have consistently done a very outstanding professional job. The owner is very friendly and accommodating and helped us to choose frames that complimented our artwork in a beautiful manner. They also carry a variety of beautiful paintings, many of which I’d like to buy for our apartment if we had more space. Overall superior customer service, and I believe it is important to support the small businesses in the neighborhood.

Best framers ever.
I have been bringing everything from inexpensive posters to photos to diplomas to nicer artwork to Galleria on Third for framing for the past few years and have never been disappointed. The owner is really friendly and knowledgeable, and the finished product is consistently beautiful and of great quality. I have recommended this place to a number of friends and they were really happy with the results, as well. Great selection also. I won’t go anywhere else… and I’m very particular about these things!
