Manny is the best! Ive been getting my haircut by him even before he opened the shop and will continue to. His level of professionalism is second to none and is always willing to give suggestions on new hairstyles for me to where I am never disappointed. He is a real class act and the shop is a throwback to what barber shops used to be and what they should be now.

Manny’s is truly the best barber for me. I’ve had him cutting my hair and I for nearly 2 years. What I like best about Manny is from the first time I sat in his chair to his recent of last Saturday — he continues to ask what I like and then get some recommendations based on his experience.
It is a combination of getting what you want and having someone offer advice with regards to your hairstyle length and overall look.
Appreciate the high quality customer service and most importantly the outcomes.

Have been chasing my barber around the tristate for 3 years in fear of trying someone new and getting a bad haircut. Read Manny’s reviews after walking past the shop and decided to give him a shot. All of the reviews are true — he asks your every little detail about how you want it cut, and threw in some recommendations. THIS DUDE CAN CUT. .. Plus there was not a 2 hour wait like my other barber. I called him up, he said to come by and 10 mins later I was in the chair getting a cut. Thank you Manny for the clean cut!

MANNY FOR PRESIDENT! This guy is THE MAN. Absolutely always gives a great cut but maybe more importantly, always funny and entertaining. Always enjoy our talks. Regarding the cut, expect salon quality at barber shop prices. I’ve introduced several friends to the shop and they’ve been going back for over a year now. Recently renovated shop with good music too. A true UES gem in a convenient location off Third Ave. Must go for your next cut.

This place will never let you down. I have been coming to him for over a year and referred my whole firehouse. He is very professional and treats customers well. Manny offers a shot of high end liquor after every haircut. Can’t go wrong with this place.

Best barber shop in the UES. I’ve been living here for about 4 years now and I’ve tried many different barbers. Once I found Manny, I never went to anyone else. The haircut he gives me is always perfect. The value is unmatched. And also, he’s a pretty cool guy.

Been living on the UES for three years, Manny is the only guy who I’v cut with who actually understood what it means to cut hair with a style as opposed to just shaving with a machine trimmer. He only used scissors and it looks like one out of a magazine. For 18 $ I challenge you to find anything comparable.

I live in Brooklyn. Why do I get my haircut on the Upper East Side? Because this place isn’t in Brooklyn.
Manny has been cutting my hair for over a year and has consistently given me the best haircut I’ve ever had. There’s a reason his customers have followed him to his new location here (myself included).
His attention to detail is beyond that of any barber I’ve been to. I’m super picky about my hair, and if you’re the same way you’ll be in good hands. I’ve seen his cuts on other people as well and they are all magazine-​quality sharp.
While I may have only had my haircut by Manny, knowing how he operates, his other barbers are top-​notch. He wouldn’t keep scrubs around his shop. At $ 16 a cut, you’re getting a fucking DEAL.
If it’s busy, do yourself the favor: wait.

I was referred to this barber shop (more specifically, I was referred to Manny) by a close friend when I move to the upper east side a few months ago. I have always been very particular about my barbers because my hair is very difficult to cut.
I knew immediately after my first haircut that I would never go to another barber as long as I live in this city. Manny consistently gives me the best haircut I have ever received and I have not hesitated to recommend him to any of my friends/​family in the area.
Whether you’re new to the city, looking for a new barber, or just passing through, you HAVE to check this place out. The combination of the friendly atmosphere, quality of the cut and of course the low price, makes this barber shop a must try!!!

Never been upset for a haircut here. At $ 15/​cut, you don’t have to take out a mortgage to keep yourself neat and clean. Worth checking out if you are in the area, as I know their competitors can be charging $ 25+.
Never had to wait too long either.
