Great food. Pasta is fantastic. The desserts are great. They use only freshly made ingredients which is why it’s so expensive. You get what you pay for! The only thing is the acoustics aren’t so great by the front area and it’s cold in the winter.

Tuna steak is one of those things that need to be seared, and not cooked through. Otherwise you may as well have had canned tuna… Yesterday I ordered the Tuna Nicoise salad, and all looked beautiful except the main part of the dish. The tuna. I cut open the tuna steak to find only the middle part slightly raw. It was too well done. After trying to figure out if I should say something or not, since I knew I wouldn’t enjoy this dish, my friends encouraged me to do so. I quietly told the waiter that the tuna was too overdone unfortunately. He kept on pointing to the middle to prove to me that it was good. I didn’t want to make a fuss, so I just left it alone in silence… Any normal person who knows good food and cooking would see that was over done. I was really unimpressed with the waiter, especially since he was trying to argue with me. Sadly, this is the only reason why I have rated this restaurant so low. If the waiter was kind enough to make sure that I was happy with my food, I would have given this place 5 stars. Customer service is so important…

What is this place and how is it still open??? Worst service, old cheap quality food and you better make sure to go in hungry because they make their customers spend at least $ 20 on food once you get seated(not a big deal but what if u want soup and a salad… Idiots. Rude rude rude.

Took forever to deliver my food, wouldn’t tell me how much it costed over the phone, and then forgot my main dish. They refused to reimburse me and then proceeded to take another hour to deliver me the rest of the food. Food wasn’t even good. There are much better kosher dairy options in the city.

This rating is just for the customer service here. I never even got to try the food. My sister and I stopped by here on Mother’s day. We walked in and there wasn’t anybody at the door directing anybody or greeting anybody so we were kind of lost. The waiter at the front saw us and greeted us and told us since there wasn’t anymore space at the front we should go towards the back and ask to be seated there. We proceeded and walked towards one of the waiters there and told him we were looking to be seated, he just looked at us dumbfounded and told us he would have to look at his book and disappeared. Another younger waiter who was around there saw us and was about to seat us when somebody else yelled across the room and said he needed to look at the book. I get that it was mothers day and many had made reservations but it was still early in the day and there were definitely a handful of seats. The young waiter proceeded to go «check the book» too I guess. After a couple of minutes what looked to be like the manager breezes by and ask how many of us there were and if we had reservations. When we said we didn’t he just said that it would be a long wait and didn’t even offer the possibility of waiting. We felt so unwelcome here and will definitely not be coming back.

Came here on a Sat night. It was very busy but we were able to get a table right away. Food was very good. Portions were normal sized, and everything tasted very fresh. The service was excellent. Highly recommend.

Overpriced… salad didn’t even have cucumbers or tomatoes. So I paid for leaves. The soup was good(tomato basil) and the service super nice. I tried the carrot cake which was good too. I would say desserts for this place but the rest is overpriced and you can do better elsewhere.

We had my bridal shower here and it was just fantastic! Everyone was so lovely, and the staff was very helpful and attentive. The food was delicious — nice portions! I had salmon, and it was cooked perfectly. The desserts are even better! The entire experience was wonderful, and I am so glad that we picked this restaurant for the bridal shower. The owner and her daughter were extremely caring and kind, and made sure our party was perfect :) Thank you for being so great, and for helping make everything so memorable!

For a kosher place this is actually pretty good. The veggie burger and sweet potato fries were delicious, the chickpea burger wasn’t as great but still good. Will definitely go back to try other stuff from the menu. *this is kosher dairy(no meat)

Went there on a Saturday night, it was busy but didn’t have to wait long for our food. They don’t take reservations tho on Saturday nights. Got the spaghetti squash q marinara sauce and cheese and was delish, minus all those carbs from pasta!

If you are walking down the street and see a restaurant with a BIG sign saying«My Most Favorite Food», I think you might imagine that was an invitation to eat there. Not true. There should be an attached sign that says«Of course you need to be of the correct religion». They don’t tell you you can’t eat there, they just make you wait and wait for food they don’t plan to serve you until you leave! Like the old restaurants that won’t serve blacks!

We stopped in here after some Central Park exploring. I have to be honest I wasn’t over impressed with what we got and what we paid for. I felt the menu was on the pricy side for the portion sizes and the food just being ‘ok’. The servers we’re fast but not the most attentive and it took a while for our drinks to come along, and a bit longer for them to be correct. It was really busy though so they’re doing something right for someone, just wouldn’t be a place I’d rush to get back too and would probably look elsewhere if back in the area.

Still noisy, this time in the glass-roofed rear. Great Strawberry shortcake and quiche.

Take this review with a grain of salt and then add it to your meal because you will need it. Having the Kosher monopoly when it comes to brunch does not give you the right to offer up expensive, bland and unimaginative dishes. The service was lovely but the food was boring and bland once again. Unfortunately in this case I had no choice just like many of the other folks who visit here.

We got salmon salad, salmon burger, soup salad combos and everyone really enjoyed their food. Very flavorful and well prepared. We also got both regular and sweet potato fries which were extremely good. The restaurant is surprisingly deep with various seating options. We sat in front window area which was really nice because it was like a covered outdoor seating area without the rain. For dessert, the peanut butter mouse pie was a really big hit. It is definitely a great lunch spot.

I don’t typically go to kosher restaurants unless my dad and his wife are in town. Well my step mom was in town with her daughter and this is where she wanted to come. I ordered the salmon Caesar salad and it was great. The salmon was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The dressing for the salad while quite good, was a little different from normal Caesar dressing that I’ve had, but it was still good. My step sister had the fettucine alfredo and she seemed pretty happy about it. It was her birthday and she’s never celebrated her birthday in a restaurant before so it was a nice touch when the waiters came out and sang to her. I had to explain to her that it happens in a lot of restaurants and the reaction she was having(feeling embarrassed) was completely normal. She had the peanut butter moose cake, I had the chocolate cake and my step mom had the gulten free brownie. We were all smiling at the end. I will definitely be back, maybe even without them because the salmon was so good!

This place is delicious. We met friends here for Brunch and had a nice time. Food(4⁄5): I ordered the Poached Eggs Florentine and I was really pleased with it. The eggs were poached perfectly. I enjoyed the hollandaise sauce, and thought the spinach was cooked nicely. I was a bit surprised that the eggs came on a slice of bread instead of an english muffin, but the bread was actually quite tasty — even a little sweet. The portions were a good size. It’s not huge portions, but you definitely don’t leave hungry. The side of home fries weren’t too greasy(although nothing to write home about) and the side salad tasted fresh. If I go back for brunch, I would probably go with the French Toast instead. It looks decadently sweet, and the right kind of thing to order at a bakery. Ambiance(5⁄5): The space feels like a fancy french bakery. The lighting is really bright and there is a nice amount of space between tables. Service(1⁄5): Look — the restaurant seemed under staffed. It’s a kosher restaurant and I tend to expect pretty bad service at these places. We had to ask the server multiple times for most things we ordered, so be ready to push. So just don’t expect a quick brunch and you’ll have a nice time.

I’m not a person who typically goes to kosher restaurants because I usually don’t enjoy them for whatever reason, but as a lunch party with some of my religious coworkers, this is where we ended up based on one of their recommendations(he lives in the area, keeps kosher, etc). We arrived around 1pm on a Friday afternoon. For such an awkward time, the restaurant was rather lively, not crowded, but not empty. We were seated in the back so we had to pass the bakery to get to our table. I glanced at the pastries and most looked really good, especially the cute cookies they had on the counter(it was also Valentine’s Day so I’m not sure this is what the bakery normally looks like or if there were a lot of orders for the holiday). I decided to keep it simple(I get frustrated when I cannot mix meat and dairy) so I ordered the Provençal Omelet, which had gruyère cheese, caramelized onions, and shiitake mushrooms, and came with a side salad. When the food arrived, the plate was too small for the meal they put on it and it was difficult to mind my manners as lettuce leaves were falling off my plate. The food was mediocre at best. The omelet lacked salt, the cheese had little flavor, there weren’t enough onions nor were they really caramelized, and the mushrooms were watery. The eggs however, were really fluffy. The salad was okay, I didn’t expect much, nor did it taste like much. Other notes: My boss ordered the tomato soup as an appetizer and the bowl was HUGE. She was full once she finished it. The burgers(both veggie and salmon ones) looked really good but the fries(both sweet potato and regular) that they came with seemed a little dry. The fish tacos(two of my coworkers ordered this dish) looked really good, but again, the plate was way too small for a food that is pretty messy to eat. SERVICEISREALLYSLOW, it took forever for the food to come out, but the waiters and busboys are really attentive and kept coming by to refill our water and get us more soda.
