Molloy Bros Moving & Storage

Seriously, I absolute recommend working with Molloy Bros. From the initial phone call until the follow up inquiries regarding my experience and any further requests, this company was professional and thorough, and accurate. I moved with them twice; the first time after my house fire, we moved the salvaged belongings into both a storage facility as well as to a rental house. Then a few months later, we moved all the belongings back into my rebuilt home. The movers themselves were responsive to any requests I made and completely made me feel at ease and fully assisted. The packers did a great job too! I know this because I unpacked everything and there were no damages and nothing was missing. When I thought I may have been missing a box a few days later, they looked in all their possible places, and voila! I found it in a box that I myself had mismarked.
They were all around terrific and I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Great day… and I moved. What can usually be a stressful day, went smoothly. The crew showed up on time… even a bit early. They were organized and courteous. They packed up my breakables, and took great care with my furniture. The day was done so quickly… I was shocked. ANd no extra hidden charges!
My nephew used them recently, and was also satisfied. Highly Recommend.

LIARS & HORRIBLE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE.
When the agent from Molloy Bros, Marie, came to do our moving estimate she said that we would only be billed for the actual weight of our items. It turns out our shipment was 1000 pounds less than her estimate. However, we are now being told that we will not be getting a refund because the agent Lora either deliberately or out of sheer incompetence, gave us the wrong contract. This despite the fact that we were told numerous times by Marie, Lora, and the actual moving guys that we would be getting a refund due to the difference in weight. We’ve called everyone to correct this issue, including Mayflower, and keep getting the run around. I will be telling everyone I know NOT to ever use your services!

Use these guys if you want to get ripped off. After they came and did an estimate of $ 4400 for our one bedroom apartment in Hoboken we decided to go with them. The estimate was based on the estimated weight of the stuff we would have. We thought this was fine as it was an estimate and they assured us that they would provide us with the actual weight when everything is loaded into the truck. At which time we would receive a refund if the weight came in lower.
They sent us a contract and we signed everything based on what we were told and the content of the contract. Everything was packed and moved. However when it arrived, there were numerous items broken, damaged, and missing.
Worst of all, the weight came in lower, over 800 pounds lower and they never gave us a refund. The gave us the run around and told us we signed a contract that was not bound by weight even though 5 people that work for them told us we would get a refund if the weight was lower. All they kept saying was that we signed a contract that was not bound by weight.
DON’T USE THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE THIEVES AND THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!!!

This company has many locations so I just picked one to write the review. Although, the one I used was in LI… I think but I live in Manhattan and they came in to do their thing. After some horror encounters with some other companies I decided to go with this company b/​c I used them before in the past and they were very punctual.
I am amazing at their systematic fashion to moving. They were here early, packed up everything with appropriate labels for the move the following day. I was just watching the efficency of the guys. The following day, they were just as organized. Got there early, moved everything out and moved everything in… carefully and thoughtfully.
I was very happy with the service they provided and although, it was relatively costly (2k), I felt I got my money’s worth. No frustrations and they put everything into their appropriate places. All I had to do was open boxes and unload. THey were already in the right rooms.
