Norman S Turkowitz, DMD

Let’s put it this way, I enjoy my visits at dr. Turkowitz’s office. Him and his staff are just great! No pain, no waiting time, unbelievable service and a funny dentist who seems like he’s actually having fun fixing your smile. If I could give 10* here I would definitely do it.

I had to write a review for this place because my experience was unbelievable. The office and staff are so friendly and welcoming. Dr. Turkowitz is the most helpful man I have ever met which in it self is an accomplishment!

The best dentist I’ve had in my half-​century or so of life. He’s smart, caring, capable, loves his patients, is as painless as they come and keeps me laughing so hard I can’t think about what he’s working on. His staff is friendly, everyone is prompt and they really do try to work with you on visit times. A rave recommend.

As far as I’m concerned, Dr. Turkowitz is THE dentist!
The Friday of Memorial Day weekend, my mouth and face were in horrible pain! And since it was Friday evening and now the weekend AND Memorial Day weekend, I’d have to wait til Tuesday until anyone could see me! Dr. Turkowitz would’ve seen me that very weekend had I told him! Have you ever heard or seen a dentist feel horrible for the pain a patient is in? He did!
I had to have a root canal… and Dr. Turkowitz is the only dentist I’d choose. Since a number of visits were required, Dr. Turkowitz and staff accomodated my schedule, fitting me in early or between patients. They even gave me any medication I needed rather than having to run to the pharmacy!
A new, beautiful, high tech office, Dr. Turkowitz and his friendly staff make going to the dentist a pleasant experience! I’ve never seen a staff work so well together – there’s lots of laughter in this office, patients laughing as well! While you sit in the chair, interesting, artistic photography appears on a screen above you – the same screen on which you’ll see your x-​rays immediately after they’re taken! He even has a number of iTunes lists for your listening pleasure!
A lab is also in the building so any crowns etc. will be done quickly! The office is located at 57 W 57^th so it’s easy to remember and accessible by the N/​R & F/​V lines.
