While visiting New York my friends happen to live extremely close to Nadals. We ended up going there several times throughout the trip. It is their neighborhood favorite-so many different assortments of choices. If you can dream it Nadals can make it. Best sandwiches ever. It’s a one stop shop for any meal you can dream. All fresh ingredients– you will go back time & time again! So amazing

I’ve been to a lot of delis and they are not as good as Nadal. Nadal honestly makes the best sandwiches. They have varieties of flavored chicken, cold cuts, and even a salad bar. It is easier for me to take the A train from 145th but I take the 1 train from 137th st so that I can stop by Nadal deli for a Cajun chicken sandwich on a whole wheat hero. Highly recommend clean deli. Try the chipotle mayo.

This place gets crowded, I get it, but there doesn’t seem to be a system in place to better organize their orders. I’ve called in to place an order, only to come in and find out they haven’t even started it! This wouldn’t be upsetting, except when I walked in, one of the cooks was in a full blown conversation with a couple other workers. It seemed like they didn’t care it was lunch rush, and were more interested in chattin it up than doin their jobs. I walked here from work and don’t have time for them to start it when I get there. This has affected the rest of my day; I will not be returning to this Nadal.

Their sandwiches are a MUST. Particularly the steak and cheese. Absolutely amazing. It’s not Philly, but great for Harlem. Never seen the Apple green tea Arizona before and Nadal has em. That is excellent.

They’re always ‘cleaning their grill’ when I come late at night. Don’t go their past midnight, other then that, they’re ok

Mixed feelings about this place. First, the guy in the picture on the left is a CLOWN. He’s annoying, extra corny and gets the order wrong 99% of the time. The three stars are for their breakfast sandwiches. Pretty good. The bread could be better and The way some of the meats and cheeses are stored appear a little sketchy but overall tasty sandwiches for an ok price.

Came here for some indulgence on good greasy food. Got some frozen mozzarella sticks and a Philly Cheese Steak for $ 8. Not bad. The cheese steak come with tomatoes? Is that a New York thing? I requested the sandwich with no tomatoes. The people working were fine. I smiled when ordering and the man at the register seemed really happy. The cheese sticks weren’t anything special. And the sandwich was okay, but nothing special. I decided to get the same thing at Santiago’s the next day to compare.

This is THE sandwich place to go to in the area. From seriously good breakfast sandwiches to their delicious and unique chicken blends(basil, pesto, chipotle, BBQ, balsamic, buffalo) to burgers and cheesesteaks to their salad bar to the vast array of cold cuts and cheeses, everything I’ve ordered has been top notch. Unlike other deli sandwiches that are a soggy mess by the time you get home to eat them, Nadal One lightly toasts their heroes and rolls, keeping the bread from turning to mush. Every person that I’ve dealt with behind their counters is a character and pleasure to deal with. They also have a small grocery section where you can pick up chips, cookies, or other random household goods. Keep up the good work!

I live in the neighborhood and can honestly say that I have no complaints about this joyous, sandwich-a-licious place! The friendly guys at the cash counter say hi as you enter, and the cool dudes at the deli counter always get your order right. If it gets busy(as it often tends to do during certain hours of the day/night), and they happen to be unsure of what you asked for, they ask you again so they can be sure to get it right! What brilliant novelty! Genius! I’m 30 years old and my usual is a bologna and muenster on a roll with lettuce, tomato, and mayo and they don’t even make fun of me for it! My boyfriend always gets something slightly more age appropriate, and on a hero, which earns him a free can of soda, or bottle of water. But, no hard feelings here. I digress… I’m always very impressed by their vast array of juices and other type liquids that you don’t normally find in this neighborhood. And prices are fair, if not on the cheap side.

If been coming here for here years, mostly cause everywhere else strikes food poisoning. I ordered my sandwich way, way, way before this Mexican momma came in with her tits hanging out, and they made her two sandwiches, she ordered back to back, after her first sandwich was done. To order the other one, before I got mine. It was obviously it was I was white, and I’m a male:

Convenient deli that is open 24⁄7. They take cash [no tax] and credit cards, with tax.

I love Nadal Deli. They know me by face and depending on what time I enter, know what sandwich I want. They are the kind of people that will make a big deal of your birthday and wish you luck on an interview. Plus the sandwiches are delicious — it is all about panini toasting the bread while they heat up the sandwich for all around perfection. If I ever move out of Harlem I will continue to get a sandwich from Nadal Deli at least once a month.

They deliver 24⁄7 any weather with only a 5 $ minium. This place is real NYC(so city college kids from out of town don’t complain). It’s really affordable and their sandwiches are great. The people who work here are personable and speak 3 languages. They remember faces and you can even run a credit here if you’re a reg. haha. Besides you could go to other delis but their run by the same people. So… Yea! A Neighborhood staple. I say boycott the Duane Reid that is coming up across the street! F that man.

My favorite neighborhood deli, I go here at least once/week as I live around the corner. Hot sandwiches are good, they have never gotten my order wrong. It takes a while to get them, but that’s because they’re grilling/toasting them in front of you. There’s never a line, despite what people below say. The only thing others locals are ever buying here are lottery tickets — if you’re getting food, pay at the counter closer to the deli.

Incredibly rude, terrible service, they love to put you on hold and then never pick back up, they take forever to deliver, the sandwiches are OK, depending on who’s making them, but never that great. I imagine they are just hoping that you will hang up and not call back so they will have less work to do. Whoever owns this place should seriously fire everyone except the delivery guys(who in my experience, are always very apologetic for the terrible service, and generally polite and sweet). There needs to be some sort of incentive for the staff to make money for the company– right now the incentives seem to be reversed. Unfortunately, the only other 24 hour delivery in the hood(5 star deli, which was MUCH better, and run by the nicest guys who really cared about service, and made a superior sandwich) just closed, and guess who’s moving in their location? Lucky for us, Harlem, its Nadal again. Look forward to continued bad service, by rude, disorganized a-holes.

Pretty decent sandwich for $ 4(got the maple glazed turkey breast). I went late so I didn’t have the issues others had. And it was warm(yess). Otherwise, just your run of the mill deli/store, except a bit nicer/cleaner(or at least seems that way) than most others around.

The sandwiches here are amazing. I see no reason why you would get sandwiches here unless you live in the area, but for somebody who does, it’s amazing.(I have never lived in the area by the way. Very good friends do for about 3 years now, and I know this neighborhood as well as any of my present and past ones) A huge, stuffed sandwiches with a drink is something around $ 4. And if you can, order delivery. Cuz they do delivery, even for one sandwich. I’ve actually done that. Not because I’m lazy, but because when you order there in person, it’s excruciatingly annoying. People barge up to the counter and have no sense of a line, or letting people go first. The guys behind the counter are usually pretty good about keeping the order, but it takes a while a lot of the time too. The breakfast sandwiches are also phenomenal. If you find yourself stranded in West Harlem, hungry, definitely try this place out.
