I have worked with Judith for over 15 years– that’s right, she’s been doing this more than 10 years before there ever was an «air b-​n-​b»!! I have stayed in her places myself and had many of my business associates placed in her units for both short and long term stays since the 90’s.
We have always been handled with the utmost respect and personal attention and the value has been outstanding. She caters to the individual and has been able to find truly unique spots usually within blocks of my work assignments– truly saved the day on more than one occasion. I’ve stayed in upper west side condo’s with views of the river and even a loft in a recording studio (that was one of my favorites).
I do not hesitate to refer my friends and business associates to Manhattan Getaways.

I expressed interest in a few Manhattan condo/​loft/​flat for the 2011 – 2012 Holiday Season for myself and my son. The locations I wanted were all unavailable. I was then told that my request was unusual. The request was for a 2 bedroom location for myself and my 13 yr old, budget was quite large depending on location, preferably Manhattan, over 1500 sq ft, and above with a great kitchen and entertaining space so as I might host a Holiday dinner party for 6 – 10 friends maximum. After days of no response I wrote «I have not had a response from you if there are no properties to suit my needs, please advise as such so I may continue elsewhere.» The response was as follows «I represent people with private apartments and they are picky about who they rent to, obviously for security reasons and their peace of mind. For you to invite up to 12 extra people into their home for a party won’t settle well.» I responded that I found it to be insulting as it was to be a civilized dinner party and that this communication seemed very unprofessional and not to contact me again that I had found a property suiting my needs elsewhere. However, I was contacted with the following– «How you interpreted is up to you. I have no hosts willing to rent their apartment for use such as a gathering of people other than those who rented the place… or for a civilized dinner party. And to waste your time never recommending my services tells me you would have been problematic if we proceeded. Glad you found something. Judith»
You make the choice– just be aware that this Kitty has her claws out and clearly cannot cater to either high society or the general civilized population. RUDE!!! BTW there is a reason to let your PA make reservations for you!
