Got the room for $ 109 from HT app. Pros: location & price Cons: everything else. The furnishing and accessories were dated and have seen better days. I asked for a quiet room away from the elevator and noise. I ended up getting room 920, which was next to the elevator. Either I couldn’t communicate my requirements clearly or the front desk simply didn’t listen well and grossly incompetent. Room 920 had a weird layout. Bathroom faced the bed. So while you’re lying in bed, you could enjoy the lovely view of the toilet. The toilet itself was an interesting story, it’s at an angle, facing close to the tub than the door. TV was average size and not in the middle of the wall, so you’d have to turn to your right if you wanted to watch TV. Not all power outlets work. So good luck charging your phone! The window AC was on all the time, which made me cough when I sleep. Given the room was next to the elevator, I could hear everything. Needless to say, sleeping quality was horrible. The icing on the cake was that the house cleaning lady knocked on my door and entered my room while I was sleeping at 8:20AM. Boy they really wanted to get rid of you! Overall, it was a below average experience. I personally prefer its sister hotel next door, The Tuscany. Staff there is far more competent and willing to make an effort to ensure that you have a pleasant stay.

Annoyingly popular with up and coming young business and good looking folks. The staff is great. Very popular with event hosts as well; relegating non-event participants to the smaller area with the pool table. Charcuterie and cheese plate could use better cheeses but over all edible and reasonably priced. Ambiance is dark lounge chic. Decent wines by the glass choices. Overall a very good experience.

New ownership makes this a great place to meet friends after work on the east side. New York number 1 bartender Kevin makes extraordinary classic cocktails, the kitchen makes great small plates and you can even play pool. i was here on a Tuesday and Noah the magician showed me some great magic tricks!

I was so pleasantly surprised when I walked into this bar because from the outside it didn’t look like anything spectacular. However the interior is absolutely stunning. Even better, the food blew me away not only with its flavor but the generous portions. The flatbread pizza, the wings, and the calamari are some of the best I’ve had. The truffled French fries blew me away. Not to mention the bartender Kevin is extremely cute and friendly and sure to mix you up a drink that is not only tasty but will for sure get a nice buzz going. Definitely a hidden gem and so glad to have stumbled upon it. I would recommend anyone who finds themselves in Manhattan to pay this place a visit. There is also a pool table. 5 stars!

I went last night because I heard there was a magician. Had a few martinis and saw some really classy magic. The atmosphere was fun and sophisticated and the bar food was portioned well and was really fantastic. Possibly the best sliders I’ve had in my life. I’ll come back on anTuesday for sure.

Great upscale lounge/bar in the otherwise ‘wilderness’ between Midtown and Grand Central Terminal. Plenty of bar seats and cozy nooks for enjoying well-crafted and generously portioned drinks and small plates. And yes, two, independently working TVs, for keeping an eye on the game or at least the scores. Visit and enjoy
