Tasty! Beautiful, diverse, fresh, healthy menu with the ability to make many items vegan. I went with one of the specials, a chickpea and bitter greens stew over some fantastic toast. It normally comes with an egg and cheese on top but you can easily order without. Friendly service and not too crowded on a Friday afternoon.

We really didn’t like this spot. The food is not good and it is pricey. Eataly is usually excellent but this place is a let down.

Absolutely delicious but too expensive. My gnocchi with mushrooms and fontina cheese was outstanding. The pasta is homemade. The $ 16 salad my dining companion ordered was the size of an appetizer salad and was definitely not worth the $, so make sure you inquire before you order.

My family and I choose Le Verdure after seeing the long wait times at some of the other Eataly restaurants. So glad we got the opportunity to eat here! The food was delicious. The pasta was perfectly made, the vegetables were fresh, and there was no meat which I enjoy being a vegetarian. There were so many different options and varieties of meals and the three we got were delicious. Amazing flavor. People should try this restaurant more!

I found myself at Eataly by accident, lured in by some attractive pastries I was determined not to eat. I then looked for the bathroom but when I came out, I stumbled across a variety of restaurants nestled in the middle of a store that had was a grocery store, meat and fish market, kitchen supply store, among others… It has a fresh and chic ambience. The place has a nice energy about it. The specials on the chalkboard of Le verdure caught my eye(you practically run into it as you come out of the restrooms). Roasted honey nut squash with kale, pumpkin seeds, cranberry, chestnuts drizzled with a creamy goat cheese sauce. It was so good, I ordered one more to go. I also had the gnocchi with chestnut and Brussel sprouts which was quite good. The chestnuts sweetened the dish to the point that I considered it my dessert. I highly recommend the honey nut squash special.

My favorite Eataly restaurant is La Pizza y La Pasta, but veggies-only restaurant La Verdure is a close second. The ingredients are seasonal and fresh, and it’s great to have a veggie-centric option. Some of my favorite dishes I’ve had here are an artichoke sandwich at lunch time, the seasonal pastas(the last one I had was a rich pesto lasagna), and the wild hive polenta. A plus is that the wait at La Verdure is usually not too bad and not as insane as some of the other Eataly joints. The biggest down is the food is over-priced for what it is, and there’s no ambiance given you’re in the middle of crowded Eataly.

I usually head straight to La Pizza & La Pasta if I’m grabbing dinner at Eataly but decided to try Le Verdure, their vegetarian restaurant. We noticed that every other table was getting the same incredible-looking dish yet couldn’t figure out what it was. A server caught our gaze and told us that it was the gnocchi. We ordered it, and it was delicious! The gnocchi actually reminded me more of polenta cakes and comes with figs, ricotta, and honey. Though it’s listed as an entrée, it was almost sweet enough to be a dessert. A lot of Le Verdure’s other attractively plated dishes looked equally tasty, and given that there’s usually no wait here, I’d love to come back for another light dinner.

I have tried Eataly a handful of times but this last visit really sealed the deal. Le Verdure is pretty incredible. Extremely fresh, organic, tasty vegetarian recipes that in a city with limited fresh veg options was all the more tastier. I had the Verdure(surprise) and it was really great. I also had the best tomato /mozzarella salad of my life. The cheese was salty and perfect and the heirloom tomatoes were absurdly fresh. I recommend.

We went to Le Verdure because I was with a vegetarian friend. I had some gnocchis. I am a huge fan of gnocchis and I was kind of disappointed with my meal. And I thought our final check was too pricey for what we had. To finish, I didn’t really enjoyed eating in the middle of a supermarket.

What can I say about a restaurant located in a supermarket? The food was pretty good. However, it was a it expensive considering the atmosphere. My biggest complaint was the service. The waiter was consistently too busy chatting with co-workers to do his job properly. However, my biggest complaint was when we requested some marinara sauce. The waiter said no problem, but then returned and said the kitchen only had enough sauce for the eggplant parmisian. This is the worst excuse for an Italian restaurant, especially one in a supermarket with jars of tomato sauce.

A little sanctuary in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Eataly, not to mention the city. Le Verdure is Eataly’s vegetarian restaurant but don’t let that stray you away — it is absolutely incredible and you won’t be missing meat in the least. With a daily specials board that always has a soup, salad, entrée and pasta of the day — they are always fabulous but its the tried and true menu that will keep you coming back for more. The fried cauliflower with caper and herb purée on top is stunning. I wouldn’t be surprised if most people have the though of licking this plate clean after its all gone. It may not sound super exciting but TRUST me, it is fabulous and after I had it the first time I immediately rushed over to Pinterest in hopes that a copy-cat recipe was up there(note: there wasnt). Another dish that is not to be missed is the gnocchi topped with roasted tomato. It’s not your typical tiny pillowy gnocchi. Rather, it is 3 squares(almost like polenta) filled with cheesy goodness. I’m practically drooling on my keyboard writing this as I reminisce on my experience here. GO! GO! GO!

Been here twice — both cause I like my veg and it can be the only place in Eataly with an open table. Feb 2015 sat at bar and had a fantastic cauliflower special — whole small head deep fried and topped with veg, capers, lemon. Wow! Husband had a gnocchi dish where the gnocchi were giant-sized, but quite tasty. Server was a delight. Wine was lovely though I can’t remember what it was, exactly. June 2015 — much more crowded in summer. At a table this time near near the congregation area for servers — so got bumped into a good bit and had to hear their inappropriate complaints about their jobs and customers. Pipe down, jerks! I had the«farrotto» which is like risotto but with farro. Very very flavorful with strong onion presence and thinly sliced asparagus. Daughter had pea asparagus gnocchi which was soooo green and quite tasty — gnocchi just the right texture and peas clearly very fresh. Worth a visit!

I was pretty disappointed with this place. First, as a vegetarian restaurant there weren’t many vegetable dishes. At the mozza restaurants in LA there are more vegetarian appetizers and sides on their menu than there were on this menu. I started with the mushroom and farro soup. It was good, not very special though. What was a killer though was that I ordered the special of the day which was vegetables in an asparagus broth. It was a $ 14 dish. I am not exaggerating, this is what I got: I baby carrot cut in half, 2 snap peas, a handful of fresh peas, an asparagus. I think there was literally $ 2 worth of veggies. Overall it was super disappointing.

Amazing all around meal at Le Verdure. It’s true what they say about this restaurant and Eataly in general — insanely fresh ingredients that taste like they were just flown in from Italy. We started with the burrata appetizer, served with toast brushed with olive oil. The cheese was so moist and bursting with juices. Sooo good, reminded me of giant mozzarella balls I had once tried in Rome. Artichoke was excellent as well, though not much«meat» to be scraped off as we were hoping for. Seasonal gnocchi dish was probably the best gnocchi I’ve had in a long while. Asparagus, peas and ricotta accompaniment. Soft and subtle, with just the right amount of richness in the sauce, but no one flavor was too overbearing. Melts in your mouth. White wine selection was reasonably priced; we chose a bottle that we were very pleased with. I will most definitely try to return ASAP, though braving the long lines and crowded, touristy atmosphere is definitely a bit of a downer. Oh well, that’s the price you pay for the Eataly experience!

This was such a fun place to get dinner. It is located within this huge mall like area of the rest of Eataly. Everything on the menu was extremely creative with truly beautiful presentation of the food. I ordered the salad with restaurant’s name which had purple cauliflower, butternut squash, broccoli rabe, asparagus, and a ton more vegetables. It was so filling, healthy, and delicious. My boyfriend ordered the gnocchi which was really uniquely prepared. everything was delicious and the service was amazingly quick.

Love the seasonality and variety of the menu! Mostly vegetarian, sometimes some dishes with egg and cheese, but no meat which is fine! Can be busy/crowded and closely set tables but the food is delicious, fresh and interesting. Good value too! Love their soups, bruschetta and frito misto!

I think an all Vegetable inspired restaurant is a great idea, especially for my long suffering vegetarian/vegan friends. We were going to wait for the Pizza & Pasta place, but a forty-minute wait and growling stomachs dictated otherwise. We started with some delicious complimentary bread followed by a special, Butternut squash«spaghettini» bruschetta. Thinly sliced butternut squash served like a spaghetti on top of two pieces of rustic bread with aged balsamic vinaigrette. I LOVED it– would order two next time. My girlfriend found the balsamic overpowering though, FYI. She had a seasonal autumn salad with fresh ricotta, which she loved, and I had some utterly excellent Gnocchi. We didn’t have drinks and I believe we made it out under $ 50. Only thing I didn’t enjoy was our table which was directly behind one of the doors and a biting cold breeze. They need to add an additional partition by check out! Next time I think we will wait for the bar!

Five stars just for the delicious bread and little bowl of olive oil sprinkled with just a little pepper. After a few slices, who had room for a salad? Good place to run into if you are near early and you want some simple vegan fare. You can do this place in a lunch hour if you hit it right. Some tables but sit at bar type seating area for quickest service. Recommend

I think a vegetable-centric restaurant is a great idea. I love vegetables, especially when they’re done right. Le Verdure is located somewhere in the middle of Eataly, it’s a trip trying to find it. Once you do though, there’s ample seating around the bar [bar service] and tables off to the side [waiter service]. I found a seat at the bar right away and the cashier/bartender was my server. He was nice enough but I didn’t feel like he went out of his way to help. They start you off with obviously really good bread, about 3 pieces, and olive oil. The bread has a really hard crust but the actual meat is soft and soaks up the olive oil pretty well. I started the meal with the«Carpaccio» di Funghi [$ 14] which is essentially thinly sliced crimini mushrooms with thinly shaved celery and crumbled gorgonzola cheese. It was nothing outstanding, it kind of reminded me of eating vegetables straight from a garden with the dirt still on. I guess this speaks to it’s freshness. The Farrotto con Piselli [$ 18] is fantastic in theory. It was a farro that was suppose to be reminiscent of a risotto, which it totally was. I dug the creaminess and the texture. I get that the dish highlights peas but it was a little too green for my taste and left me feeling a little green after. $ 38 in total for lunch, I think it could have definitely been spent elsewhere for a better meal. I haven’t tried the other places in Eataly besides La Birreria, which provides nice views of the city but is also overpriced.

I like to walk through Eataly when passing by. Sometimes there is room at the espresso bar, the cheese shop is fantastic, and I loved the wine shop(RIP). One afternoon after work we were walking through, and guess what? It wasn’t packed to the gills! We immediately sat for a glass of wine at Manzo and had a fantastic glass of Fontonafredda Nebbiolo, Langhe.(Who else has this and a wide selection of Barolo by the glass?) We realized Verdure was practically empty so we headed over to the bar there for another glass of wine. We ordered some food: Fried Artichokes with a spicy tomato sauce — Really nice. Fried correctly, not greasy in the slightest. Very light breading and only a little hint of spice in the sauce. The artichoke was still the showcase. Mushroom crepes — earthy, with lots of fresh herbs. The cream sauce was an accent not wet blanket. 10 out of 10. Polenta with mushrooms — creamy goodness. The food and service were excellent, I jus wish it wasn’t always so crowded.
