Had a latte — it was good. My friend had a cup of coffee — it was very good. Honestly, however, I don’t get the fuss for this place(there are often lines during the week). The latte was good but just as good as most Manhattan/brownstone B’lyn/ Jersey City coffee joints. I’m thinking people just like drinking out of the pretty cups. Chairs are kinda uncomfortable.

EXCELLENT cappuccino paired with an amazingly decadent gluten free pastry. Oh yes, this is a serious coffee joint.

I’m so surprised this location of La Colombe has so little reviews. It’s actually my favorite location of La Colombe, for a variety of reasons. It’s closer to my office than the Soho branch, it’s huge — so you never have to worry about finding a spot to sit and do some work, and there’s never a long line for coffee. I’d say the coffee quality is the same as the other locations, but I think there is a bit more variety in snacks and noms. I highly recommend La Colombe if you’re in the area and need a quick coffee fix. It’s definitely better than the other places that I like to call the Coffee Wasteland that is the neighborhood around my office.

Stopped by this coffee shop after it was featured on . As usual, we were not led astray! The coffee was lovely, the hot chocolate(pictured) was beautiful. I must say, this is a gem but if you’re like me, note that the coffee – and especially hot chocolate – will be a bit milky for your taste. I am sensitive to overly milky espresso drinks, so it may not bother your average coffee drinker. Service was fine, helpful but not overly friendly. Pastries looked fabulous as well – I’d certainly come back!

Yeah, the coffee is great, but the service is a bit lacking and food ordering is confusing. They have sandwiches on display but you have to go to the fridge to get them, and there’s no list describing what they are. Which would have been nice while I was waiting 15 minutes for 1 cup of coffee. They also won’t heat the food up for you. And everyone uses the same spoons to stir their coffee? You might want to put up a sign explaining this unusual thing.

Only three stars for lacking in customer service and size/cost. Descriptions below: — Employee at the register seemed annoyed that he had to interact to other humans, barely said anything. Sorry, I just wanted a cup of Joe. — Not being a regular, I asked for a large. Didn’t know they didn’t have a large. Found out after I paid & was given a small cup. Wouldn’t been nice to know they don’t have a large. This size is almost the same price as a «Venti» 20oz coffee at coffee competitors. — Didn’t know if what they had out by the sugar was milk, half & half, skim, soy? These things should be labeled! Just poured some and got the hell out in irritation. — line seems to formulate very quickly. Pluses: — great tasting roasts — good pastry selection — they place your beverage on a nicely presented bar with a silver spoon, saucer, and assortment of sugars(not milks) to alter to your satisfaction. Probably won’t return that often LaColombe. I can be in and out of Starbucks in 60 seconds. Time, cost efficiency and convenience are precious.

Ok I love this place so much! — The coffee drinks have all been amazing. Specifically they make the best Americanos and I definitely indulge in an almond latte now and then — There’s usually a barista who runs the register in the weekday mornings who is amazing. My first time there, I was carrying a yoga mat and she mentioned that she was in training to become a yoga teacher. Super quick chat but definitely appreciated a little friendly interaction on a cold Monday morning — Though some would disagree, the lack of wifi is refreshing. It definitely impacts the environment. If you need it, there are at least three coffee shops in the vicinity with access to the interwebs.

Based on today’s experience. Not friendly crew today, well I shouldn’t say«crew» it was just the one guy! Wasn’t busy and he rushed my order with out me finishing. I I normally come every morning before work with out a problem. I hope that today was just a fluke. all in all this place has great coffee. The service maybe a hit or miss depending who is there. But j doubt they care about any negative reviews since this is a well known coffee shop and business is swell.

This is by far my favorite coffee shop in NYC. Their coffee is really delicious(I love the beans from Columbia!) and their baristas are skilled in pouring the perfect flat white. Also, if you are looking for a treat, their chocolate chip cookie is heavenly. Not to mention, the interior space is really nice. I wish they had wifi; regardless, I sometimes set up shop and use my hot spot. I definitely give them 5 stars!

A chill coffee oasis, with proper espresso drinks and tasty baked goods. Interesting interior, felt like a corner bank perhaps, but nicely transformed with lots of seating and beautiful bright windows. Whether for a light coffee break or a productive heads down afternoon, a worthy destination.

The iced coffee comes with a shot of espresso-how genius. Without telling you the specifics on what’s so special about this place, to avoid what we all hate(it no longer being that); all I’ll say is that it’s rare to find a true little oasis in Manhattan, where you’re not a linebacker plowing through people to get where you wanna be.

PROS: + Coffee is good and they make their own homemade almond milk. + The place is actually pretty relaxing because they don’t have wifi. So people aren’t all plugged up to devices and pounding keyboards. The joint is full of people looking each other int he eye and making real conversations. It’s wonderful. + The shop is clean and simple and modern. It feels fresh inside. CONS: + They don’t have tea or juice or anything other than coffee and water. So when your out-of-town business guest comes in and you«go out for coffee» you better make sure that they drink coffee and that they weren’t planning of grabbing a hot tea. + No wifi & I didn’t see any outlets to charge devices.

Yes! So glad they have this location close to where I stay. Now I can have flavor-blasted crack coffee every morning! Seriously, you can’t go to Starbucks after drinking their coffee. It’s so rich, smooth and CREAMY! I never have to add cream or sugar to my Americano here because they always make it right~ not bitter and burnt-tasting. I also recommend trying their lattes– creamy steamed milk + creamy espresso = unnaturally addicting. There aren’t any menus but the baristas are so nice and knowledgeable, they can help you figure out what you want or make you whatever you come up with. The interior is also very bright and spacious! Even when it’s hard to find seating in the morning, you can still take your coffee to one of the large stand-up tables if not to-go. The lines can get long but they move very very fast. If you plan on doing work here, there isn’t any wifi. Kind of a bummer but you could always read a book or stare off into the distance.

Dropped by here for the first time today, excited for a cup of coffee. My husband had too much caffeine today, and as a vocalist I have to limit my caffeine intake, so I decided to just order a «small cup of decaf». I waited in a long line where a frantic barista was taking orders. I asked for a decaf coffee and he answered that they could do a decaf Americano, if that’s OK. I said sure as he barely waited for my reply before moving to the next person. I got to the front of the line where I was shocked to be charged $ 4. For a small decaf! There were no signs or menus up so, chagrined, I assumed it was the normal price. I didn’t realize a normal cup is $ 2.50 until the man behind me was rung up. To top it off, the man at the register lectured me about ordering decaf and showed me his«death before decaf«tattoo. Sorry, dude, didn’t want to call you out, but what a crappy experience. Apparently they will charge you for four shots of decaf espresso, be warned. Two stars because the coffee was actually good, but not worth the episode.

Interesting place. I appreciate the open space, it’s great for doing some reading. And the tea is great, but they should have more honey to go around. I brought some to my table to put in my tea, but one of the baristas came and took it back before I could use it. Also, I don’t understand why this place doesn’t have wifi. makes it hard to do any work online. Please make wifi available, and people will stay, order more coffee and croissant.

Excellent space for meeting and work. I needed a coffee shop to meet with a client and La Colombe Hudson exceeded my expectations. It’s quiet, spacious and has adequate seating for solo sippers and group socials. The atmosphere, ambiance and product are quality. I ordered hot cocoa and to my delightful surprise, it came with a feather decorated in the froth. The people are kind and have a very graceful demeanor. It feels good to be here and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to get together and get work done.

This place has very good coffee. Apparently there are a handful of other locations, but I’ve never been to any of them. This one just opened recently and is a great addition to the neighborhood, where the only other option is really Starbucks(or Dunkin, if you go that way). It’s a cavernous, minimalist space with a very open design and plenty of seating. I paid $ 3.50 for what appears to be an 8oz iced coffee which, to me, is expensive. I watched them fill it about ¾ full and place it on the counter in front of the barista. I was delighted when she topped it off with a shot of espresso. Quelle surprise! It was still a little less coffee than I usually like, but with the extra shot, I’m still buzzing nicely and the coffee was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended.

Okay I came back — I’m not sure if it’s because of the first week phase or lack of menu, but now my Iced Latte was($ 4). An extremely reasonable price. Again great service, and now more people are showing up.

A new café opening up in my work hood! It’s Christmas in September! Really good coffee and I love the design of the café, very clean looking and simple. I also love that they have pastries for my morning fix, plus the café is pretty big with lots of seating, which is important in this area! My plain croissant was buttery goodness and yummy for $ 2.50.
