This is the most unfriendly, dismissive, and rudest newsstand I’ve ever seen during a lifetime of living in Manhattan.
Writing a review because — knowing full well what a troll this guy is from past experiences — I had an unpleasant lapse in judgment to stop here today, as it’s around the corner from our home and figured, oh, well. .. Bad Move!
The only reason he’s still in business is because he’s the sole newsstand in this area of Carnegie Hill. Most small business owners are at least professional, if not pleasant to their customers. Never this guy! No reason to throw a customer’s purchase and change at them, never make eye contact. If he hates his customers, then he should get a different job. Ridiculous!
