This place gets one star because I have to give it something. Clothes are okay — some nice things amongst the usual offerings.
But the customer service was appalling — having to interrupt conversations between staff to ask for assistance, having staff just wander off mid sentence never to be seen again, having one person on registers while five people chatted behind the line ignoring the one staff member working (and asking for help).
It was too much! The staff might follow a script (welcome, thanks for shopping) but they don’t actually provide any level of customer service. This seems to be a trend here but this was worse than anything I’ve experienced.
It must be hard when customers want to spend money and interrupt your socialising.

This store is awesome. They greeted me at the door all smiles and willing to help. Their associates were so helpful in the shopping process they get an A++ for customer service. The atmosphere in this store makes you want to shop forever. It is so inviting. And the sales are incredible. Everything I bought was buy one get the second item 50% off. And then after my purchase I recieved coupons for my next purchase. Their prices were reasonable. And their clothes are very good quality. If you want personal attention, great sales and clothes that will flatter you this is the place to come.

I came here since I had to exchange a purchase I had made prior at a Jersey store. I was wowed from the minute I walked into the store since it was so welcoming and organized. I found a couple of employees and I explained my issue and right away helped me with a big smile and were very patient with me selecting something else.
They were very friendly and even offered some of the items they prefer without being pushy.
I really like how the store is step up and their fitting room has a very high end feeling to it.
I will be coming back.

I’ve been to the LB on 34^th Street a few times since they reopened. I like the fact that they have a large selection of items (you’ll usually find anything in the mailers there in stock), but recently I needed a plain black work suit. I found the blazer — fit great, price was ok — but I was having problems finding pants to match. I asked one of the women who worked there, but she wasn’t able to tell me exactly which pants went with the blazer — because it’s separates, not suiting. So it took us a bit to find the right pants to match.
When I went to pay, the guy behind the register was friendly but didn’t exactly seem to know what he was doing. He charged my debit card 3 times… and credited it once. When I discovered the error, I went back in, only to be told «We only show it hitting once. Call your bank.» So screw me. I called the bank right then and there, who had to credit my account after speaking with 2 different people.
So…maybe don’t pay by debit next time.

Souvent quand on fait au delà de la taille 44 il y a 2 grands choix possibles: des vêtements cheap mal coupés qu’on trouve principalement en ligne et du très haut de gamme qui fait un peu mémé (par ex on né trouve pas de pantalon en dessous de ⁴⁰⁰⁄₅₀₀ €) mais au Etats-​unis ils ont Lane Bryant !
Ce n’est pas du bas de gamme et ce n’est pas non plus un luxe que d’y faire les boutiques.
Ca commence à la taille ⁴⁶⁄₄₈ pour finir au 58 il me semble.
Le modèles sont faits pour les femmes qui ont des formes puisque directement confectionnés et testés sur elles. Les jeans coûtent entre 70 et 150 euros et sont très bien coupés, la lingerie également et il y a du choix.
Mais le gros point positif de cette boutique ce sont les vendeuses qui sont de bons conseils et vraiment agréables, je n’en revenais pas !
Du coup je suis sortie de la boutique les bras bien chargés !
Et puis petite parenthèse qui fait du bien, qu’est-ce que c’est cool que de devoir prendre la plus petite taille quand habituellement il me faut la plus grande, voire pire je né trouve rien à ma taille en boutique… Je sais c’est con mais ça fait un bien fou !!!
Si vous passez par NYC ou même si vous allez aux USA allez y faire un tour vous en ressortirez ravie !

Excellent customer service. They are helpful, patient and offer tons of guidance. They are very good at figuring out your size and what looks appriopriate and make you feel great about how you look.
The store is clean, organized and comfortable. There was a big couch in the dressing room which added a nice touch. The dressing room had interesting lights. You could actually adjust them for brightness and day/​night etc.
I’d definitely recommend this location and chain in general for woman.

The customer service in this store is just amazing. I am a very picky person when it comes to clothes. The ladies were all very patient with me and made a ton of suggestions. When I found the perfect dress they were complimentary, helpful and made me feel great about myself. This will be my go to location from now on! I wish every store had their customer service!!!

I go here every few months, and am never unhappy with the service here. Even if I don’t find something I like on that particular trip, the sales associates are always attentive and helpful, but not overly pointed/​annoying. (Which I really appreciate.) They’re always good about pointing out sales and promotions that are helpful. And I’m pretty sure they have a good memory too, and want to do right by their regulars. The LB in Downtown Brooklyn is pretty good too, but this has been and will continue to be my go-​to location in the city.

Be Careful — If you use a credit card, they ask you to punch in your Social Security Number. Warning — look what happened to Target. By disclosing you Social Security Number you are leaving yourself open to identity theft. I was reluctant but it is the way their system is set up. Shame on them. I would not shop their again until they have changed their system. I am writing to the CEO and informing Lane Bryant if there is any problems because of this request I will hold them financial responsible. DON’T GIVE YOU YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER.

The sales staff here is some of the best I’ve encountered at a LB. Great selection, very helpful.

A recently opened outpost for plus-​size fashions, and the brand’s only one in Midtown, the LB is a huge improvement over its predecessor. The staff is professional and friendly, and the store itself is stylishly designed.
There’s a upper level devoted to Cacique, LB’s line of underwear, bras, and loungewear. The area is a bit cramped, but there’s seating for significant others whose interest in lingerie doesn’t include actually shopping for it.
On the main level is an area devoted to workout clothes, and another given over to jeans. The displays look sharp and stock the full range of sizes.
The usual criticisms of LB are high prices and cheap fabrics. You may not love the brand’s design ethos (which tends toward the loud), but there are enough basics that every curvy girl can find something worthwhile.
