I stumbled upon this retail store in the Meatpacking District on a recent business trip to NYC. The small space is loaded with cool, colorful, custom pieces created by Italian business honcho, Jean Pigozzi, and his design team. The brand’s logo is a sort of evil bunny(almost rabid), which makes it fun and not too serious. The tshirts are all 100% pima cotton and so soft and the perfect thickness. The head holes are a nice size also. I hate tshirts that have too big of a head hole and make a shirt look sloppy, but also hate one that’s too tight and uncomfortable. The 5-star rating is largely in part to the girl, Marie, working the sales floor the day I visited. She was beyond pleasant. She was so knowledgeable about the brand and why the price points were a bit higher than other retailers($ 55 for a tshirt). If I know WHY I should pay $ 55 for a tshirt, I will pay $ 55. Marie had all the answers for my questions and truly sold me on my purchases. I now wear the Limo Land rabid bunny(or whatever the logo is) with fashion pride! I love retailers that are different than the rest. Limo Land truly is different! I’ll be back every time I visit NYC. Apparently, a multiple-story store is planned for the West Village(I think that’s the neighborhood). I can’t wait for that!

Although Limoland is catered to my male counterpart, I first feel in love with their soft pima cotton t-shirts, and silk lined hoodies(who doesn’t love a nice hoodie?) over a year ago. I am ecstatic that they have opened their U.S. flagship store here in New York City. Their eye-popping colour pallet is a stretch for most, and their busy prints even more so, but Limoland is worth investigating, you never know what you might find guys… and girls. The service was very pleasant within the small space, which even has Astroturf on the floors. I left the pop music, LED lights, and colour explosion happy and with a brand new cotton-canvas bag. Limoland: Colours and Cotton, what else do you need.
