On separate occasions, hubby and I visited this shop. We both got the same treatment … Which was less than welcoming and the staff was almost disdainful of our questions. Good thing there is another very nice shop about a block away with welcoming and helpful staff.

These guys are crooks. They have poor service and their prices are ridiculous. I saw an $ 11 Chardonnay (price marked) he rang me up for over $ 16. How does that happen? Don’t go here go to the place by whole foods on Columbus at 95^th. They rule.

I’ve had a similar experience to one of the reviews here. I bought a few bottles that seemed to magically increase in price at checkout. I called them out on it and then they printed up a receipt with the inflated prices (that weren’t price marked).

Decent selection, friendly staff, but you won’t leave here feeling like you got a good deal. My fiancé and I found a decent selection of California wines, but every single bottle appears to be priced at the higher end of suggested retail (thank you smartphone for confirming this on the fly!).
3 stars because of the selection, but better value is what this place needs for a 4 or 5.
