everytime I pass by they close at a different time. the other night at 9PM. the other night at 11PM. I’m mad because there ain’t no other pizza place around this hood, like? strange tingz. pizza is ok.

In no shape or form can you justify paying $ 16 for an 8 slice pie, especially if your pizza tastes below average and you serve it with an attitude. Go elsewhere.

The HBIC(older woman, maybe Olga?) was super rude and seemed miserable. It got pretty busy and I can tell she was trying to turn people away by asking how many slices they wanted and then stating in a very rude tone that it would be x amount of minutes. I was told 8 minutes. I didn’t mind waiting but once I sat down with my slices I realized they took the pie out a little too soon. Way too doughy. This place is on par with 2 bros pizza or any other dollar slice place.

This was good pizza. Not the best pizza, but certainly not regrettable pizza. Really good crust. I ended up ordering an extra slice. Cash only. We dined in because we didn’t feel like walking a pizza home and staff was nice and cordial to us as we sat at the counter. The place is a little beat up, but it’s just a little walk-in pizza joint. If you’re nearby, I’d say stop by and see how you like it.

Best place in the area for a solid slice of pizza. There aren’t too many topping options(pepperoni, sausage, mushroom), but the slices are big and loaded with cheese. Expect a little bit of a wait(and line) if you’re stopping by to grab a slice during peak hours.

2 $ pizza in the neighborhood that is better than Vittorios and Harlem Bros. It is cash only(I’m like 90% sure). It is an interesting place. The inside sort of reminds me of a small diner since there are vinyl round chairs to sit at the countertop. Anyways this whole thing is quite weird. You go in and tell them what you want. You don’t pay until they give you your food. I guess that is a nice thing to do, so that they don’t forget you. The cheese pizza is very standard, greasy, and delicious. You can even order from the window outside!

It’s pretty much the only place near me where you can get a slice. I’m not trying to walk more than 2 blocks to get a 2 dollar slice of pizza. Not happening. So there’s that. It’s pretty decent, I’ve enjoyed it every time I’ve had it. But I can be a bit of a pizza snob, so I wouldn’t feel comfortable describing it as anything more that average. They don’t have red crushed pepper flake most of the time(which is a big no no in my book) and they close pretty early most of the time(10, if I’m not mistaken) and also are randomly closed during the day so they’re definitely missing out on some late night munchies or people stumbling off the 1 after coming from downtown who desperately need a greasy slice. Oh well.

I love Olga’s they have great pizza, and they also have affordable prices. If there is a complaint they are too small, I wouldn’t go in at lunch time and expect fast service because all of the schools children are there and they all want pizza, because the process are so reasonable. They also cater to organizations in the area for pizza parties. I would highly recommend Olga’s…

Don’t let the sign fool you. This place is on par with the 1 dollar slice places. The crust was puffy and dense. The crust seemed more like a slice you would get in a Midwestern town and not NYC. When I came here I was extremely hungry, so I can’t imagine how bad it would be if it wasn’t that hungry. I give it 2 stars for being edible but it not much more than that.

I came here on the recommendation from a bus driver, who said«this is the best pizza in New York.» I understand where he was coming from. There’s a lot of competition for the«best» in NYC, and it doesn’t quite meet my bar for that, but it was good. In fact, there was something oddly comforting in eating a slice here. As I was getting to the crust, I realized what that was. This pizza is the prototypical«NY Style» pizza that shops around the country try to copy. An all-around solid slice.

They have their days. The slices are good most of the time but, the hygiene turns me off. I cant tell you how many times I saw the employees here handle money and pizza with the same hand. One time one of the employees was on a cigarette break, he threw out his cigarette and went right back to finessing the dough, he did no wash his hands I walked right out. Also, they dont serve people with plates just that thin sheet. I would come here more if it was a little cleaner and if they served pizza with a simple paper plate.

My first time eating here was in 2005 when it was called Paul’s Pizza. It was my first visit to NYC. Truly authentic, simple, quality, $ 2 slices. what else could ask you for? Although I live in Nashville now, I recommend this place to anyone I hear that is planning a trip to NYC. I’m guessing not many tourists cruise uptown all the way to 137 stop for pie… but it’s that damn good. Last time I was in NY I stayed in Park Slope Brooklyn. I got a craving for the food here — So what did I do? I grabbed my iPod, blasted some Nas illmatic and enjoyed the 1 train ride uptown all the way to this spot for this grub… the hour commute was worth it, it is that type quality of pie we’re talking about here.

You can’t go wrong with this local establishment that has been in business for years and will most likely be here for years to come. At $ 2 a slice you cant go wrong, whether you are getting a late night bite or getting a whole pie for pizza night with the family.

The crust was a highlight, a perfect balance of soft chewy dough and crispy crunchy crust. And not too oily. Plus it’s been family run for 40 years! They were very friendly to our school group(we’re doing a special project, eating at every pizza place on Broadway between 181st& Battery Place). Everyone agreed this was at the top of our list of pizzerias from 138th on up.

Good and fast slices. Very cheap especially when you consider the quality. I always see families in here having a good time. The owners /employees pay attention and work to provide their guests good service, however they’re not the most social.

Olga’s is the best. A slice is $ 2, and I have only seen one person be able to eat more than 2 slices. The owners are nice, not super talkative– but if you go in as much as I do they start to recognize you. Olga’s is a big reason I don’t want to move out of the neighborhood.

Super-cute mini pizza parlor in west Harlem. When I visited, the whole familia was working from the grandmother all the way down to a seven-year-old girl. The pizza is just passable and there are literally only three options for toppings(pepperoni, sausage, or rubbery canned mushrooms). At $ 2 a slice(cheese), though, this is a great deal for Harlem. Two slices and a small Pepsi will set you back $ 5. A great place to take a little one after a school day.

Pros: (+) Fast service (+) They sell ice cream! (+) They keep everything clean Cons: (-) None ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Cash only! This small hole in the wall place is family owned and even though this old place may not look like much, they keep the place clean. The pizza is good and they make it however way you like it. Crispy? No problem. They sell ice cream which is perfect during those hot summer months — and a perfect harmony after eating pizza. The bar stools look like they lived a rough life.

It’s a hole in the wall, mom and pop kind of pizza joint. Slices are $ 2. A small pie here is the size of a large pizza at Dominos. But, the pizza here is quite good. It’s more like hand toss crust so not the super thin crispy crust. I like it a lot. I’ve ordered take out twice and they usually have it ready in 15 – 20 minutes. Cash only place. Unfortunately, it doesn’t open very late, maybe until 9pm most nights. It’s on my same block and it’s always good when I go.

The pizza is sooo good but the employees attitudes are very hot & cold. The quality of your service will depend on whether or not they are having a good day, I guess. Easy to get a quick slice, but I would advise not going during lunch or dinner time bc this place is very small so it gets crowded and you might get skipped in line if you’re not aggressive enough lol
