I recently moved info the Gramercy area and was looking for a new primary care physician. After several failed attempts I walked into Dr Bishops office (on a whim because it’s across the street from my building) and scheduled an appointment. I honestly wasn’t expecting much due to my experiences thus far but Dr Bishop was phenomenal, 5 STARS! He is extremely knowledgable in all areas of medicine and exhibited the highest level of professionalism. My wife and I both found a new primary care doctor for life!

Dr. Bishop has been my doctor for several years now. I’m the type who will turn to herbs and supplements before going to the doctor, and Dr. Bishop has been very understanding and thoughtful in his proposal of solutions for my needs. Above all he shows true compassion for people, unlike other doctors in this city who see patients as atm machines and talk to you for 2 minutes before assigning arbitrary diagnoses and then billing big bucks. Yes, he sometimes runs a little late but he’s running around like a madman helping people all over the city… don’t give up on him, he won’t give up on you!

This guy never showed up for my wife’s scheduled and confirmed appointment today. When we arrived on time we were told he wasn’t even in the office yet. Waited 45 minutes, at which point another physician’s assistant (this guy doesn’t even have any of his own staff in the office) said he would definitely be there in 15 minutes. Waited 20 minutes, no one knew where he was. So we left. Never heard from Bishop. Unprofessional, not recommended.
