Need a taco or burrito fix with a well made Margarita, here’s my go to place. After a long day at work, towards the end of a too-long working life I can kick back here and enjoy some leisure time. Plenty of TVs and sports here but my eyes are on my favorite lady. Great happy hour deals too.

The worst tacos in NYC. the rice was hard, dried and flavorless. My lunch special came with a side or kale which was not seasoned and too bitter. And the tacos. Oh goodness I never knew that a taco could be made so poorly. The pulled chicken in the taco was dry. The bean taco was just loose beans. Not seasoned not warm not anything. Avoid at all cost.

Reasonably priced and delicious fried chicken, Mac & Cheese, and coleslaw. They have a really great happy hour too. Haven’t tried the donuts yet

RIP toast chicken. What was once my favorite comfort food is now a sad excuse for Mexican. Had dinner here, took an hour to get food, served terrible drink, and then over charged. Toast chicken, we hardly knew ye

Since they rebranded, this is honestly the worst restaurant I’ve eaten in in New York. Stay away. They comped more than half our meal and I’m still remarkably disappointed with paying so much for such terrible food and service. AVOIDATALLCOSTS! DONOTORDER, DONOTGO! 15 minutes for a drink, over an hour for burnt and disgusting food. Please, save yourself, do not go!

They misspelled the name, it should be Tasteless Chicken served with a lot of bad attitude and crappy fries. Eat there at your own peril

Ordered here for the first time so maybe this is just a fluke, but the delivery service was terrible. Food was good, so the only reason why I’m giving it 3 stars. Right after my food was delivered I got a phone call and didn’t have time to go through the bag. Apparently the delivery guy had forgotten part of the order, and had been hitting the buzzer for a couple of minutes(which I did not hear). When I buzzed him in and answered the door, he started yelling at me for not letting him in sooner. It’s not my fault part of my order was forgotten and he couldn’t have been waiting for long as I was on the phone for literally 3 minutes, so to be yelled at is completely out of line. Probably not going to be ordering from here again.

Been here several times and ordered several times. The star of this place is the buttermilk fried chicken wings and chili honey sauce. Service, management, and organization has always seemed scattered here. What has led me to ultimately come up with this rating is a combination of inconsistencies in service and seasoning the chicken. Service has been nice but always been slow in getting someone to help us. Waiting for our food seems to take forever. What capped it for me was a delivery order that took almost two hours to deliver which led to less crisp skin. What kind of place takes nearly two hours for a delivery within NYC? Sadly, the chicken is not good enough for me to put up with this. There are good or better alternatives elsewhere.

Good little restaurant near Columbia. Food is good and the price is reasonable. I recommend.

I think the food here tastes fine, but the service can definitely be improved. I got 10 pieces of chicken for takeout the other day, and had to wait 35 minutes until they were ready. If you want speedy service, don’t go here.

I am a regular here — and there is a reason for it. My girlfriend and I love it and come in nearly once a week. For a restaurant/bar in Morningside Heights it is shockingly cheap(if you get the specials) and is more delicious than it has any right to be. Our favorites are the weeknight(Sun-Wed) dinner specials. For $ 14 you can get two-three pieces of free range chicken, two sides, and a beer or sangria. During happy hour(everyday 4 – 7) all beer, sangria, and margarita’s are $ 5. I’ve never been a lover of frozen pre-made margarita’s but their sangria is consistently delicious and clearly made in-house. My favorite part of Toast, though, is their beer selection. While they rotate beers and in out regularly, it is a rare place in NYC that you can find delirium tremens(for example). Combined with their lovely happy hour, that means that you can drink an extremely well-acclaimed imported beer for $ 5(it costs $ 8 off of happy hour and $ 12 at most other places I’ve seen it). I’ve walked out of Toast a happy man on many occasions. I can’t speak for their delivery services but in-person they are, and continue to be one of my very favorites.

I have ordered from here twice, the first time the delivery was late but I assumed it was just a busy night. I ordered again tonight at 9:30pm– keep in mind I ordered a SALAD– It just arrived at 11:05pm. Completely unacceptable, I won’t be ordering from here again,

I LOVE this place. Great beer selection and great drinks(the margaritas are strong and big!). The service is great. The buffalo wings are fantastic(consistently). The chicken tenders are great too. Would not recommend the fried chicken, though(they should go to traditional battered fried chicken rather than the cornflake-encrusted kind). It’s really down-to-earth, with lots of seating.

Beer. Chicken. Pretend Harlem. What more could you ask for? I should stop. I want more of these places in places like here. They have happy hour on weekday evenings. Five dolla tap beers, y’all. Excellent service. The wings are okay, but they are wings, and wings eetahs ain’t choosy.

Very tasty sangria. Sides can be better and bigger. Mac and cheese is a hit or miss. It can taste like box Mac and cheese. Chicken is delicious and never dry. Staff is super cool.

After requesting a refund, grub-hub was able to refund me the lost entrée and stated the restaurant would not do anything else to correct the issue. Shame on them. The staff were incredibly rude and were not even apologetic.

I ordered delivery from here and had a terrible experience. The bean soup tasted like a can of Goya beans without seasoning. The sides were minuscule. The salads were small. Not ordering from here again.

Came here for brunch and we had the worst experience. The pushed eggs were overcooked and one of our dishes didn’t come with most of the items listed on the menu(tortillas and beans). Adding a star because the service was good. Will only return here for happy hour.

Damn, you deliciously tasty fried chicken. I swear I’m on a diet. I wanted to cheat just a little, so I decided to try Toast Chicken. I’m glad I did, though I’m worried about this«diet» moving forward. I ordered delivery through Seamless. The food arrived at the very end of the delivery time range — I thought this was totally fair given the rainy weather. I ordered to Rotisserie Chicken in an effort to be mindful of my «diet», but threw in a drum of Fried Chicken for good measure. The Rotisserie Chicken was so-so… a little overcooked and lacking in flavor… but that Fried Chicken, oh boy. I had no idea I could eat a chicken leg that fast. Moist, flavorful, a little salty(I like salty), with a little bit of fluff in the breading. I was really surprised that it was so good. I generally stick to honey fried chicken, but this awesome and some of the best fried chicken I’ve had in the City.(I’m actually worried this was too good to be true and that it’s actually an evil evil fluke.) I also had Macaroni & Cheese Gratin and really enjoyed it. It was a good mix of cheese and creamy. There was also a seasoning mix that came with the delivery and I sprinkled it on top and it was amazing. Mama’s Famous Broccoli was good — it appeared to have been steamed and tossed with pine nuts, garlic and topped with shredded cheese. I may or may not have also had the Hot Donut. It may or may not have been pretty tasty, not too sweet and a little crispy. But I can’t really say… I’ll pray for the longevity of my diet, but I definitely be having Toast Chicken again. I look forward to checking out the actual restaurant.
