These guys are just incredible. Throwing in food for free, dishing out super legit, fresh food at lunch, it is worth the wait, there is no other way to make it fresh.

SOOOOO GOOD! Must try. Had a platter = salad, rice, the choice of meat (I add $ 3 for chicken & lamb combo) and free soda or pita. Salad is fresh, meats are tender and best part is fluffy pita. Not crazy about their rice though… Normally line is super long but I got lucky (4 was waiting for their orders but first in line!).

This place is legit. I love the souvlaki platter here (both pork and chicken over rice with lemon juice and white sauce). Also try the meats over the greek salad if you’re watching carbs. They also have lamb (gyro) and chicken breast but I think it’s the same as other places. The souvlaki stands out. Good flavor and always moist. I’ll continue to go but the lines can sometimes be long. That’s how good they are though. Definitely try if you’re in the area.

The food is really solid, possibly 5 star. The food is fresh and flavorful. However their line management is atrocious.
Even a short line of only, say six or seven people will still take you a half an hour. While I think the guys running this stand are nice, they have no system and it just looks like chaos in there. They never write down the orders so they are constantly asking the people who have already ordered, «What’d you order again?» There doesn’t seem to be any agreement between the two as to who is taking the money or who is taking orders.
They need a third person in the cart; one for prep, one for the grill, and the third to manage orders and money.
Also, while I appreciate how ambitious their menu is, it’s too much for them to handle. The burgers and fries takes what is already a line that is as slow as pitch and turns it into a glacier. If you hear someone ahead of you ordering a burger, forget it, abandon the line and move, or resign yourself to spending the next forty-​five minutes breathing in the exhaust from the cart’s generator.

I knew I had to eat here when there were many, many food carts around and this was the only one with a line. After s bit of a wait I ordered 2 gyro’s and was not disappointed. The food was fresh and tasty and the service guys were fast and friendly. The Greek salads other patrons were ordering with choice of meat looked wonderful too.

Incredible. By far the best street chicken and lamb over rice I’ve ever had. I got double meat which was a LOT of food, would have been fine with the normal portion.

I’m not a huge food truck fan, it tends to really gross me out actually. However, this is the only food truck I will actually eat from. The line is a testament to how good the food actually is. The food is delicious, I feel like the truck is clean, and the food is fresh. If the line wasn’t so long every day, i’d probably be eating this every day.

At the Vendy Awards on Governor’s Island and the line for this place is ridiculous! That says a lot! This food truck is amazing! Everything is super fresh and tastes incredible! Definitely worth trying! Very reasonably priced and very authentic. My husband and I are fans! Check them out… you will not regret it!

Typically I would never give a food truck 5 stars but this is as good as it gets! As some others have mentioned, the greek salad is delicious and extremely fresh. The line can take a bit but it is worth it. Also, it’s worth mentioning that the guys that run the truck are very friendly.

SO good! Takes a little bit to get through the line but everything is really fresh when you get it and the meats are really good quality. I got a grilled chicken platter + lamb (only $ 3 extra AND came with a free drink). Run by a couple of nice guys. Definitely worth the wait in line.

The wait time is crazy I’m not gonna lie but it’s by far one of the best Greek foods I’ve had apart from taverna kyclades, the Greek salad is amazing and not to mention affordable! They have some really good flavors and is worth the wait. I recommend the Greek fries they are amazing, the Greek salad is delicious and the chicken or pork platters are both great but if you just want a snack you cannot go wrong with the pork or chicken souvlaki!

Spotted this cart out the window from my office and everyday I saw it had a substantial line, so figured it was worth a try. Arriving about 12:15 we found a line about 12 people deep… next thing we knew 30 minutes had passed, so not the quickest of lines. Probably need to arrive by noon for it to be somewhat quick.
They offer platters, salads and wraps. I opted for a lamb platter. The platter is served with salad, rice and your choice of meat. The salad was very tasty, the rice was OK, but kind of on the mushy side. The lamb was gyro sliced lamb and was good. It had a nice char from being thrown on the flattop to heat it up. Everything was covered with white sauce and hot sauce. The hot sauce is indeed spicy. The white sauce I thought would be more tzatziki like but it was more like a Halal cart white sauce and I could have used more of it.
Overall it was pleasant with some nice flavors and for only $ 8 it was a great deal. It’s a nice addition to the neighborhood; just arrive early to avoid a long wait.
