I purchased two pillows and inserts from the Broadway store 3 – 4 months ago. The quality is atrocious. They look like they’re 15 years old: a seam is ripping and the threads on the embroidered areas are frayed. This would be disappointing for an inexpensive product, so you can imagine my dismay being that I paid hundreds of dollars for them. This is even more upsetting considering I travel 50% of the time and barely sit on the couch where they’re positioned. The inserts are also very thin. I paid a similar price for silk velvet pillows from ABC home and they look brand new after 2 years. Major disappointment. 1 star for the French lady who helped me in the selection process. She was very sweet and helpful. EDIT: I just searched for the pillows online(Honey) and I paid $ 412 for pillows that I will probably have to throw away before the year is over.

Got a few cushions from the Broadway store today. I think the products are of good quality and the design is great, however I found out that the same product retails in Europe for 1⁄5 of what I paid. I understand there are shipping charges and other expenses to run a business. But charging 5x more? Simply absurd.

DIY window treatments, pillows and other home fabrics ready to use. I began buying at Madura during my first year of College in Boston and was so complemented on my window and pillows that when I moved to NYC I come back. I love it and my new apartment will look fantastic as soon as I put my new curtains up. The designs are french and extremely tasteful. I’m taking off one star because A) They don’t always continue the designs from year to year so if you need more pillows for your bigger couch you’ll have to mix and match. B) The ladies working in the NY store were not as knowledgeable or design-savvy as the Boston location(still helpful enough). I love it and am very happy and sometimes the sales are unreal.
