Formerly Sutton Place now rebranded Midtown 1015(not sure why) is still the same décor which was always okay. The staff or rather the waitress we had at the moment was awesome(sorry can’t remember her name since I am finishing this months later). If you’re coming to get caught up with friends forget it since the music is very loud, but the DJ is decent. I recommend on an awesome summer or spring day visit the roof top space.

Been here a couple of times for drinks after work during the week. Usually in the summer, there are a few(older) people downstairs on the main level, no one in the middle level, and every table on the roof(level 3) is full. I always want this to be a good roof, but it’s a little shabby and they let people smoke up there. Ew. Once there was even a guy puffing on a cigar and smelling up the whole place. I think«meh» describes the place well — the drinks, the cost, the service, the food are all«meh.» Could be a lot better, but also could be a little worse.

Walking into Midtown 1015 I thought I was going to love this place. I mean it’s a multilevel bar with a rooftop that’s big enough to have a large bar, standing space, tables, chairs and a long sofa against the wall opposite the bar. Also, the bouncers were pretty friendly which is not the norm for bars in NYC. However, it all went downhill when my friend was placing the drink order for the group and asked for a gin & tonic(Tanqueray) and the bartender(on the rooftop) gave us this look of annoyance and said they didn’t have Tanqueray. SHOCKED we asked for other types of gin and was told they only gin they had was well. WHAT type of restaurant/bar that can afford a multilevel space in NYC can’t afford to stock their bar with Tanqueray??? Won’t be coming back here until that bartender gets a new attitude(haha Patti LaBelle song from the 80s) and they get Tanqueray.

Came here on a Saturday night. Pretty awesome place I must say. I stayed on the 2nd floor most of the time since that was where the DJ was located. Awesome time. Rooftop was pretty crowded and music was low on the roof. I’d def be back. Drinks were great as well.

I came here with a few friends for happy hour on a Monday. It’s a very cozy rooftop spot in Midtown, but perhaps its greatest asset is a happy hour than runs until 8pm. $ 5 well drinks and shock tops — great deal. Surprisingly, there weren’t a lot of people here(I’d assume it would be jam packed pretty much daily), so it was more of a relaxed vibe, but we were a group of eight and were happy to have gotten a table. After a few rounds of shock tops, I decided to order the buffalo chicken sandwich. Average at best, but the fries were solid. Overall, pretty decent spot!

An awesome rooftop in midtown east. Happy hour runs 4 – 8! It was a beautiful summer night with my girlfriends! The service was a little slow on what I would consider an empty night, but we had a great time sitting and talking and being outside in a beautiful city! I had the buffalo chicken fingers and they were amazing! My friend got the black and blue burger and raved about it!

I came here for dinner on a Saturday night. This place literally has the best turkey burger I’ve ever had. Came with sweet potato fries. It has a beautiful rooftop view. The only thing I would say is the service could have been better and more attentive. It wasn’t so busy and there definitely could have been more attention given. Happy overall though.

Walked by and decided to give this place a shot. Spacious so no matter how crowded, you’ve got some personal space. Thank goodness for that Pretty nice happy hour. $ 28 pitchers of sangria(which are yum!) Good music and bar food. All I could ask for. I’d definitely be back.

Drinks are pretty OK if you go to the bartenders upstairs and not on the lower level. Bartenders on the first floor are pretty inept, and one of them has a prickly disposition that she needs to sort out with some deep meditation. Having said that, it’s normally not that packed, the crowd is a little older, think mid 20’s– mid 30’s. As for the actual venue it’s spacious, with a large first floor with lots of seating and a upper floor with an O.K. sized dance floor, and additional seating.

Because of the rooftop, happy hour is terribly congested. It takes awhile to get water and the drinks that you order. Be patient. Or, order a pitcher(beware sangria has a lot of ice in it!) For some reason, they wouldn’t let my hubby in with a hat(not a baseball cap or anything like that) but a nice hat. It gets noisy. Good prices, decent bar food. If Redemption next door gets too crowded, drop by here. On a side note, our waitress was very good despite the crazy traffic.

Fun local sports bar. Rooftop has tvs so you can watch the game there. Drinks are made decently. Bartenders are fast and pretty attentive. The appetizer sampler was decent and enough for three people to pick at.

I was charged 14 dollars for an old fashioned made with Bulliet. What I was given? A cup of warm water, a tiny splash of bourbon, and an unmuddled wedge of orange. Disgusting, and missing several of the key ingredients. Bar tender gets a 0⁄10. Bar tenders on the first floor have been incredibly hostile the past two times that I have been to this bar. Both times they miscalculated the bill for my friends. When she undercharged, the bartender came back to harass one of my friends about re-paying the bill. Wouldn’t have been a problem if she wasn’t so rude. Even worse, she originally made me tally up my own bill, and then yelled at me for adding it up incorrectly. When I asked her to just give me a check, she snapped at me «what happened to your(phone) calculator?!» And then complained that my calculation didn’t include tip(before I even had the chance to tip her for her poor service.) The rooftop is fun, and those bar tenders are polite and helpful, not hostile and useless when it comes to mixing drinks and calculating the tab(first floor staff, those are your only two tasks. Happy hour crowd is mostly young. I’ve been many times before, and will probably be back, for the atmosphere upstairs, not the service downstairs.

Came here on two separate occasions and I enjoyed myself both times. The first time, I came here for a friend’s birthday party. The place was packed, could not even move! Lots of good looking people, great music, and lots of fun dancing. There was an open bar special, for $ 30(I think?) you got two hours of unlimited drinks, SO worth it! Had a great time. The second time I came was with a small group of friends. There were not many people there, but the music was still good and the drinks were still strong, so we had a great time. The nice part about less people was that for those of us who wanted a break from dancing or standing, there was actually space to sit on the couches. Really fun spot to come hang out, dance, and drink. Not pretentious, very comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. I don’t like that the crowd is so inconsistent. One week on a weekend night, late, it is so crowded and crazy. A few weeks later, same night, same time it is dead. Hit or miss places are hard. I’d hate to travel someplace thinking I’m going to be amid many people dancing and having a blast, for only 5 people to be there! Drinks are very good and have a fair amount of liquor. A big plus with this place is the bartenders. Very attentive, quick, efficient, and polite despite the sometimes mob of people at the bar, very impressive. Bouncers are great too. There are multiple levels here, I’ve never been to the rooftop, we always went to the second floor.

Great, large space(apparently with multiple levels and an open-air rooftop, which I didn’t check out). Bar menu is pretty impressive; I had the lobster mac and cheese and it was quite good, though very creamy. Not a huge selection of beer on tap, but had some good happy hour specials, lots of TVs, and the bartenders were very nice. I’m a fan of this place.

Cute roofbar in NYC and by cute, I mean lots of cute guys are usually here. My girlfriends and I bar hopped one beautiful Saturday after brunch and this is where we ended and ate dinner. The ambiance is fun with a lot of space. It was comfortable for a rooftop bar on the first nice Saturday of Spring. The prices are reasonable for an NYC bar, we just had beers. As a dinner we split some appetizers… the artichoke dip was beyond my favorite!

My friends and I went to Midtown 1015 for brunch. I was a little hesitant at first. the place opened at 12 on Sunday and was empty. The menu was very limited. Three eggs any style, pancakes, french toast, hamburger. Hesitantly I ordered the thee eggs sunny side up. I was surprised at the quality of the food and service. Our waitress was very friendly. The eggs I had were cooked properly(I added salt and pepper). The hash browns were flavorful. It wasn’t very expensive($ 10 for my brunch I think). I would go back again.

I went here for my HS reunion. My night: Approach door, greeted by two friendly bouncers, asked for my ID, directed where to go(upstairs), hostess leads the way. From what I noticed there’s two bar areas, one on the main level and one directly above(slightly smaller). At the top, there was another bouncer near the«entry»(roped-off area for our gathering) and the bar was to the left and directly in front of me atop the stairs and across the floor was the coat check($ 3.00 req’d at time of coat deposit). Meeted and greeted familiar faces, and at the bar — I asked for a drink, was told there’s a minimum $ 20 purchase for cc’s. I didn’t want to give my cc and leave it there, so I told the bartender I’ll come back. Drinks: weak unless otherwise requested. It was nice he put his trust in me. I walked away, said some hello’s and then went back for a 2nd, and later 3rd drink. Upon getting the 3rd drink I paid, and then he said he wants to buy me a drink. :) My guess is that my returning to the bar after three unpaid drinks said a lot to Alex(my bartender). Before returning for my freebie I lathered my esophagus w/6 glasses of water and a little bit of dancing as the music whirred the floor. Ambience: dark, yet spiffy. modern minimal furniture. Nice view to the street. Bathrooms tend to fill up quickly, but were fairly clean and easy to maneuver in. Few flashing lights as the eve picks up. They played our HS hits during the event, but around 10pm they blasted their beats. I stayed till about 2:48am and had a good time. :) Definitely thinking about going back. :)

Ratchet as hell! Came on a Saturday night. Cool rooftop space, although the crowdedness detracted quite a bit. Saw a number of strangers making out furiously near the railing. Okay then. Moving inside, the music was so loud I could feel the bass thumping through my sternum. I spent some time watching a woman dancing by herself near the bar, and I guess she took the appreciative glances of a nearby man as an open invitation. Next thing I know they are making out furiously. Right. In the ladies room, the stall next to mine contained two pairs of feet, and the retching noises were all the explanation I needed. At least the girl has a good friend. On our way out, our eyes follow a trail of liquid on the sidewalk to a girl slumped against the wall. She’s unconsciously sitting in a puddle of her own urine. Lovely. Whether this is your idea of a good time or perhaps somewhere you want to avoid at all costs, to each his own. At the very least, you’re very likely to come out of your night with some memorable stories.

Came here with my coworkers after work. Happy hour specials are not great. $ 5 well drinks and nothing on beer or wine. I’m too old to be drinking well drinks. Has a roof top and second floor, so good place to meet up with people as there is lots of space. Not too much seating on second floor but lots of standing room. First floor is really noisy, hard to have a conversation. Overall high energy environment. I would choose other bars over this place(since there are so many in the area), buy not a bad spot perse.

I came to this place with a few friends for happy hour. The prices are decent for happy hour($ 4 for some beers, a few shots for $ 5). This place is pretty huge. There are three floors. The first floor has different happy hour specials than the the other floors which is interesting to note. Down there it is dark and pretty bleak. The middle floor has some couches and is pretty narrow. The top floor is the roof and is outdoors. It is beautiful up there with some tables and couches along the wall. The drinks are the most expensive up there, but they still have some deals. I found it easy to get drinks from downstairs and pour it into a plastic cup and bring it upstairs. The bartenders are pretty attentive and for the ambiance, you have to pay a matching price. Happy hour was until 8PM. The food that they served there was pretty good. The chicken tenders we ordered were piping hot and tender. The chips and dips were also great. Overall, a really nice outdoor bar. Could be a little better priced, and the staff a little more friendly, but can’t complain. Would come here again, during the summer.
