I’ve been here 3 times now. The food has never disappointed. I’d recommend getting delivery, as its takeout and they don’t really have a place to sit(the people at the restaurant will ask you to move if its busy). That being said, I’ve gotten take out all 3 times, and still love this place. Also, that package design was delicious.

Take out only!!! They are actually at this address, but it’s kind of weird. You go inside another bar/restaurant and go all the way to the back where there is a separate kitchen operating a takeout sandwich business… My Belly’s Playlist for you. I got a sandwich box here today and I loved it. Chocolate chip cookie was real – from a recipe and didn’t have that bakery taste cookies sometimes have – and the sandwich was delicious. I had the squash sandwich. Very fast service – we just popped in and ordered. It was ready in 5 minutes. We paid cash, so I don’t know if they take card. Looking forward to next time!

spent a good 15 minutes trying to find this place and ended up walking in circles and empty handed. Hopefully one day i’ll be able to find it and update this review. Until then, they need to have better directions on their site and Unilocal page.

I’ve only ordered from here but the selection of food was good. The quality also seemed fine. I’d like to go in person some time.

First of all, I was a big supporter of My Belly’s Playlist, and have been ordering from them for over a year now. Today was the WORST experience I’ve ever had from them. In the past, I’ve dealt with them forgetting my order/not seeing it pop up on their computers/long delivery times, because they were always nice on the phone and were accommodating. This time, it was all around HORRIBLE. First off, we ordered at 12PM and expected an hour delivery time, but at 1:15PM the food didn’t arrive. I called and was told that it would arrive in 15mins. By 2PM, the food STILL did not arrive and when I called I was only told«Today has been busy for us, that’s what happens». How is that response even okay? For a place that only serves take-out lunch, they should be prepared for this OR at least give a more factual response when I called the first time. When the food finally came, it was terrrriibbbblllleeee. I ordered the Perfect Chicken Parm, but I got something far from perfection– actually looked like something my little brother threw together on a sandwich maker: This is the description on the website — «Thinly sliced pan roasted chicken, classic marinara, fresh mozzarella, herb fried zucchini fritter on baguette» What I received(check the picture out) — «Chicken strips with mozzarella and a slice of plain zucchini(not herb fried) on an extremely soggy baguette» Even the amazing cookie was burnt. I don’t think I will ever order from them again. It’s just insane that I’m paying $ 15 for this.

I can only imagine that the reason why people have left 5 stars is because the food tasted AMAZING after an almost two hour delivery time. Food itself is nothing to write home about. My own belly’s playlist will be featuring food from elsewhere.

Terrible, bland food. Over an hour late with delivery. Forgot some of the food items. +80 dollars down the drain. Wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. Honestly the one star is for how nice the guy was over the phone in trying to figure out where the hell the delivery driver was.

Take out only! I looked for the location for about 20 minutes and decided to call them. They are located inside a bar… unfortunately I had already ordered from the bar menu when a gentleman randomly handed me a free salad & chocolate chip cookie. DELICIOUS!

The salad with eggs and black bean patties was cold, unseasoned, the patties were very hard and bland. The zucchini sandwich had no flavor other than the olive spread which was pronounced. The food, all in all, was incredibly bland and flavorless. The delivery time, quoted 15−30min and ordered on a Wednesday at 4:15pm(thus, not during rush or peak hours), arrived at 5:30pm. They also charge a $ 1 fee for delivery, which came 1.5 hours after ordering. Pretty disappointed.

Not impressed. My office ordered boxes lunch delivery from these guys– the sandwiches came in nice enough looking boxes, but they were all labelled with really strange names, I suppose it’s their attempt to cater to the Tribeca elites who would never order a regular ham and cheese; but I’m sorry, if you’re going to label a sandwich, you should identify what’s in it. Or at least include some type of mini menu that can be put on the counters amongst the sandwich boxes. We had dozens of people on their cell phones trying to login to the restaurants website to see what was in each sandwich but unfortunately the restaurant chooses not to put descriptions of the sandwiches on their mobile website. I guess customers are expected to have supernatural abilities to foresee what will arrive on the name of a sandwich they’ve never heard of before? The business hasn’t even posted a complete menu to Unilocal that shows what they serve. Also, given that«assorted sandwiches» were ordered, they haven’t quite gotten down the whole balance thing in terms of how many types of what sandwich. All that was left by the time it was my turn to pick a sandwich was a squash sandwich. The last kale sandwich went right before I got there(which I don’t think would have been much better since in my opinion, kale belongs in a salad, not in a sandwich) Which I passed on and had to go buy lunch for myself to get something with some substance. Kinda defeats the purpose of catering, doesn’t it?

I LOVE My Belly’s Playlist. I’ve never been to the storefront, but I always order from them via Seamless. The Rancher is my favorite, but all the food is amazing! AND it always comes with a delicious chocolate chip cookie which puts a smile on my face. At this point, I’m just counting the days to warmer weather when avocados are back in season. Avocados = Guacamole and My Belly has a lock on their Guac! Quick note: the delivery time does take a while, but it is worth the wait for sure!

Ordered a sandwich &3 bean chili off seamless and was told i’d receive my order in 40 — 60 min. Took them an hour and 45 min and when i called, the person was less than apologetic. When i actually received my order the sandwich was cold, flavorless, and missing the horseradish sauce that was in the menu’s description. The 3 bean chili was decent but nothing better than a can from trader joe’s(and way more expensive). Would rather go hungry and save $ 25 than order from here again.

Had to update my review. I just had the tomato and grilled cheese sandwich, freshly made tomato soup, and chocolate chip cookie. The food was ready within 10 minutes of ordering(long enough to walk from work to there restaurant). That is HANDSDOWN the best grilled cheese and tomato soup I’ve ever eaten in my life. I will DEFINITELY return!

holy mother of YUM! This places is so delicious. I just had it for the first time today(after months of seeing it pop up on my lunch spots to try) and I am honestly sad that I didn’t decide to go sooner. I could have been eating the Outcast(cabernet braised short rib sliders with horseradish cream and NY cheddar on a brioche bun) this whole time, damnit! I cannot wait to go back for more… possibly tomorrow? For anyone that isn’t ordering online, it is located at the back of an Irish bar on Murray street in Tribeca. You have to order from the kitchen window. I would never have found it without calling first because there are no signs outside. Enjoy!

First of all, the Squash! sandwich is delicious. Unfortunately I wasted a chunk of my lunch hour just finding the place and then ordering… walked over with two coworkers and didn’t realize they are take-out/delivery only in the back of the new Lilly O’ Briens location. You have to walk through Lilly’s to a window in the back. Sitting at Lilly’s is not an option unless ordering from Lilly’s menu. We happened to find the place because we were looking for it the same time someone else was and then we all ran into the delivery guy. There is no sign out front, and while in the back trying to look at the menu and ask questions the Lilly’s waitress told us to get out of the way because she was running in and out with soups. So we waited for the customer before us to look at their only menu since we didn’t want to block the waitress more to share the menu and ask questions. Now we know for future reference to just order online from seamless ahead of time and then pick it up.

Get to the Chase: Pros: 1) They are on Seamless 2) NOTHING beats their lunch deal Grilled Cheese Tomato and Bacon sandwich with homemade tomato soup! So delicious and you can tell they give attention and care to any sandwich they make. 3) Consistency in quality! Never be disappointed 4) Owner is understanding and puts customers first 5) Chopped pickles and cookie with every sandwich order is a nice touch 6) Nicely packaged… even the sandwiches are double wrapped in foil and paper to make sure they arrive hot! Cons: 1) Takes foooooreover… delivery is slow 45 — 60 min :( 2) $ 10-$ 13 is not the cheapest of sandwiches, but thankfully the quality is there 3) $ 1 delivery charge on seamless

So, I know a solid business concept when I see it, especially when it’s a sandwich shoppe. Belly’s is a take-out and delivery only kitchen in TriBeca that’s serving up creative sandwiches and killer, tasty cookies. I ordered the chicken parmigiana and was surprised at it’s preparation. Instead of a fried chicken cutlet, it was made with fresh pulled chicken and topped with fried zucchini. The sauce on top was just okay, the bread was good. I found myself tired by the chicken after the first half. It was a bit dry, and even if it’s healthier, taste is still key. Highlight of the experience was the cookie and their awesome ‘sandwich’ sign as you walk in to pick-up your food. I can see myself coming back here to try a few more things off the menu. It’s a bit overpriced but you receive a 10% off coupon with your first order and the cookie is free. A three-star meal with a four-star review because of excellent marketing. Recommend for a try at least once.

While I was out walking around yesterday a man handed me a business postcard about this place. I had never heard of this place before and was surprised by all of the good Unilocal reviews so I decided to try it for lunch today. This place is located on the second floor of a building which is sort of odd. When you walk in, there is an open food prep area and about 5′ that’s cornered off for people to order their food or pick up their orders. I believe most of their customers get delivery as I did not see one person come in while I was there but I saw the delivery guy walk out with several orders in tow. I ordered the Caesar kale chicken wrap. It was very tasty. I normally don’t like croutons but even their croutons tasted very good. I also enjoyed the free chocolate chip toffee cookie that they included with the meal. I would definitely go back. As for the wrapping, it looked alright. It was wrapped in a foil then in butcher’s paper and then put into a brown WholeFoods-looking box. The way the other Unilocaler described it, I was almost expecting origami. My only qualm with this place is that the man making the wraps was not wearing a glove. After I watched him make my wrap and then start on another wrap, someone must’ve said something like, «There’s a customer standing right there. Put a friggin glove on!» He went and put a glove on… one hand only. In my opinion, food preparers should always be wearing gloves especially when preparing foods that will go straight from their hands into my mouth and there’s no other cooking process in between the hand touching and the eating. With that said, the food was very good and the ingredients were very fresh. So gloves issue aside, I would try this place again. Hopefully, the management sees my post and asks that all food preparers(at least the ones who are assembling the final sandwiches/wraps) wear gloves on BOTH hands… which should probably already be a requirement under the NYC Health Code… and if it’s not, it should be! UPDATE: It looks like it is a requirement under NYS law for food preparers to wear disposable gloves when touching ready to eat foods. Looks like the State health people had the exact same thought as I did! Who knew?: Am I required to wear disposable sanitary gloves? State law does not require gloves to be worn, but does require that ready-to-eat food be prepared and served without bare hand contact. Wearing disposable sanitary gloves is one of several acceptable ways to comply with this law. What kinds of foods may not be touched with bare hands? prepared fresh fruits and vegetables served raw; salads and salad ingredients; cold meats and sandwiches; bread, toast, rolls and baked goods; garnishes such as lettuce, parsley, lemon wedges, potato chips or pickles on plates; fruit or vegetables for mixed drinks; ice served to the customer; any food that will not be thoroughly cooked or reheated after it is prepared.

Get the mac and cheese. Get the mac and cheese. Get the mac and cheese. I hope I’ve made my point. Oh, and add in a cookie. Had I stuck to the amazing mac and cheese, this would be a 5 star review. I branched out the other day and ordered a grilled cheese sandwich. The bread that they used is all wrong for grilled cheese. It was a sweet, dense bread with various nuts. I maybe ate half of my sandwich. The grilled cheese comes with a tomato soup. The soup is a bit chunky in texture(almost salsa like) and tastes vegan. I’m more of a creamy tomato soup girl myself. The sandwich was a waste of money and calories. The macaroni and cheese, however, I’d spend all day walking around Manhattan to burn off those calories and make room in my belly for more. I honestly had it for lunch and dinner yesterday. I was out of the city for a month and missed this mac and cheese like crazy. It has just the right amount of cheese — it’s not swimming in some flour-based, gelatinous, fake orange sauce. I’m usually not a fan of breadcrumb toppings, but this stuff is topped with just the right amount of wonderfully seasoned crumbs. It’s going to be a struggle to not eat it again today. Get a cookie. The chocolate chips are gooey throughout the cookie, even with the cookie at room temp. The cookie has a delicate balance of crunchy to soft texture. It very well may be the best cookie I’ve ever had — and I passed up cheesecake yesterday to eat more of these cookies. Mac and cheese with a cookie will set you back $ 10ish. The mac and cheese, for me, is a big enough order for 2 meals.

When you see the British guard, it’s directly to the right through the first black door then the red door. Walk upstairs. Now for the sandwiches… :)
