You can’t go wrong with their teas. The bosses are the coolest and the most friendly. My favorite Kung Fu Tea store by far!

Passion fruit green tea is so good! Always tempting to get a large– but gotta stick to mediums. The only thing I’d say is that this is way too expensive bubble tea… I’ve had great bubble tea in Flushing and even upstate NY for ~$ 2

I LOVE the bubbles here. Really great texture and great tea selection. I would definitely recommend it! I’m from California where we have an extremely wide selection of bubble teas and this place is definitely on par.

St. Mark’s Place has got to have some of the most delicious places to grub at and this spot is no exception. As with any decent bubble tea café, there is a huge selection. I thought it was neat that they ask how much sugar you want in it: 100% to 50% to 0%(and in between). I chose 70% sugar for my hot taro boba and it was perfect! The taro boba also did not taste artificial at all and actually had a more earthy tone, just like an authentic steeped tea with real tea leaves. How they extracted that from taro, I’m not sure… But I know for a fact I’ll be coming back again!

I liked the boba here. My friend who is a boba connoisseur also liked her drink. I would come back. FINALRATING: 3.75

This is great bubble tea! I highly recommend the matcha bubble tea. It’s a great mid-afternoon boost without the jitteriness or difficulty sleeping that late afternoon coffee can induce in some people.

Being that this place is in the heart of St. Marks and that it’s opened until 11:00PM, there’s a lot of foot traffic in this particular KFT. My friends and I came here to get our bubble tea fix after a round of Artichoke’s Pizza. My friend recommended me the Oreo Milk Tea. I had mine with 50% sugar and bubbles and it sure didn’t disappoint. The bubbles in my opinion, had a weird aftertaste to them though. Other than that, I really enjoyed my drink and it was interesting to try crushed Oreos with my bubble tea as this is the only place I know of that offers it. Our drinks took about 5 minutes to prepare. A little long on the wait time but that’s pretty much understandable because there were only 2 employees making drinks and a few customers ahead of us. The venue was clean and there was an ample amount of seating. The staff were friendly and courteous and overall, I really enjoyed my time here.

Tried to order their taro slush that was supposed to be so good. Unfortunately, their«slush machine» was broken. Gtfo of here. You don’t have a working blender? I think they’re just too lazy to clean it. Got the oreo milk tea and wasn’t that good. I wouldn’t recommend this place for both the poor service and the less than mediocre taste.

After ending my long-term(yet on and off relationship) with a certain other bubble tea spot nearby *coughcoughTKETTLEcoughcough,* I needed to find another bubble tea spot to indulge in my random, yet intense need for boba whenever I find myself in this area. I’ve been consistently going here recently since my bubble tea cravings hit a sudden high once again. At one point, I didn’t have bubble tea for several weeks but I blame this place for rekindling that bubble tea flame in me. They’ve never let me down whenever I go for my go-to flavors with is the Milk Tea, Oreo Milk Tea, and sometimes Earl Grey Milk Tea. I would try their other flavors, but what can I say… I’m a milk tea person when it comes to my bubble tea! I don’t like how certain spots put too much sugar or water down their drinks,(*side eyes on that place that should not be named) so I really appreciate the option of lessening the sugar and/or the ice in the drink at this spot. They’re also very quick to make their drinks so I don’t have to worry about waiting long for my drink. The place isn’t that big or too small, but for a bubble tea place I feel like the size is just right. It’s a nice place to sit down and relax a bit while enjoying their free wi-fi. I seem to have developed an odd tendency to drink bubble tea before drinking or eating in the area. Whoops. Thanks for satisfying my bubble tea needs!

I am amazed at how many unique flavors they have here! The lemonade punch flavors are on my list of drinks to try in the future. They also offer more than usual boba house places, such as different kinds of jelly, bubbles and pudding. Fast, friendly service and clean environment!

Pretty damn good drinks for a hot summer day! We tried the grapefruit yogurt which was very yummy and a mango slush with jelly… also very tasty! Total $ 8 for two drinks

Given my recent change in diet avoiding sugars, it’s been incredibly hard to find places that really mean«no sugar» when they say no sugar. My last trip to Coco tea landed me a milk tea where by «no sugar» they mean«no additional sugar» and a headache, so I was pleasantly surprised to find that Kung fu tea actually does offer a real sugar free option. Granted yes, there’s the natural sugars in milk, but if you gotta cheat this is a fantastically tasty option, especially when their oolong tea is mmmmm so good!

Ambiance: 4⁄5 inside A cute, fun little place in a below-street level location with a retro«modern» feel and a small. Outside, they had a sorely underutilized courtyard with a few benches. I would definitely have carried over the seating style inside to this area and doubled their amount of seating, but maybe they feel they don’t need it. Still, some plants or something. The tea: 4⁄5 I got a peach oolong icea tea with tapioca pearls. I felt like the tea could have used a *tiny* bit more strength but that aside, it was fantastic. They flavor the peach oolong with peach jam and there are actual chunks of peach mixed in the bottom with your boba pearls. So tasty, and the large was *large* for the price. Customer service: 4⁄5 Prompt, drink was made quickly and they use a sealer machine to put a «lid» on it you stab your straw into, so no spills for clumsy people like me.

Your classic hole in the wall boba café with wifi, soft atmosphere and deserts. Had the lychee pump which was 9⁄10. The tea was made with a great balance between sweet and strong. The best time to avoid traffic is early afternoon during the weekdays. Best get there early!

I LOVE Kung Fu Tea! One of my go-to spots in East Village for milk tea. They offer the usual green or black tea base with a variety of flavors, as well as fruity teas, espresso drinks, and smoothies. Their taro milk tea and oreo milk teas with grass jelly are my typical orders. SO creamy yet you still detect the taste of the tea. Their bubbles are always soft and they are very generous with all the additions, such as the grass jelly. You can adjust the sugar levels, ice levels, or order it hot as in most tea shops and they are fairly priced. Can’t go wrong with KFT!

Really small almost hole in the wall type of spot on saint marks place. There are several competing shops within a stones throw from here, but you really can’t go wrong with any of them. This particular spot accepts credit cards and they don’t put too much ice in their drinks. For the most part, I felt like I was able to suck up most of the bobba at the end of my drink without having to navigate around piles and piles of ice. If you have no idea what to order if you’re a newbie, go with a taro milk tea. I personally am more of a mango green tea guy.

My friend recommended this place to me on our trip to New York City saying it’s «hands down the best bubble tea» he has ever had. And I agree. I went in on a Sunday after and got the milk tea first and then a coconut milk tea. The taste is phenomenal and if you think it’s too sugary than they also offer the option to change the percentage of sugar you want to put into your drink. The bubbles were perfect, chewy and had a sugary taste to them. The customer service here was also great. The drinks came out pretty quick, they offer free wifi, and they allowed us to go into the«employee’s only» bathroom. Finally, the store was relatively clean and there was plenty of seating space on the day we visited. Pro: fast service, price($ 4.50 for a large), free wifi Con: none I would recommend this place to my friends.

Kung Fu Tea is really consistent no matter, which location you attend! Each different story probably loose a star or gains one for service! The bubble milk tea is my favorite to get at Kung Fu Tea! The prices are high compared to asian bakery but it not like I drink it everyday so it a good treat!

The boba was kind of hard and chewy. The milk tea was pretty good to drink. Kung Fu makes a decent boba milk tea but not my favorite. The drinks are heavier on the milk than real tea flavor.

Another bubble tea place to join the ranks on the busy St. Marks place. Cash only, $ 3.50 for a milk tea with one topping. My go-to drinks are the Golden Oolong Milk Tea and the Kung Fu Green Milk Tea, both of which are $ 3.50 for a medium with a topping. My order was perfect without any adjustments. Not overly sweet with perfectly chewy tapioca, the Golden Oolong Milk Tea was the best choice to bring with me to dinner. Honestly, one of the better milk tea shops I’ve been to on the east coast!
