LaundryBar is simply the best. Not only are they timely and pleasant, but their customer service is outstanding. If your plans change, as mine always seem to, just send them a quick email or call (I’ve spoken to Eli, who is great.) and they’re willing to reschedule a pick-​up or delivery without a hint of inconvenience. Not to mention, my laundry always comes back fresh, clean, and perfectly folded. I definitely recommend LaundryBar. Give them a try.

I recently moved to the west village and not having laundry in my building scoped out the laundry mats, the closest one was vile, I didn’t want to touch the machines let alone have my clothes touch them. So I did some research and found a dry cleaners that does laundry with fantastic reviews but it’s a good schlep 8 blocks and being 100lbs soaking wet that was not appealing.
So I went online, I’ve used ladies who launder before and they are great but they return your clothes in a cardboard box every time, not so good for the environment.
I know these guy are a little more expensive but, the the 1 hour scheduling and knowing my laundry is not grouped with others is worth it!
I made my reservation online and filled in my preferences page and waited. They call when they’re here so if someone else is sleeping or your dog barks every time the buzzer goes off they save you that. Secondly, I was more than pleasantly surprised when I opened the door for the pick up to find a guy who looks like he fell out of a JCrew. He was beyond patient and sweet as I had over slept and needed to throw everything in a bag, he even held my puppy who was trying to escape.
My clothes came back wonderfully folded and not suction packed together underwear was in tissue paper and I had a new bag. Jcrew man let me know that they had gotten the one stain out so I should be all set, it def felt very personable and loved the results.
