I love the salads here, but found a GIANTMETALSCREW in it today. Seriously, how does that even happen!!!

I love their Vegetarian Taco Salad but I don’t like their service. The employee at the cash register didn’t know how to take a simple order: No cucumbers for my salad. They still put the cucumbers on it and when I order the yogurt dressing they gave me honey mustard. The owners should do something about this.

My fav spot to get a good nutritious healthy snack or meal! Highly recommended! Usually get chicken guac salad, and the best hummus I’ve tried you can find there.

I end up going here regularly because it’s by my work, they have really good healthy food for fairly cheap and on top of that they always have great deals going on. Plus a rewards program! However the service is spotty. They take too long to make your food a lot for a «fast casual» place. I’ve waited more than 20 min for a salad on multiple occasions. If they would fix that I would absolutely love this place. I do still think it’s pretty good.

I ordered online– first time customer. Order arrived incorrect and I tried to call and speak with someone and the service was AWFUL. Employees barely spoke English and I had to tell my situation 4 times before someone mildly understood. DONOTORDERFROMHERE.

I was looking for an affordable salad or lighter fare lunch that was better in quality than the local deli and had greater options than the multiple salad bar types. A coworker recommended Natureworks that happened to be only a block away and I’ve been lunching there for a year now. Small but always very clean and often playing classic jazz. Look for the sign or you’ll walk right by the glass front. The food is always super fresh. The team is polite, helpful and willing to recommend new things for you to try. If I go before noon to beat the line, I’m in and out with my order in 5 minutes. They have monthly specials that often include their healthy shakes. Try the soups, carrot muffins and baked falafel. They won’t dissapoint.

this spot is a great alternative to the big chain lunch spots. after eating an unhealthy amount of chipotle, potbelly, and fried everything i’m so thankful that this place opened up shop! the pros: — conveniently located a minute away from work — they offer a vast amount of grilled & non fried options — they have shakes for both pre & post workouts — the lady at the front is super sweet, welcoming & nice!

Stopped for breakfast on way to work wanting something healthy but filling. Got the egg white w/turkey bacon on an English muffin. Too much egg and turkey bacon was not crisp at all. It was kind of floppy and gross. I had to remove about half the egg and cover in hot sauce(that was also just Meh) to eat it. For $ 6.15 I expected more. Maybe lunch and the rest of the menu is a different story but I will not be coming back for breakfast.

–Reasonably priced, solid option for a Midtown West work lunch. –Free shake with lunch special, woo. –Food is on the healthy side and there’s often a lot of it. Can’t really think of anything to dislike but at the same time it’s not exactly 5 stars for me.

Disclaimer: people who take a delivery order and are unable to execute the order accurately but gladly take payment for the order is a major pet peeve of mine. I ordered oatmeal on seamless and requested that sugar be delivered on the side(can’t eat flavorless oatmeal). Needless to say I got the oatmeal with out the sugar. What annoys me most about it is it’s seamless! The directions are in text and can be reviewed over and over if you forget what was asked and yet they still can’t get it right. Oh yea, and the oatmeal also looked like slop.

I LOVE the other two locations of Natureworks but damn you Seamless for making me order from the wrong one! I meant to get my breakfast from the 31st Street location like I always do, but it sent me to order from the 37th Street one. Whatever, Natureworks is Natureworks… right? WRONG. I ordered my usual scrambled eggs with cheese and some veggies, a side salad, steamed broccoli, and hot sauce on the side. My eggs came with home fries, no salad, and the hot sauce tasted wayyyyyyyy off. Kind of nasty in my opinion. I called because I wanted them to send me the side salad which went missing and was replaced by carbs. First, they couldn’t find my order, then they said they’ll send me a side anyway. 45 minutes later, no salad in sight, I called again and the guy on the phone said«none of my guys here spoke to you.» I must be going crazy, did I not just hit redial on my phone to contact them? After going through the whole process of them, yet again, not finding my order number in their system, I demanded they get a salad to me in 20 minutes or less. All this frustration for LETTUCE? Yes. Sticking to 31st Street from now on and triple-checking my Seamless order locations.

Nothing special. With so many restaurants within walking vicinity, why not make yourself stand out. I had the chicken and guacamole salad… Chicken was good; soft but tasteless. Guacamole was almost nonexistent. Salad dressing was good but because it’s so thick, there is almost no way to get it on all parts of your salad. Half of the time, you’re eating dressing, while the other half you’re eating just greens. Asked for rice with my salad… He says no problem. Look at my bill and he charged me for a water($ 1 extra) so that he can give me rice. Bill also shows«add rice» but has no fee. Then he tells me that the dollar extra was for the rice. I’m fine with the extra price, but maybe tell me ahead of time? Work around the corner and not interested in going back. Find a better place… Trust me, there are tons of other choices.

Today, I logged onto seamless and clicked«deals» to see which restaurants were offering discounts. As per usual, it was the same list of sushi joints serving questionable meat and deli’s with C ratings from health inspectors. Why do I even waste my time hunting for deals? God, I’m such a Jew. Then I saw it. Natureworks. Nature works? I live in New York City, bro… you think I f*cking care about nature? Well, I don’t. So, shut up. I like beer, wings and women… and THAT’S IT. At that point, I was ALREADY invested so, I figured I’d check out the Natureworks menu… just because. Kinda like when a Taylor Swift song comes on. Once it’s 30 seconds in, it’s just silly to turn it off so, you keep listening… you know? It’s not like you actually enjoy the music or whatever… LOL, that be funny… ANYWAY, I checked the menu out and it seemed OK I guess. A couple cool things, but no wings or hot chicks. I was getting bored, but I figured I’d check Unilocal just to get a few laughs and write off Natureworks for good. It was there I came across an interesting review for one of their dishes called«Open Sesame.» Sure it seemed cool, but really«Open Sesame?» You a magician bro? Sure, the name was weird, but Open Sesame was a cool dish that contained grilled chicken with tomatoes, onions and cucumbers baked with tahini and soy sauce over spinach and brown rice(or pasta). Woah. Bitches like brown rice, right? So, I went back to the menu and found the hulk: Six egg whites, steak burger, onions, peppers and tomato sauce covered in chili soup. Bitches like the hulk, right? In all seriousness, I ordered the hulk, the delivery came in 15, the food was delicious and I could eat these protein plates that are quite healthy, but taste delicious probably every day for the rest of my life.

I order here a few times a week for lunch. Their delivery service is prompt, which is great if you’re hungry. While most midtown restaurants say a 60 – 75 minute wait, Natureworks delivers in 15 – 30 minutes. Can’t beat that. First, their guacamole is delicious, and everything comes with pita bread. Now for the average… their oatmeal with bananas is nothing special, but satisfies my craving when I want breakfast for lunch. I’ve also tried the taco salad, which tastes like a regular salad, and barely has any meat. It comes with crushed up chips on top which I carefully picked off. I’ve also ordered the chicken & sweet potatoes meal. The chicken is typically quite bland, and the portion size was way too small. However, it came with 4 – 5 full sized sweet potatoes.(which might be good if you want leftovers). I have also tried several of their smoothies, and was not impressed. They are very watery and don’t have a lot of flavor. The strawberry smoothie is bland and barely tasted like strawberries. The chocolate shake(chocolate, bananas, protein powder) tastes like water. I had high hopes for the coffee-chocolate shake and even paid extra for it to include a banana. It was very disappointing. Order here if you’re starving or in a hurry, but there are plenty of other healthy places in midtown.

Great food! BAM! Awesome people and fast delivery. Apparently they just opened up, and look in tired of the pizza and the so many other foods you and I are tired from as well. No I don’t want spaghetti or pizza or sushi. I think I just found my go to place when I’m craving something healthy and yummy. Too bad they don’t deliver at 4am. I just got the tahini white eggs with sweet potatoes. I’m melting. #wipeout On a scale of 1 to a BAMTHEY get KAPOWWWWW K. O

I love natureworks and order lunch from the 31st street location nearly every weekday. However this abomination of an establishment is nothing but a cancer to the reputable name. To call this pack of mentally challenged degenerates a sub par staff would be the highest compliment iv ever given anyone. Words cant describe how incompetent the idiots at this specific location are. I could go on telling stories about all the times they have screwed up but they don’t even deserve the extra effort. DON’T GO/ORDER FROMHERE! note to management: RESTAFF, FIRETHEIDIOTGIRLTHATANSWERS75% of the time and still cant work the POS.

Natureworks has three locations in midtown, with each place serving healthy and delicious options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I had their signature Open Sesame under the High Energy Protein Plates. The small plate was enough to fill me up for the rest of the day! Each bowl comes with a pita bread, which unfortunately tasted a bit stale. On to the actual meal itself — Open Sesame includes cubes of grilled chicken breast with tomatoes, onions, and cucumbers, and baked with creamy tahini and soy sauce over spinach and a choice between brown rice or pasta. I love the slightly burnt/caramelized edges of the tahini sauce, which tasted so creamy! It has the similar flavor profile as hummus, but a bit richer. I wished there had been more tomatoes. The sweetness that grilled onion adds to the dish is a nice addition. I don’t know how I feel about warm cucumbers though — they are the best when fresh and crispy! I also liked the brown rice underneath, which were seasoned perfectly. The chicken cubes were cooked just right as well. I have also tried the baked falafel and sesame tofu — both were really salty so they should probably cut down on the salt ;)

A fantastic Midtown place where the line is always short. It’s a hidden gem! Most guests order take out, so the tables stay open. I really enjoy the chicken bacon guacamole pita which comes with lots of onions and lettuce and tomatoes. Very fresh and delicious. I’ve heard great comments about the omelets but haven’t tried them myself yet

I walk past this place every morning on the way to work… not sure if it used to be Go Go Ramen which sadly closed a few months ago. I walked in today wanting a filling(but healthy) breakfast. The girl at the register was really nice and recommended turkey bacon & egg whites on a whole wheat English muffin(breakfast menu, $ 4.99). Waited about 10 minutes for my food, but I think they need to bake the egg whites and had a bunch of delivery orders going out. I suggest calling ahead and picking up if you’re in a rush to get to work. The coffee sucked, but whoa the sandwich was so good! I was surprised. Packed to the max with egg whites and about 3 thin slices of turkey bacon. Much healthier alternative to the usual sausage, egg and cheese(I call this the heart attack sandwich). I like that Natureworks doesn’t cook with preservatives, unhealthy fats, butter, etc… just straight up good food that I would whip up at home if I weren’t so lazy. It’s not a big place — about 4 – 5 tables, but not cramped. Many photos on the wall boasting fitness celebrities. They have a stamp card — earn 10 stamps and get a free meal. I’ll be back again for breakfast and lunch!
