To be a third party communicator was unavoidable and frustrating which leads to be yelled, screamed and sourly reprimanded to no end that I needed to go for a walk to achieve inner solstice, an inner calm. Frozen yogurt was a nice cool down at $.56 per oz. which unconsciously I piled it on at 13.05 oz. which totals an utter $ 8.00. The flavors available are abundant and are the toppings of candy and cereal. Self-serve kiosk stations when patrons begin at the rear by attaining a cup then selecting a yogurt flavor base, moving forward a cereal or nut, and finally candy, chocolate or frozen fruit toppings leading to checkout. If you don’t know what to do just follow others by formation from start to end. At checkout the cup gets weighed on a scale to determine the price. Service is friendly. Their yogurt certainly got me «Off The Wall» after a unpleasant earlier experience.

The toppings are so unhealthy. Every candy bar I love is present. Andes mint chocolate, heath bars, loads of cereals. I just said screw the fruit and mochi and loaded up on candy. Euro tart yogurt is excellent and they have sorbet as well. Beware, the orange sorbet leaves your lips very orangey yellow. Friendly service and ample seating. It was worth betraying 16 Handles for especially when I paid $ 3.50 for a big cup of yogurt during their 8:00 — 9:00pm happy hour.

We may have been slightly intoxicated when we arrived but I suspect we were not the only ones… We managed to collect a bunch of things in our cups and get to the cash register, where a high strung gal was hyperventilating and accusing the«black man» who’d just left of robbing her. It was a bit surreal since her coworker who’d been standing next to her just kindof stared at her with a tilted head. I suggested she go get a glass of water. The coworker agreed and sent her to the back, then she rolled her eyes and rang me up. My +1 and I were trying our best to unpack what had just happened with bent heads over our«yogurt» but the ice milk, chemical-y taste distracted us from discussing the hysterical bigoted gal. So I’m imagining if you’re going to come here, sober, and without the show we witnessed(if you’re lucky) you’d notice how gross this stuff is even quicker.

I LOVEFROZENYOGURT and this place makes me so happy. The ambiance was«off the wall». It was clean, bright and inviting. When you walk in there are round tables and clear red plastic chairs along the right and sofa benches on the left. As you make your way into the store the cashier is on the right. At the register there are baked goods and cute stuff like little bottles of jam! There is a wall with about 7 cereal selections then a wall with about 8 froyo choices. On the opposite side is a table stacked high with cups. Next to that table was a graffiti of «Today is a good day» in colorful letters. The employee there was so nice and asked us if we wanted to sample flavors. I asked her what her favorite flavor was and she recommended the swirl of strawberry lemonade and valencia orange. It tasted SOGOOD and was SOREFRESHING. She also recommended to top that with fruit loops. But I’m greedy when it comes to frozen yogurt so I fill my cup with every flavor. By the end I didn’t even know what flavor was which but it just tasted so darn good.

I wish I wasn’t a fan. My waist-line hates me for it! I love their banana froyo. I add peanut butter sauce, fresh bananas, and some Reeses Pieces. Like most froyo places, it is serve yourself. You put in as little or as much as you want, load up the toppings, and place it on a scale to find out what you owe. I am more generous with the toppings than I tend to be with the yogurt, so mine ends up being around $ 5 for the cup. As long as they keep the banana flavor, I’ll be a fan!

Love it!!! Peanut butter blast way better than 16handles. Price is like half as cheap as pinkberry. And their toppings are endless! And staff sweet genuinely nice. Recommend it!!!

I LIKED this place. Okay, so maybe it’s kind of blah to you New Yorkers but I’m not a New Yorker and I thought the place was fun. The people that were working were so cheerful and ready to help us with our requests. We came here twice actually and enjoyed waiting out the rain on one occasion and simply talking about wedding things on the other occasion. Fun fun!!!

They have great flavors here and indeed are a good contender to the nearby 16 Handles. Their toppings seem average, though in their defense if they had more distinct ones I may have missed it since toppings aren’t my thing. Maybe it was the time of day I was there, but there wasn’t much(see: any) staff around when I entered. Thankfully I was feeling greedy enough to be patient but not bad enough to get something from the Doughnut Plant(though I was headed there to at least look in the window — LOL). Each subsequent time I’ve walked by I’ve been surprised that there haven’t been more people inside. For such a good location they have to step up their marketing.

This place is a great contender to the 16 Handles beast that is taking over this city, but they’re not quite at that level yet. They have just as many handles, but the flavors aren’t as good. But the flavors that are good are really really good. The Peanut Butter Blast here is one of the best peanut butter flavors of all the frozen yogurt places I’ve tried. The Cake Batter here is also awesome. Both of these flavors are so creamy they definitely must be less healthy than they say they are. They also need to get onto one of those electronic loyalty systems instead f the punch cards that they’re using. That is so 2010. This is also in a great location that was in need of a good yogurt spot. If you are in this area and want some good dessert without feeling too fat and succumbing to Doughnut Plant a few doors down, you should definitely come here for a refreshing, satisfying alternative. I’ll definitely keep coming back here, at least until the inevitable opening of a 16 Handles a few blocks away(there actually is one already on 18th, but that’s a little too far if you are on 23rd and feeling super lazy and need your yogurt immediately).
