This place reminds me of a bad airport bar with nothing but a turbo chef cooker. The bar is a mess and chaotic. Not worth revisiting given all NYC has to offer.

Staying in The Court Hotel, this place was perfect, as it’s attached to the hotel. It wasn’t very busy, but I was ok with that. I had the sirloin. Odd choice for this place, I agree, but it was very good. Highly recommended it. The hostess was kind & welcoming. I also recommend the bread pudding!

Seriously all points of horrible for this place save yourselves the agony and don’t bother. We came in around 6 on a Friday evening to be directed to a table that wasn’t even cleaned. The host who doubles as a bus boy did a half a** clean up attempt and brought two menus that looked like they were falling apart. We waited for almost 20 minutes and nobody even came to take our drink order. What’s worse is that we weren’t even given glasses of water. There were a lot of dirty tables that needed to be cleared and half the dining room was missing chairs. I was going to order the $ 250 burger with foie gras Plus it smells !!

After a long day exploring the city and going to an event at Barclay Stadium in Brooklyn, we were looking for a quick bite before retiring to our hotel room for the night. We came across this restaurant and popped in for a burger. We were greeted by a very friendly hostess Carolina, who explained that although they were ready to close in 10 minutes we were welcomed to order and eat something in the bar area. We felt like we would be imposing if we did and decided to order take out instead. She took her time going over the menu options and making sure we got exactly what we wanted. I really appreciated her attentiveness and eagerness to serve with out feeling rushed. I ordered the New York, New York Burger w cheddar cheese and a side of Bacon and my husband had their double burger w cheddar cheese and bacon. We also ordered one side of fries as Carolina advised us that it would be enough to share between the two of us. It was a short walk to our hotel and I was happy that when we went to eat our food it was still hot. I can’t stand eating cold food that was meant to be hot. The burgers were prepared exactly to our liking and were very juicy and tasty. The flavor was really on point! The fries were delicious as well and more than enough for both of us. We will be going back there for breakfast tomorrow with the hopes of getting the same excellent service and quality of food we received today. After all, good service is hard to find… Kudos to this restaurant and kudos to Carolina! Keep up the good work!!!

I came here for lunch with my friend during the work day and we were both pleasantly surprised at how delicious our burgers were! I don’t see the burger I ordered on their online menu but it had avocado and jalapeños on it(basically a Mexican burger) and it was cooked to perfection! A nice surprise was that pico de gallo was spread on the bottom of the incredibly fresh brioche bun, under the burger. I don’t treat myself to burgers too often but I am SO glad I chose to do so at this restaurant. The only issue I had with this place was how long it took for our burgers to come out, especially since we ordered them medium rare. We also didn’t order any appetizers and the burgers don’t come with any sides unless you choose to order something at an additional cost. We had to eat pretty quickly so that we’d get back to work in time and we had to chase down our waitress for the bill, who by the way never came over once to see how we were enjoying the food. If I was there after work and not in a rush I would have really enjoyed my experience, I’m just not sure this is a good lunch place during a work day. Good to know it’s right in the neighborhood though, could be a great after work spot!

Stopped in here for a quick bite because I had a «welcome drink» coupon from hotel. Ordered slider trio. 2 were… barely edible. the 3rd wasn’t at all. Asked for sriracha so I ate as much as I needed in order to not be hungry. But. I figured this was on me for choosing to eat at a low-end hotel facility. The trigger for this review: Bill came and they didn’t honor the $ 15 drink coupon due to glass of wine retailing at $ 18. Rather than take the $ 15 off, they offered me another drink for free. Um, I was leaving. [Coupon had been provided to server before ordering].

My husband and I are here on a Friday evening. It was not crowded and we were seated at a comfortable booth. We had the slider trio and a short rib sandwich! Both were very good and the truffle fries were delicious! The atmosphere was quiet but nothing really special. Service was provided by several different people and we had to flag them down when we needed drink refills or the check. Prices were reasonable. We would probably go back if we were staying in the area but wouldn’t make a special trip.

Burger was Amazing! Price was very reasonable. Onion rings are freshly made. Much better deal than Bare –Burger and much nicer place than Black-shack

My friend and I were walking by and decided to give them a try. We were really in the mood for finger food and their menu fit our craving and our wallets. They seated us right away and even offered the choice of an outdoor table. We opted to stay inside and away from the crowd. There were two large TV monitors tuned to different sports by us. Service was quick and friendly, our food was on point, the price was very reasonable(especially for midtown) It wasn’t until I went to the bathroom that I saw how deceptively big it was. All in all, we had a pleasant time.

Walked by this place a bunch of times and decided to give it a go during a lunch break. Atmosphere: the place is actually quite nicer then I anticipated. Pretty large inside or maybe it just looked that big because we were the only customers at that time. Beer: They had an OK beer list. I ordered a beer that fit my style and what do you know, they didn’t have it. I would think they would inform you if something on the menu wasn’t available. Food: the deal is great. I had three mix and match sliders for $ 12 which in midtown is pretty good. The problem with these were the bread to protein ratio. To me, they’re wasn’t enough stuff in between the buns. Good taste though which is a plus. Service: seemed friendly but I wouldn’t say he was any good. When we got our bill, we were charged for the beer that I didn’t receive. I wouldn’t mind coming here again with a larger group, but it’s not going to be at the top of my list

Honestly bummed. For a burger/slider spot, I wish I’d been warned: they have a selection of sliders but none of them are ground beef. Mostly chicken and fish. There were three burgers to choose from: the DC is a plain burger that you can get anywhere, the double burger is plain too with double meat(and double price) and the third burger is $ 250.00, more novelty than serious. They advertise«craft beers» but the beer list is not craft at all(Bud Light, Corona Extra and Stella) I had high hopes and wouldn’t have gone if I knew what I know now. Bummer.

Good place, design and calm. I didn’t tried beers but I tried the DC burger. It is good and cheap! I had french fried with parmesan, they were well garnished. But the most I enjoy was all the mini burgers I shared the 10 that they have on the menu. They have a large selection with taste from Asia to India with European one! I really recommend to tried them. Moreover the service is friendly and very helpful.

Beer & Buns is not a large restaurant but a very nice setup with tremendous burgers! I ordered the salmon, the crab, and the short rib. They were beautifully exhibited and they tasted delicious! We shared onion rings, sweet potato fries, and regular fries. All were hot, crunchy, and tasty. Would definitely recommend this spot for lunch or dinner!

The sliders lured us in — who wants a regular burger when you can have a variety of interesting small circle foods on mini buns and tiny toppings? Well, one of us wanted a regular burger — and it was pretty good. In fact, $ 7.50 in midtown at a sit yourself on a chair restaurant is a very good price. I had high hopes for the sliders — and they weren’t bad in any way, just breadier and less meaty than I thought they would be. The explanatory photos are a little deceiving re: portion size, but they were, as promised, made of food and we ate everything. Of the three I tried, I would probably do the Seoul Secret again. The Mediterranean Garden and Bollywood Bite weren’t bad, but I would probably try the Grouper or Southern Smack Down instead. Sides a’plenty…fries(sweet potato), fries(truffle parm), and o’rings with a few dipping sauces. The winner for me was sweet potato in the free ketchup, but the o’rings in the ranch sauce was pretty good too. Barely worth noting at all but still a generally amusing observation: The place mats are interesting in that they have a nice outline drawn where your beer goes as well as a place to put your phone… yet this place mat is optimized for the iPhone 5 and maybe the 6, but my 6 plus blew those dotted lines out of the water. Anyway, I’m full now. Nap?

It was pretty emptied by the time that me and my date got to the restaurant around 6ish. I asked our server, Tenzin to let us sit at the white leather booth. My date was looking on the menu for dark beer and our server was very suggestive and on point with the list of beers that they had available. Lol the most expensive burger on the menu is the one with real kobe beef for 250 bucks. Appetizer: Pulled Pork Quesadilla 5 Sliders: Seoul Secret(2), Southern Smack Down(2), Osaka Breeze(1) with Beer Battered Onion Rings Mmmmmm…the food was soooooo delicious and different flavor components stuffed in a mantou bun or onion brioche bun. This is a pretty chill spot for a Friday/Saturday night with friends or a date =P Definitely a must try so bookmark it to your list!

A new burger joint in Murray Hill, my coworkers and I decided to check it out for lunch. The menu overall had a selection of twelve types of sliders and appetizers at reasonable price. I did not get a chance to try the sliders or the $ 250 B&B Burger, made out of a combination of Kobe beef, foie gras, truffles, and Beluga caviar(sounds a bit excessive). We did order onion rings and the Fatty Chicken(deep fried chicken strips with spicy chili sauce), which were pretty good. For the main, I ordered D.C. White House, which was well flavored and was incredibly well priced for a 9 oz burger. The I nly complaint was that too much juice flowed out of the burger, causing a puddle on the plate and patty had a touch too much salt. They seem to have an awesome selection of beers. I want to try the sliders next time. The service was decent and staff was friendly, but the atmosphere had a modern décor. I was hoping for a more classic bar atmosphere, based on the sign and name of the restaurant.

When you think«beer and buns», do you think of a bar atmosphere? I do. That’s what I was expecting when my friends and I passed by. However, once we walked in, it was a whole different ballpark. It was actually the restaurant of a hotel. It was very, very quiet… with only a few people at the tables and the bar. At that point, we wanted something less intimate so we headed somewhere else. Later we were hungry and decided to return. There was slightly more people, but still pretty quiet. We were seated at a table but then request a booth. The booth was awkwardly placed. I’m short but I’ve never sat in a booth where my feet didn’t touch the floor. Their menu is mostly sliders and sides, with a few other dishes here and there. They have a great deal-three Sliders For $ 12 or Five Sliders For $ 17. I was excited when our waiter informed us that you can mix and match sliders! I chose: Seoul Secret-short ribs slow cooked with vegetables, fresh herbs, red wine, & korean beef sauce, served on a mantou bun Southern Smack Down-pulled pork shoulder marinated with fresh herbs, vegetables & japanese soy sauce, served on a mantou bun Bollywood Bite-grilled chicken thighs marinated with a tandoori indian herb & topped with spicy yogurt sauce, served on a brioche bun They were all pretty good and well-seasoned. The Southern Smack Down should have definitely been on a regular bun, not a mantou bun(which is similar to pork buns). I also wish they had more beef burger options. As a table, we also split the parmesan truffle fries and the lobster mac and cheese. I didn’t care for the mac, but the fries were awesome. The food, overall, was good but atmosphere does not fit the menu at all.

Affordable. Good beer selection. Clean location. Awesome waiters!(Even saw them running out after a customer to give her back the sunglasses she left behind.). Located conveniently in midtown, at a hotel, yet surprisingly not crazy busy. Something’s amiss… That something is the food. They have really fun choice of sliders, inspired by flavors around the world. However, at the end of the day, the food is only average. Fun flavor, but nothing that would knock your socks off. They have a $ 200 burger, which I didn’t try. I did try the $ 7.50 burger which was less than impressive. A pre-made patty with standard toppings. You have ketchup, mayo, and brown mustard… There are various sauces on the menu, such as chipotle mayo, which could have turned this ho-hum burger into something above average. I sorta regretted not ordering that. Fries were pretty delish. Conclusion: affordable place in midtown. Good beers. Fun sliders. Decent place for a group as long as you don’t have high expectations.

When i heard about the outrageous $ 200+ burger I wanted to come here! The menu looked amazing with Asian fusion flavors. I like the concept of sliders since you’re able to order a few and try different kinds. I’m a huge burger fanatic so I had to make my way on over. It’s located at the Court Hotel and pretty spacious with Tvs since the bf likes to watch hockey or what not. We ordered 5 sliders to share: Seoul secret– short rib on a white bun. Meat was a bit dry Bangkok dangerous– Shrimp, with a sweet and sour sauce. I liked this the most. Kuala — chicken breast, nothing that special Phuket fantasy: crab cake, I enjoyed it since I like crab Osaka breeZe– salmon, this was also ok The beer battered onion rings were nicely fried and fulfilled my fatty cravings. The fried pickles were ok, batter is too soft. Overall burgers are just ok.
