New York Deli & Grocery 71

Damn I had to review this place. I stayed at the Lex which was next door. This place provided me with essential snacks and beer at the end of the day at low prices. After 16 hours of excursion each day and after paying exorbitant beer prices at restaurants… As an aside one restaurant was charging 9 dollars for warm Morretti (dont you worry I will be reviewing them shortly) .The 71 NY Deli was an oasis in a desert or lighthouse in a storm perhaps. I bought a tea there one night and the fellow behind the counter recognized me as a regular and gave me 25 cents off. «boss says you get discount now» I didn’t have the heart to tell him I was from out of town. I was actually going to give him a couple bucks and tell him to keep the change. The Modelo Especial here is ice cold.
