Not the best food or service. There was no background music so you could hear other people’s conversations and they could hear your’s too. Waiters were quite inattentive. Overall, it was just a miss.

Mediocre middle eastern food, below average service, no soap or paper towels in bathroom. No music playing in background, too many young hooligans eating here.

THEGOOD: The atmosphere here was nice, beautiful authentic décor, tiny but adorable place. THEBAD: But the food and service wasn’t so great. The food was mediocre, i think for any middle eastern dish special white sauce is highly necessary, but they never gave us any and the food ended up being extremely bland and dry, especially the Kofta. they gave us hot sauce, which didn’t go well with the good! THEUGLY: On top of that, the waiter never came by to see if our food was okay, or if we needed anything. She just gave us the food, and then when we were done, we had to get up from our seats and go to the counter and call for her to get the check. It was super quiet, kinda creepy. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, especially when there are so many better middle eastern restaurants around that location

I ordered from this place via Seamless. I had the salmon kebab platter with hummus & babaghanoush over garden salad. The food was good. My friend ordered the meat combo and he said it was really good. We both devoured our food. I would definitely go visit their restaurant(physical location) one day.

This place is really mediocre food(think grape leaves from a can). Moroccan food is supposed to be flavorful– this was just bland and sad. Service was really bad! Acted like they’re doing you the favor! BIGPASS

I ordered the chicken kebab combo platter today — got falafel, ½ rice and ½ salad. The food was pretty mediocre but good for the price. I usually get my chicken kebab lunch fix from Sahara’s, which is a couple bucks more expensive, but it’s definitely worth those extra bucks. The rice wasn’t tasty, somewhat stale, but everything else was fine. The chicken was well cooked, the falafel wasn’t the best I’ve had, but I never liked falafel that much anyway. Then there was the bits of salad on the side with the pickles. Meh. I paid extra to get two hot sauces on the side — those were par — not as spicy as I’d like it(like Mamoun’s). I will likely order from here when I want fast delivery though — they came on time(40 mins). It’s a LOT of food, so this is a good deal for those who have a bigger appetite. They also provide tahini sauce and two pieces of pita bread so you can make your own falafel sandwich. I can graze on this all day, but the calories from falafel will stack up quick.

Ordered a delivery. Lamb and cuscos and veg. The meat was ok. The veg, like the butters quash was cooked without peeling!!! I had to take every single one out and peel it before i ate it!!! Come on! The food was nothing special. Never again

I am being generous and giving it three stars but I’ll be honest I had way better afghan\moroccan food before. The place is pretty cool but the food tastes«okay.» The service is very slow and the prices are a bit higher than its worth.

Honestly some of the worst service I’ve received in a restaurant. Had to remind them twice for straws. Didn’t have salt pepper on the table. The side salads had NODRESSING! and when we asked for dressing they responded in a patronizing manner. Like it was ludicrous to ask for a salad to be dressed! Moroccan food was bland and sub par. Pasta was average. Burrito was somewhat decent. They messed up our order on top of it all. THENTHEYHADTHEAUDACITYTOCHARGEUSGRATUITYFOR A 4PERSONPARTY! Included it right into the bill. So disappointing. DONOTCOMEHERE!!! You’re better off eating street food.

Excellent food, loved it. Will recommend highly to anyone. Help was very cordial and knowledgeable. We ordered the Tajeen and it was aromatic and scrumptious. If you are looking for authentic middle eastern food try this at least one, you won’t be disappointed.

This restaurant is beautifully decorated and is usually packed. You’ll miss the store entrance if you’re not paying attention. The meat dishes are very delicious and they have vegetarian options for people who are not that crazy about meat. Also, just in case you went into a Moroccan restaurant but you were actually in the mood for Mexican, don’t worry! This restaurant also has great mexican food on their menu! Definitely going back again

I’ve never had individual order from Marrakesh(my only experience has been catering), so take that with a grain of salt when reading my review. Marrakesh is a family-owned restaurant that serves authentic Middle Eastern and North African dishes. The menu includes vegetarian options like couscous with seven vegetables and meat options like chicken and lamb kebabs. All my catering experiences with Marrakesh have been pleasant. The portions are large, food is decently tasty, and the delivery is always on time. My favorite items include Moroccan Couscous with Seven Vegetables, Chicken & Vegetable Kebabs, and Falafels. The Moroccan Couscous with Seven Vegetables has well-seasoned yellow couscous with seven different vegetables, including pumpkin, carrots, potatoes, garbanzo beans, and other root/starch chunks vegetables. Sometimes the couscous can be mushed into clumps though. The falafels from Marrakesh are beautifully green inside. Even though the exterior is not crispy, it’s sort of expected since this was a large catering order. Other than the slightly soggy exterior, the falafels had lots of flavor and I enjoyed them. Finally, the Chicken & Vegetable Kebabs came served over a bed of yellow rice with grilled chicken and squash. The squash was grilled really well.

I ordered a combination platter to go. I chose their falafel and hummus. While the hummus was just okay, they’re falafels were surprisingly very good! They were pretty crunchy, but the flavor was pretty good so I’m willing to overlook the fact that they were fried a bit too much.

Solid place with relative cheap food. Their mint tea is extremely yummy and a must-have. I’ve heard people usually order take out here, but we sat in the place. It’s underground with cute décor that makes it super cozy. I only took away one star for the fact that the wait is super long. Don’t come here if you are in a hurry! It apparently also serve Mexican food, which is really weird to me. Haven’t tried it, but Mexican food from a place called Marrakesh just doesn’t seem appealing to me.

The meal that I ordered sounded delicious when I read it on the menu. Lamb kebab platter with a side of rice and salad along with falafel and hummus… How can you go wrong with that order? Well, for starters you can go wrong by not seasoning it properly. The whole dish was bland and it felt like there was no salt or pepper on it. I doused everything in hot sauce just so I can get through it. And for about 16.00 it definitely wasn’t worth it. The lamb was chewy and the rice was bland and cold. Won’t be coming back here.

I was very impressed with this place. I was craving falafel and was looking for a place near work, and found this on Seamless. I opted for pick-up, and I definitely walked by the place twice. It’s hidden underneath a Mexican place that also starts with«M», so I did a double-take, and between a barbershop and a Thai place. You have to walk down these narrow stairs into a very tiny alley-way/entrance to the restaurant. It has a unique, traditional décor, and looked pretty big when I walked in. There were a bunch of different rooms with tables. I ordered the lunch special, where I got to make my own veggie pita sandwich — I selected falafel, hummus, and tabouleh(you only get to pick 3). They also give you a large 16oz soup and a drink, which is a fantastic deal! I got the lentil and spinach soup, and their mint tea(based on other Unilocal reviews). When I got back to the office and opened the bag, there was so much food(which explains why the price is a tad steep for lunch). The falafel sandwich was really tasty — full of flavor. I got extra hot sauce and they give you tahini sauce with it. There was a side of pita bread as well, and the soup was really good. It was simple lentil soup, but made to perfection. Their hot mint tea was too sweet for me, but still tasted delicious. Overall, great spot for lunch. Will definitely order from here again.

I love this place. Where else can you get halal Mexican, Italian, and Mediterranean food? I’ve been here about 3 times already within the past few months. It’s kind of hard to find; you might walk right past it without realizing that the stairs leads to this restaurant. In fact, i think their Mexican counterpart is Marriachi or something and many people don’t realize that it is the same place as Marrakesh. I’ve had the chicken kabob platter as well as the pesto pasta, and both were great. Their mint tea is delicious. They actually gave me free tea just because I loved it so much! Prices are fair and a good deal because you get larger portions than usual. The second time I went here, I came with a large group for my birthday(about 15 people), so it was chaotic. There wasn’t any room to move around, we were quite cramped, and service was pretty slow. So my suggestion is to not bring a large group here because there is simply not enough room. Other than that, the décor is beautiful and the ambiance is casual, slightly intimate. Check this place out, especially if you are someone who keeps halal. It is so hard to find halal food so give this a shot!

Been here twice, love the food. I actually live really close to this place, but never noticed it as it is 1 floor below street level. The decorations make the place look pretty authentic. There are huge mirrors on the ceiling. The main guy working there said this restaurant has been there for 10 – 15 years, which is pretty impressive. Got a Sandwich and a Plate. Prices seem a bit pricey compared to food carts, but quality of food is soooooo much better. And portions are pretty sizeable, so I feel like it’s totally worth it. I love the Kefta, which is lamb of some sort … the babaganosh is fantastic! Their falafels are also very good. The SPICY sauce here is excellent! It isn’t so spicy you cannot taste anything else, but it does have a lot of good flavor to it. The white sauce is also unique, I feel like it is much less mayo-ie than other food carts, which I like! It’s hard to describe the flavor, but it is a lot lighter They have a lot on the menu, but I’ve been so happy with the Kefta, I don’t know if I could try anything else! They also have Mexican food … I haven’t tried it, so I cannot comment … While I do love street food, this is easily my favorite halal restaurant thus far.
