Great furniture in a cool space. We ended up buying our couch in Montréal where Montauk is manufactured but we fell in love with it in this store. Soooo comfortable. They have styles that are stylishly slouchy and others which are more slick but all are very, very comfy. The one we chose has classic lines without being frumpy. If you are in the market for seating and/​or occasional tables, this place should definitely be on your list.

Huh, say what? no one reviewed this place yet? What are the NY Unilocalers doing?!
So many years ago (read when you still had to use tokens on the subway), I was roaming in Soho on a rainy day and came in this store by chance. The space is inviting, and those sofas are beautiful. That’s where I first used my now trademarked line (see my SF review of Montauk): «So comfortable, your @ss will never forget».
Well, there is some truth to that as I ended up buying one of their sofas in SF a couple of years later.
Not cheap, not overly funky, but sleek and über comfortable.
