Nails On 49

Every time I come here, something goes wrong. They either don’t understand what you want or they charge for silly things. The girls are always talking amongst themselves. Book appointments and they are swamped when you show up. One woman who was working on me answered questions while I was getting a massage!!! WTF! Only pro to this place is that they are right around the corner from where I live and they are open much later than other locations. The girls who work there, some are nice — a younger girl and an older one.

I go here all the time and find it clean, great ambiance, service fantastic– and they do a really good manicure. I’m extremely picky about where I get my nails done, and this place is like a godsend as its across the street from me. Never had any problems there! Highly recommend

Awful place! Never never never step foot in this place if you want your feet to be scratch-​free.
I walked-​in looking for a quick pedi/​mani before meeting with girlfriends. The women looked at my feet with nausea (I didn’t have a pedi for 1 week and have normal fungus-​free feet!). The women kept pushing specials on me and there was a point where I had to tell her: Simply pedi/​mani! During the pedi, not only was she talking badly about me to her colleague (it was obvious, they both looked at me discreetly and were whispering), but she scratched my feet so hard with a tool that my skin was bleeding. She noticed, stopped the scratching, and didn’t even acknowledge what she did.
Then, before the mani, she asked me to pay. I asked her to break a twenty. The woman came back with two ten dollar bills. I just wanted to get the hell out of there so gave her the ten dollars plus an absurd amount for the service. She didn’t deserve a tip! Once she was done, I left with only 2 – 5 mins under the air blower machine. Oh side note– she left my bag and sandals on the floor in the middle of the walk way! Just terrible service all around! Do not step foot in this place! There are so many better places in the neighborhood with better quality service!

I did my nail with my boyfriend at Nail Spa 49. The lady that did my nail named Yoyo is very kind and show great care when doing my nail. The ambience is very good. I will definitely come back again

I created a Unilocal for this business just to be able to rate it. Never go here. They are rude and awful at their jobs. I had to go home and redo the whole manicure myself after paying $ 11 plus $ 1 for quick dry.
