Great crowd; friendly folks. The owner is top notch; as a first timer to what is an established crowd of regulars I felt at home.

This is a great place for a cigar… just sit down and relax and enjoy… they have recently moved from their previous location to this one… this is very nice… the owner Jeff will take care of you and will treat you like a friend always… it is not fancy but the people are real.

I have been coming to this place for about a year. The house cigars are great, the shop friendly and the staff helpful. The new location at 362 West 36th street offers a lounge that is warm and inviting. The crowd of regulars and visitors are diverse and it is a perfect place to come relax have a smoke and have a good conversation. Not to be missed!

Soon to move to a spacious new location: 362 West 36th St. Elegantly appointed smoking lounge, with couch, easy chairs, tables, large-screen TV and private lockers.

I have never watched cigars being rolled before. Very different process from what I had expected. Several different styles available. My favorite are the maduro chisels. $ 8 each. Big and fresh. Then you can smoke while watching Jeopardy with the regulars. One of a kind place. He is moving around the corner next month.

Had a few hours to kill what better way than a cigar. The cigar shop is the equivalent to diners drive in and dives. Not much in seating but real nice hand rolled dominican cigars. Owner is a peach of a guy if you got some time nice cigars great pricing for NY lol. I recommend this place

Relaxed and casual Old NYC vibe, decent prices, comfortable chairs. Worth a stop if you’re in the neighborhood and in the mood for a cigar.

My first time going there was today. I was a little bit apprehensive about purchasing something since I was short on cash and my last«house» cigar experience wasn’t amazing(out $ 16). I actually threw the last one away. The shop has an old school NYC vibe to it which I like. Not your typical stuffy cigar lounge characters which I also liked about this place. Just some neighborhood fellows enjoying a smoke. I chose a short med brown dominican blend for $ 6. The price was definitely right and the smoke was decent although not overly flavorful until the very end. IMO this is when it shined. It did have a wonderful med/dark wrapper on it. More often than not I need to try a cigar twice before I make up my mind. This was a good enough experience to make me want to come back.

Amazing place with outstanding cigars. Only negative is that it’s really small but the staff are really nice. Definitely recommend it.

I love this place. Cigars are very reasonably priced. Great camaraderie with an eclectic mix of interesting patrons. Bring your own beer or wine and relax on one of the comfortable chairs with a fine Dominican cigar. Store is actually open later than posted hours – often until 10p during weekdays and until 8p on Sat/Sun.

First of all, I’m not a cigar person. I smoke cigars like once a year on trips with the guys. I walked into this shop already scared by the«fine hand rolled cigars» sign expecting insane prices. I was pleasantly surprised that, not only are the cigars reasonably priced, the service was GREAT. 6 stars if I could give them. I told the guy my price range, he bagged me up 4 cigars, cut them for me, we exchanged some jokes. It was a very pleasant atmosphere to say the least. NYC can be a haven for shitty customer service. THis was the complete opposite. I would recommend to anyone who lives in the area

This place is a hole in the wall but a great hole in the wall, with nicely priced cigars of all varieties. There’s free WiFi and a handful of new comfy chairs. It’s kind of old school like an old barbershop with characters from all walks of life. Whether you get yours to-go or for take away, it’s worth checking out this no frills place. Average prices $ 7-$ 8

I stumble upon this place purely by accident. The minute I found it I was happy… that was short lived! I walk in, take a look around, and a guy behind the counter calls me over. He introduces himself to me, we talk, share a few laughs, all is good! He asks me what my preference is in cigars and he suggest the Robusto Maduro. Says its great, I’ll be back again and wishing I had bought a bundle! Well, truth be told the cigar was horrible! And so was John for pawning off a cigar he probably can’t sell to the guys who hang out there! What a waste of time and money, I’ll never go back!
