Swanky pilates studio in Soho, need I say more? Loved the décor here. Didn’t have a snobbish feel although it felt like I was probably working out next to someone that’s like buddies with Karl Lagerfeld. Overall I had a really great workout and was even sore the next day. I usually don’t get that sore from pilates so this was good! The location is very convenient and right around the corner from the Canal street station on the Q.

Have been to both locations using classpass but this studio is my favorite. so light and airy and love the bleachers and white accents. i took abs/arms/ass with Jennifer Wolfe and was really impressed with the dynamic movements. i wish there were a bit more adjustments but that’s it. i love that the classes are small and the machines are in great condition. Front desk is great too at both locations. very pleasant and helpful.

I came here for the first time to check out their«Stretch» class because I have not really encountered those classes before and never foam roll enough. Though it is far from where I live and work, I thought it was worth the trek to visit the SoHo studio of New York Pilates. The place smells nice — they light Mrs. Meyers soy candles so the studio smells so good. There were 10 reformers in the room I was in. The instructor was nice, and made some adjustments as she saw necessary. I would come back! No lockers, but rather bleachers that kind of operate like ottomans — you lift up the seats and can store your belongings inside. There are 2 bathrooms with sliding doors, and 2 changing rooms with curtains. I saw a large canteen with water with small cups available — I would recommend bringing your own just in case they run out of water(just as it happened during my class). I’ll be back to take the class again!

I felt like such a chic soho New Yorker taking a class here. I have a couple of Pilates classes under my belt so I signed up for Emma’s Reformer II. Lots of subway delays so I arrived about 5 minutes late, but the receptionist didn’t make a big deal of it at all. The studio is light-filled absolutely gorgeous, with the wood furnishings and cute decorations. Even the changing stalls and the bathrooms are delightfully decorated. I don’t think I saw showers. Class was fantastic. Emma was attentive to everyone in the class and gladly gave adjustments. I left feeling energized and like I got a great workout for my arms and core. I’ll be back soon!

Best instructors: Jen, Gio, and Britni. Go to their classes, take Abs/Arms/Ass or Core Cult for a good, creative, fun, sore-for-days workout.

I am writing a review for the new location in Soho(great space, very clean and relaxing). I have taken pilates and yoga throughout the city for several years now. I’ve attended Arianna’s class twice(core cult and reformer III) and I was very impressed with how attentive she was to each student. She made very small adjustments which really helped my practice during the class and after. I look forward to my next class.

Loved the core cult class. Hard but also really fun! Brittany was a great instructor. The class sizes are perfect because you can get individualized attention but not feel like it’s all on you.

I attended a Reformer II class at New York Pilates in Soho this past weekend — and it was incredible! The instructor, Arianna, was so knowledgable and attentive. The space is gorgeous and bright — cool and welcoming. I can not recommend this place enough to get your Pilates on! I will definitely be back!
