Solid spot to go to after work and if you’re impatient, like myself to wait on those god awful lines that PA is known to have during rush hours. The bartender are nice. Bathrooms are across the hall which is a bummer because they are disgusting and lines can be super long. This spot compensates with their to-go drinks! Can’t get better than that.

I ordered the sliders and fries and they were completely inedible. The fries were shoestring and somehow combined the worst properties of undercooked and overcooked. Starchy, dense and dry yet without crispness. They also smelled horribly like sweat which I HOPE was just old oil and not something much worse. Onto the 3 sliders. Basic potato bun, quarter sized patty cooked to death with no juice to it at all. I sampled one and sent the whole plate back and had it removed from the bill.

If you need to go to a bar at a port authority you need to get a life.

Went here while waiting for my bus. Service was friendly, but really slow. We sat at s table instead of the bar; probably a mistake in hindsight because they were all very well tended to & looked like they were having s blast. Food was decent. Came here for the beer, so was pleasantly surprised that the food was good. Prices are fair. No bathroom; have to go to other side of that level. Bottom line, I’d come back, but only if there was room at the bar

Nice little Irish bar on the second floor of the Port Authority. Good spot to polish a few while waiting to catch your bus. Bartenders are pretty cool. Decent beer selection. I like the fact they carry PBR bottles! Rolling Rock too!

In-the-cut dive bar inside Port Authority that is good for decently priced drinks in the area if your bus is leaving within 20 minutes. There are, however, a few much cheaper dive bars in the blocks nearby if you have more than 45 minutes to spare.

If you are looking for a great bar to hang out in near port authority, you gotta check out this place. I was hanging out with my boyfriend all evening about to head over to our gate and decided to have one more drink before heading back home to Jersey. Geraldine is Amazing! She made delicious drinks! Not watered down where you feel like you gotta have 12 to even get a light buzz and not so strong where you feel you can make 3 drinks out of that one drink. She made them to absolute perfection! So good, that we almost missed our bus because we just had to have one more before leaving! Karaōke was going on which was pretty cool. Not sure if otherwise there is a jukebox or just an iPod playing. We had a great time and it was the perfect ending to an awesome night :) Katherine

Great spot to have a drink or alight meal. I stop here now and then with friends. This place has good seating and a warm ambiance. If your at the Port Authority and you have some time to kill I do recommend grabbing a drink here. There are no bathrooms but the Port Authority has many to make up for it. Drinks are fairly priced considering it is midtown NYC.

This was my first time inside of a bar in Port Authority, i know i know. what a surprise. Honestly i paid $ 5 for a bud light draft. what a sham. The place is basically a normal, dive bar that i would go back home. Its nothing special at all. I believe i saw someone with a dish of fries or something. Maybe they have happy hour? Anyway, its a quiet spot that would be nice for a quick drink while waiting to meet up with friends.(which is what i did =P)

Holy Shit did I have good time last night! I mean there are no more rugs to be cut at this place although the juke box has gone down hill since this internet BullSh*t started. It’s your kinda place to get down and have a good time also, best St Patrick’s party in town! I call this«My Little Manhattan Oasis» In the afternoons sometimes i spread my ny post on the bar top and read it from front to back and nobody interrupts my concentration. Oh and the staff I tells ya I love the staff and good conversation to be had by all. But honestly, not for nothing but would it kill them to put a restroom in there? See you again tonight!!!

Not a bad place to grab a couple while waiting for a bus, or a friend coming from the bus. The drinks are good, the pours are fair and the bartender was very courteous. It’s got that dark dive bar feel, and there are a few drunks, as well as homeless Port Authority denizens skulking around, but not a bad place to go.

Years gone by you would be mugged or attacked by a homeless man on your way to catch a bus, but today the building has cleared up and this is one of the great shining holes in the wall a good American pub with a blond busty Irish girls working the bar. Who would think up to a couple of years ago a women could work or walk in this building. After a long Stress week working and waiting to catch a bus this is the place to go

is it sad that the cleanest place in Port Authority is a bar? moreover, why did a cop show up right outside after a group of Unilocalers and their friends walk in? if you’ve got time to kill at Port Authority while waiting for a bus, this is a probably the best place to spend time at. local pub feel with a few basic taps(Bass, Guinness, Yuengling, Coors Light, etc), a dartboard, pool, and video golf. not too busy on a Saturday evening, and service was good. music was fun, they had one of the cable music channels playing oldies. not too loud, so you can just relax and chill. beers run you about $ 7 for a pint. I was expecting to pay more since you are in the worst of all worlds here — a transit hub in the middle of Manhattan, but whatevs.

What does one do while they are stuck waiting half an hour at Port Authority for a bus to New Jersey? They find a bar and drink, of course! McAnn’s is a decent pub smack in the middle of this giant bus terminal. They have a decent beer selection along with music playing, a dartboard and a golf game. It’s a nice, relaxing place to kick back and just hang out while waiting for your bus to arrive. It is not a place I would go out of my way of to visit unless I was heading somewhere via Port Authority, however, it’s not a terrible place either.

At least there is a decent bar to hit up in the hell hole known as the Port Authority. Not a bad spot to grab a few pints of beer while waiting for your bus. As we had over a half hour to kill before heading out to Medieval Times this was the closest and easiest spot to do a little pre-gaming. Dartboard, a few video games, 50’s-70’s music playing, friendly bartender, large bar area to sit around, and an ok selection of beers on tap — Bass, Guinness, Stella, etc. Beers run around $ 7-$ 8 a pint. Kind of reminds me of a slow quiet pub in the suburbs. No bathroom on the premises so make sure to take care of business across the hall before getting on your bus. Now onward to storm the castle in Dirty Jerzey!

I have to say — for a small hole-in-the-wall bar inside of Port Authority, this place is pretty good. It has some of the most friendliest bartenders who will know you by name if you come there often enough. Whenever the buses are delayed, I quickly go down to this place. I would rather sip on a Guinness than stand in line with obnoxious Central Jersey commuters who believe they should be driven around in Bentleys and can’t quite get over themselves. If you have to sit on a bus for more than 30 minutes, one thing you will quickly learn is remember to empty your bladder, because after 2 or 3 beers, you will be… «pissed» you didn’t ;-) This place has okay appetizers if you want a snack to cover up your alcohol breath before you come home to your spouse, as well.
