The single worst experience as a customer I have ever had was ordering flowers from New York Best Florist. They lied on multiple occasions, and charged $ 110 to do in half a week what any other florist would do for $ 50 – 60 in one day. I ordered $ 50 of flowers to be delivered the same day(a Friday). Since I placed my order late in the afternoon the same day I wanted them delivered I said that I would pay a rush, as I was really grateful that they could deliver them on that date. Then, I decided that it would be okay if they were delivered on Sunday morning(but really needed them delivered by that date). They didn’t deliver them on Sunday(and ignored my multiple phone calls to check on this), so I emailed and said I would like to cancel the order. Then, I spoke to them on Monday and they said they already ordered the flowers from their supplier and would deliver them by 5:00pm that day. I reluctantly agreed, but said, «well I will only agree to this if you at least remove the ‘rush’ fee to have it delivered» since the delivery was not rushed, or even on time, but very late. They said yes. Finally, at 9:00pm on Monday the flowers were delivered(the order was wrong — they delivered the wrong arrangement). I called back later that week to see if the rush fee was refunded, and they said they couldn’t refund any of the charge. I would not wish interacting with this establishment on my worst enemy. FYI — this is the very first time I have left a Unilocal review. In more than 10 years of being a being a customer and using businesses as an independent adult, I have never had an interaction which left me frustrated enough to compel me to write a review. But now that I’m on here, I will start leaving positive reviews as well. If anything NY Best Florist has made me appreciate when businesses actually treat their customers with respect and function competently.

The delivered product was good. The flowers were fresh, resembled the online bouquet I selected, and were in general, very nice. The issue with this company is their logistics, it seems like they’re all over the place. My delivery was late and I too phoned them a few times to get an update as to when I could expect delivery to be made. I selected the shop because their address was 5 blocks from the delivery location, hoping someone would just grab the bouquet and walk it over. They need a better system and/or more staff — plus someone to man the phones with a more pleasant demeanor.

I ordered two dozens roses and all went very well. I ordered it from Berlin, Germany. The guy went on phone at 6 his time. Pretty awesome. First I thought they haden’t delivered in time so I looked on Unilocal and thought: OMG. Only negative entries here. But I overlooked a mail where the guy asked me about my adress(always the same with creditcards from Germany). Even I didn’t responded they delivered. Maybe the managed it with the credit card company. The flowers were brought to my girlfriend in an office. So all went out very well. I cannot confirm the negative entries here. Good flower service what I experienced! :-)

You WOULDNOTBELIEVE what they send us for 72 $, it was supposed to be this premium. we got a thrown together mess with yellow roses, and four closes lillies. DONOT waste your money, we called back and they offered to give us 20 $ off. I could have gotten a better bouquet from the bodega on the corner. I am looking into how I can cancel payment on my credit card. ITISTHATBAD.

Absolutely terrible. Ordered ‘surprise’ flowers for my wedding anniversary to be delivered to my wife’s work. Not only did they not show up until 5:30(even though I had been calling throughout the day) they called my wife repeatedly asking her to stay late(or provide a back up address) and complained that her office was too far away. Pretty much blew it on all accounts.

I would give this place negative stars if I could. I can’t even speak for the quality of the flowers because I still haven’t received them even though my boyfriend ordered them last week to be sure they would arrive timely on Valentine’s Day. When it was 5 pm and I still didn’t have flowers, he called them and they said they would call me. At 6 pm, no one had called so I called to make sure there wasn’t a problem with my office messenger center. The guy on the phone was talking to at least two other people the entire time he was on the phone with me, he had no idea where my order was, he asked if I wanted it delivered today(??? it IS Valentine’s Day, so yes) and then he made me repeat my information multiple times. Then he gives me to another person who asks if she can take my order(again, ???) I explain that I don’t want to place an order, I just want my order and she is very confused. Then she asks if she should send flowers to my apt, so I explain that no, I am at work and I want them delivered to work as originally requested. She then asks if I want a dozen red roses, to which I replied no, I want the order that my boyfriend ordered for me. This caused more confusion. After 20 min on the phone, I still have no idea where my flowers are or if I will receive them today. Based on the cusomter service alone, I would never recommend this place. I understand that florists are busy on Valentine’s Day, but if you can’t handle the orders, don’t take them. Not to mention that doesn’t excuse the ridiculous customer service…
