You know what you’re getting when you walk into this place. If you expect anything more, you’ll be disappointed. If you expect funnel cake, you’re in the right place.

This is a place for drunk people to have snacks that they are too lazy to make at home for a relatively cheap price. The exception to this rule is the PB&J, which you will only make at home if you have a deep fryer and a monstrous distaste for your coronary arteries. The mac n’ cheese is decent.

I guess if you’re stoned or drunk, it works. But other than that, I find the food inedible. It is not worth the guilt of having«indulged» on a burger that is poorly cooked, cheese that tastes like imitation, and well, the extra frills that you pay for also taste out of a can.

The food is a little on the bland side, but the real problem with Munchies is that it opens very irregularly, and doesn’t post its hours when it’s closed.

I’ve never been here sober, so that may cloud my judgement for the actual quality of the food… but it’s oh so amazing. After a night of drinking and dancing in the LES, Munchies definitely hits the spot. No need to take a cab, just walk around the corner and you’ll find all the snacks you could possibly want at 4am. If you’ve seen a trend in my reviews, I have an obsession with mac and cheese so naturally, I order mac and cheese here. Ok, so it’s not the best mac and cheese, but it does the trick. The quantity is perfect because you feel satisfied, but you’re not grossed out at how much crap you just put into your body at 4am. I’m pretty sure I’ve had multiple items from the menu… but can’t remember them very well. I wonder why.

oh… i’ll be back. the place delivers on its name. it’s the perfect place for late night grub or delivery. here are my faves: 1. mac and cheese – something in this tastes a little msg-ish but i’m good with it. the bread crumb topping is crispy and delicious. 2. mini corn dogs – not sure how anyone can go wrong here 3. jamaican meat patty – again, yum. you’re hungry and need cheap unhealthy eats. this is your place.

Ordered the«mild» wings, I didn’t expect a lot of spiciness, but they weren’t spicy at all. The wings were small, the flavor was bland, and it was wayyyyyy too buttery. It filled me up, but wasn’t fantastic. Stop by at least once if you want.

This place really hit the spot. The fiancé and I came here in between sets at the mercury lounge to grab a quick bite to eat. I got the veggie burger with grilled onions and he got the grilled chicken and mushroom sandwich. It wasn’t «fast food» — they spent a good 10 minutes cooking our food to order. It came out piping hot. We both took one bite of our food and were both wowed. My veggie burger(as another reviewer noted) was amazing. It had a little kick to it and the onions were great. It was also big and filled me up for dinner! The chicken sandwich was also really tasty… really juicy and flavorful! They really know how to use their spices! What a great dinner for $ 12(including a diet coke)!

The burger was overpriced. $ 4 for a single patty on a bun with only a topping(I got chipotle mayo). I love onion rings and they’re not easy to find in the area, but the portion again was poor for $ 3. I’m also surprised by the place. It was empty on a Friday late night. They had a live DJ there playing for no one. Weird. Nothing special, I would either go to fast food or go for something that’s worth it like Five Guys(unfortunately not open very late).

After a night of dancing«black» and«indian» at Element and the Vault, I was pleasantly surprised by my friends’ late-night Munchies grub fest. My usual Weekend Night M.O. is as follows: 1. Drink a crap load. 2. Get to the club 3. Drink a crap load while simultaneously dance a crap load(I’m a good multi-tasker) 4. Shut the place down. 5. Eat at least 2 slices of pizza at Ray’s(it’s blasphemous, I know) So when I was greeted by a late-night veggie burger and delicious french fry option– I grubbed like I never grubbed before. And I even ordered a quesadilla for dessert. Amazing. In total, I got a veggie burger, fries(with tasty spices at no extra charge), 2 cheese quesadillas(1 for me, 1 for my roommate) and it totaled about 15 bucks. And not mention the place was not even packed with obnoxious drunkards even at 3am. And the chick who served us was super nice, even though I was probably THE obnoxious drunk at that point. Please do yourself a favor the next time you think of heading to Ray’s for late night munchies: Go to Munchies instead. You won’t be disappointed. Trust.

Didn’t know what to eat last night but wanted boyfriend and I wanted a snack. Then I found Munchies on and I’m soooo glad I did. The prices are super-cheap but the food is so yum! Everything is made fresh to order and made from scratch so it might take a little while to get your food, but it would be worth it. I didn’t feel like it was a long wait at all, pretty standard for delivery from other places. The menu isn’t really extensive, but should have something to please everyone’s palate when looking for some good ol’ american style food(burgers, fries, quesadillas, etc.). We got the chicken burger, veggie burger, mozzarella balls, and potato sticks. The veggie burger was seriously the best veggie burger I have ever tasted. Maybe there’s crack in it as the binding. But whatever the case it was tasty and I love that I could build my own burger by adding from a nice selection of toppings. My boyfriend got the chicken burger and was also pleasantly surprised and said it was the 2nd best burger he’s ever had(but that’s comparing it to a regular beef burger so I guess we can say it’s the best chicken burger he’s ever had ha). The mozzarella balls are also something to get. Instead of a little mozzarella stick, it’s a small bite-sized fresh mozz ball battered with bread crumb and fried. There’s only 6 little balls in an order for $ 3, but so good I would get it again. The potato sticks, are just seasoned fries. If you really want fries get them, but they were a little hard(I’m rather particular about my fries, crispy on the outside but soft on the inside without being too crunchy, mushy, or soggy) and could use a little less seasoning. Maybe just get an extra order of mozz balls for a buck more than the order of potato sticks. Definitely going to order from them again and try some of their other food.
