Noon & Night

The original location of Noon & Night was on Thames St and was a lot smaller (very limited seating). When it moved to the current location, it was better lighting and expanded seating (more tables). In my opinion, it is one of the better Chinese food eateries located around Ground Zero /​Battery Park area. The food is good to very good here. When I worked downtown, I usually call in theorder for myself and my colleagues. By the time I get there, it’s usually ready for me to pick up. The service is good to very good, very accommodating. Noon & Night also has seating (tables for parties of 2 or 4) if you choose to stay and it seems to be clean place to eat. It is a single line, they have ready-​made dishes (e.g.: General Tso’s Chicken) and «ordering from the menu» (e.g. Beef Chow Fun, Eggplant & Beef w/​Garlic Sauce over white rice, Shrimp w/​Lobster Sause over white rice). The examples are actually some of my favorites. Some of my colleagues favorites were Singapore Mei Fun or Shrimp Mei Fun. I like the spring rolls that are made here. The prices are reasonable, I usually average about $ 6.00 for food and beverage. I actually miss this place because I now work in midtown.
