I just had my first extraction done by Dr Sheinkopf. It was the most quick and painless experience ever. Let’s just say the actually extraction took less than a minute. He is definitely skilled. The best thing is that both he and his assistant were really funny and entertaining the entire time so that made me feel so much better during the process. They were prompt, professional and completely on top of things, which I really appreciated. During the entire process, he verbally walked me through as we go, and it was nice to understand what was going on at the moment. I HIGHly recommend him to anyone. Trust me, he’s very good.

My wisdom tooth extraction was virtually painless. I had been worried since Im hopeless with pain and hate going to dentists of any kind (he’s an oral surgeon). Also because during the first visit I had to watch a video about wisdom teeth extraction which I thought was kind of odd. Dr. Sheinkopf did sit with me to answer any questions after the video, but that’s the first time any procedure had been explained in that form.
In any case, on the day of my extraction, he was very patient with my nervousness, did not rush my questions and kept making sure I was doing fine throughout the procedure. he even followed up with me on the same evening of the surgery to check on me. I highly recommend him.

I was referred to Dr. Sheinkopf by my orthodontist (Dr. Sweder) and I’m so glad I went to him. I had to have 4 extractions and he did a great job. Surprisingly, I was not swollen or in pain once the medication wore off. And Dr. Sheinkopf makes it a point to call you post-​surgery (on the same day, later in the evening) to check up on you. I was amazed. He is a very caring oral surgeon. I wish I knew about him when I had my wisdom teeth taken out.
The only thing I did not like about his office was that it can get pretty busy. His office staff doesn’t seem to notify you when your appointment is running real late (like for an hour or almost two). But it might’ve been that one time. I would defintely not hold it against the doctor b/​c he is very experienced and nice.
