Great job! I got patches sewn onto a jacket, a button seen back onto pants and a top altered to for me better. All 3 procedures were only $ 19.00 which is a steal and the work was impeccable and quick with pick up ready the next day. They were nice and efficient. Never got dry cleaning done but the alterations are a 5 star in my book.

Price to dry clean and repair a long wool cloak was great.. but they promised me a pick up date of Friday… days away. I arrive on Friday and they hadn’t even touched it yet. They clearly scrambled to rush it and I waited around. The stains were all still there, so I asked them to take their time and try again. Wasn’t thrilled to come back, but I did. It was better, though they couldn’t completely get the stains out.

So proud of my guy. He looked up the Unilocal reviews before choosing a place to shorten the sleeves on two new sweater-type blazers! He’s learning lol. I went with him when he brought the jackets in, & the staff was efficient & professional as they carefully measured the length, checked twice, & made sure the sleeves were even. They assured next-day service, which was fantastic. But the $ 35 flat fee for anything«sleeves?» OUCH. I could understand the cost if he asked for them to be taken in, or if they were fancy Italian suits, or something like that. But for something that was just the equivalent of hemming, for $ 70 plus tax? Ouch. It just hurts. The service was excellent, the work was perfect, & I have no complaints about the turnaround time. But with the prices, let’s just hope that he doesn’t need anything else tailored for a while!

They usually do a great job with the turnaround time on dry cleaning. However, they did loose 2 shirts and insisted that I picked them up. Humm. Didn’t stress since they were only work shirts. The tailoring sometimes is hit or miss. A simple hem and taper shouldn’t be too hard but 2 out of 2 times they dropped the ball on this one. Giving them one more chance on the hemming… update 10÷3÷12: took my suit jacket to be cleaned and to sew the loose lining at the bottom of my jacket. Once again– they didn’t complete the job. Lining is still the same. Part of me wants to take it back to be fixed. my second thought is to have someone else do it. I’ve given them my business and the benefit of the doubt but this is the last time. They can keep the $ 5 for NOT sewing the loose lining. I’m taking my business elsewhere. Sorry Nordic– You have some work to do.

My favorite neighborhood cleaner shop! I was impressed the first time I dropped my winter jacket over for cleaning, the jacket came back nicely and I found a small note stapled on the side indicating they they’ve made some minor adjustments. I realized that they have placed two missing buttons and fixed all the rest.(this is the kind of love I usually get from my mom) — they switched around all the buttons, placed two new buttons on the pockets area as they are slightly different from the existing black buttons, so that all the front buttons are the same. It’s a small detail but it’s time consuming work. It’s a piece of love that I am wearing now — they are humble and very caring people!!! — And I just brought over two pieces of fabric asking whether they can make a carrying case for my folding bicycle, they quoted a very descent price, the Korean tailor and Kim(i believe he is the store owner) measured everything so carefully, though they were discussing the matter in Korean, I need not to worry, I know they always do things the right way. — I just saw the half made bag, it’s beautiful! and they are going to make a few more adjustment to make it perfect. I can’t wait to see the final product which carries their perfectionism and love. — I wish them all the best !! The girl at cashier is always kind and very efficient!

«Leave off the last ‘S’ for Sleeves» They did a great job with my shirts! Only issue was they«french cuffed» shirts of mine that were not«french cuffs». So I ended up with awkward sleeve ends and a plethora of plastic clips. BUT to their defense this has happened at MANY a dry cleaner. Staff was so sweet and accommodating. Tailor on premises which I found impressive. Whilst I was there he went to the owner to ask an opinion on a clients desire of hem which I found comforting. Prices were also in line with the area… compared to when I lived in Hells Kitchen and it was $ 10 a shirt. Nordic also has this computer with a speaker that talks to you when you arrive or check out. Completely bizarre but hilarious.

This appears to be a first class, full service dry cleaner with laundry also available. Tailoring and repairs, leather, fur and rug cleaning are also offered. I received quick turnaround on my fluff and fold, and got my shirts on hangers back in a day. Also received a free laundry bag from Mr. Kim, the owner. Prices are reasonable and in line with other neighborhood cleaners. This owner also operates another cleaner under the same name at Columbus Avenue.
