McDonald’s

Everything terrible. From start to finish. I ordered a Big Mac (no soft drink; no meal; just the burger)…I hear a shout from the back «6.00» I hear shouted back at me. NO, I’M SORRY. A BIG MAC COSTS 4.99…what are you playing at? FINALLY, someone who seems to be a manager makes her way to the counter (AFTER HER EMPLOYEES TRIED TO SELL ME A 6 DOLLAR BIG MAC). No shame. No accountability. This McDonalds is beyond bullshit.
Unbelievable for a location that is «Open 24 Hours.» Your best bet is mid-​afternoon when the REAL manager is there to be held accountable for the shitty staff. Will NOT be returning. I guess that’s what I get for imagining that McDonalds would be able to provide AT MINIMUM basic customer service. Instead I got hassled by employees who tried to charge me 6 DOLLARS for a big mac along with their surly/​not giving a fuck attitude. NO THANK YOU. What a waste of time and money.

I specifically asked for the sirloin burger with the lettuce and tomato option, but of course, was not given that. The incompetency of the people working in this location boggles the mind…

I hate this place, the workers act like they don’t care. It’s a 15 minute wait for mozzarella sticks (that’s NOT an exaggeration.) Customer service is terrible. I have never been to a restaurant where you can see that the workers don’t care about the customers. Most of the time they try to at least put on an act to make themselves look like they care. But you can see that they are just there to get paid and have fun. They probably really like their job, they get paid to hangout and have more fun, then actually work. They represent McDonald’s poorly and I really wish that corporate did something about it. I have hated this McDonald’s for years, but put up with it. Once in a blue moon I’ll give them a Second chance. That was until today.
I went in the restaurant in the middle of the afternoon, it was empty, only one woman there. I guess seeing how it was the middle of the afternoon, people didn’t mind to take the walk to go else where to get there food. Let me get to the point of my distain for this restaurant. Today was the last straw.
I went in to make a purchase. I was going to get some mozzarella sticks. I knew it would take 15 mins because they are notoriously slow. So there was one cashier open and she wasn’t taking anyone, but there was someone standing there waiting for there food. Looks like they ordered a lot. So there was 3 other workers standing right next to the cash register. RIGHT THERE! They are talking to a pregnant woman, who is behind the cash register and she is not in uniform. Why is there someone who is not on work-​duty behind the cash register CHILLING with the coworkers who are supposed to be working. I’m right next to the cash register. I’m standing there for 2 to 3 minutes. Waiting for these imbeciles to take my order. Funny thing is that one of the people talking to the pregnant lady, looked like the Manager. There was only females there. I guess the men was in the back cooking. although the place was practically empty so they couldn’t of been doing much. Although the people in the back is normally slow Beyond belief, I can’t even blame them for my experience today. BECAUSE I NEVER GOT TO ORDER! Apparently their conversation with someone is more important then the customer.
They saw me there. They looked at me and they saw me waiting to order, they knew I was ready, they saw me with my wallet out. They looked at me 3 times and continued to have there Conversation.
I just left.
I don’t know how this place is still open after all these years. This was not an isolated incident. They are always incompetent. Everyone there needs to be fired and replaced. Everyone from the Manager to the people who clean the bathroom. I worked in a restaurant before and it had more respect for the customers then this place shows.
1. Poor customer service.
2. Workers do not take their job seriously (just there for check and to have fun.)
3. 15 minute wait for mozzarella sticks on multiple occasions.
4. Rock Hard mozzarella sticks on multiple occasions.
5. Ice cream machine seems to always be down. For the past 8 YEARS, they never have Mcflurries or Milkshakes.
7. Nighttime crew, gives less of a fuck them the day time shift. How is that possible. How can you be MORE incompetent. If anything it should be an equal level of laziness.
8. Why is there a pregnant woman in a dress/​normal clothes behind the cash register standing next to the French fries? This is unsanitary and reinforces everything I have said so far. That alone proves my point.
9. Ignoring the customer = Losing Sales, but they don’t care ^_​^ As long as they get that pay check it’s whatever.
10. Why does the customer have to adapt to their incompetence? We are the customer, you work to serve us. We don’t wait for you to finished having a conversation to take care of us.
DO NOT EAT HERE!
Note: I love going to OTHER McDonald’s. I just think this one needs to be temporarily shut down and have ALL the workers completely replaced.

Gross McDonald’s. Very dirty, rundown, and there’s kids running around all over the place. The frech fries were too greasy and over-​cooked, and the cheeseburger had a piece of hair in it, absolutely disgusting and unsanitary. Won’t be coming back here.

Lack of a sense of urgency. It’s supposed to be fast food. not stand around for 10−15mins for my order when it’s slow food. Idk if it’s because they’re always understaffed or if they just don’t care and move slowly but it’s ridiculous. 1 star bc the staff has always been nice/​respectful. But aside from that it’s dingy, too slow, and often has an unsavory crowd.

Sticky floors. Juvenile delinquents. Free wifi. Crazy queues. The only time I go in here is either before CUNY class to get a chicken sandwich or after CUNY class to get a soda. They’ve got the mix-​your-​own soda machines but the diet coke syrup is always flat.
