I was not impressed by the limited selection of desserts. My expectations for a place called Koffecake was to have more dessert choices. We came here after having a nice lunch with family that was in town. I was in the mood for something sweet, and I would have ordered dessert, but there weren’t a lot of options. So I just stuck with a basic iced coffee.

If your a native new Yorker you know that Levaine Bakery has the best cookie in the city. Yet this place has a pillow cookie that’s equally as good. For $ 4 try the chocolate chip or the double chocolate pillow cookies. Their warm and gooey and have the same texture as a levaine. I have yet to try the lava cake but Ive heard it’s pretty good too.

Solely on a white chocolate blueberry muffin and a coffee. Everything looks amazing here but the muffin was to die for. I don’t know what it was but it melted in my mouth. I’m bringing the other half here just to get a muffin.

The Nutella latte was a tad too sweet for me taste. Service was decent. I wish they had a curtain on the door so I didn’t feel a draft every time everyone came in. The place was cozy but not ideal for working on a laptop. It’s more of a hang out for 30 minutes type of place.

The awful triple chocolate pillow is an absurd $ 4.50, so I won’t be back to try the nutella shake.
FYI their previous address («26^th St 6^th Ave») caused no neighborhood for years, so I fixed that

Not impressed (and my bar isn’t that high). While the staff is nice enough, walking out with a sticky bun, a muffin, and a receipt for $ 9, I would have expected more than undercooked dough in both pastries and pecans that had the texture of granola.
It’s too bad because I had been eyeing the place for so long on my way to/from work and finally walked in excited to try the place and walked away sorely disappointed.

I really enjoy the vibe and décor from this location it’s really appealing to the eye.
The staff is welcoming and willing to help the minute you walk through their door. So why did I give them 3 stars? It was the coffee, I ordered a large latte and the coffee tasted bitter and burnt. It was a tough cup of joe to swallow.
What I did fall in love with was the croissant, it was truly a well made croissant with a crispy she’ll and moist inside. I’m also willing to go back and try this locations ice tea.

Lovely place to sit and chat.
Latte is $ 3.85 + tax = $ 4.19
It will taste like coffee with poor in room temperature milk.
Customer service? They don’t know what that is.
You can tell by their face they hate the place.
Cashier: what do u want ?
Me: Small hot latte please.
Cashier: $ 4.19
Then she took my credit card, swipe it. Gave it back.
Don’t expect any service, cause there will be none.

I’m not sure what the other reviewers expect when they order a Nutella Latte, but for me, I think decadence. This drink is somewhat thick, but it’s Nutella… what do you expect? I actually enjoyed my drink. It’s also very sweet, which I think is expected when you’re using Nutella. Otherwise, this drink is mostly focused for customers who like overly sweet coffee/drinks. The coffee aspect is this drink is lacking and overpowered by the Nutella. I don’t think that’s necessarily a bad thing, but it is a matter of preference. Unfortunately, I do find this café to be very overpriced and I don’t see myself going out of my way to return to this bakery again.

They sell little delighters and wide selection of coffee. I enjoyed the pistachio macaroon. I would recommend trying it! We also got the Nutella latte. Oh boy was it sweet. We couldn’t order it any less sweet as it was a pre-made drink. It kind of tastes like a warm sweet hot chocolate.
It’s a cute and petite corner coffee spot. I would definitely try other coffee selections. Nice workers, too!

Yummm the vanilla chai latte with extra vanilla was great… that’s probably why i had three already… there’s outlets behind every seat and tables!!! how cool is that!
There are so many coffee/café/desserts shops in NYC… In some parts… you can find one on each block… I think this place great… It consistently serves good smoothies and tea of many varieties… and you have a nice selection of small dishes including salads… sandwiches…and desserts… Juices…soda…and various waters are available for purchase as well…
The staff are friendly and make you feel at home… and they have free wifi… All said and done… not a lot of coffee shops are like this!

I stopped at Koffeecake Corner since it was next to my hotel. I ordered the Nutella latte and Nutella milkshake for my husband. My husband liked his milkshake however my Nutella coffee was HORRIBLE! I ordered a small and drank the whole thing which was a huge mistake… I was sick to my stomach for the next few hours after drinking the latte. The latte was so sweet and thick, it felt and tasted like I was just drinking a jar of melted Nutella. You could barely taste the coffee or milk… just thick Nutella.
Do NOT recommend going to Koffeecake Corner.

Came here for a coffee and a dessert round 4pm one afternoon and there was no one ahead of me, yet it took about 15 mins to get a cup of coffee and a stale coffeecake. I was sad.

So definitely a good eye to catch this sweet spot! I had passes by the place so many times and finally had the chance to try it! And boy it was worth walking into the place. There was a lovely flourless Nutella pie and it was delightful! The flavors popped. I got a salted caramel hot chocolate though it was not my favorite I think it is just my taste because I am picky with caramel. But I think for caramel lovers it is quite tasty. My friend got the Nutella hot chocolate and it was amazing! The staff was super welcoming and they were such chill dudes it was awesome going to a place like this! The layout is pretty cool, chill, casual but stylish and I love the décor. I would come back for the other pastries and the Nutella!

Their coffee cake dessert is SO delicious. I also have enjoyed their breakfast sandwiches, smoothies, and coffee; all were delicious. The place is small but if you can grab a place to sit, it’s a nice place to do work. Great service and decently priced.

My friends and I ended up here because we needed a break from the cold. There were sparse but beautiful pastries including at least one gluten free option. My friend’s hot chocolate was reportedly, «killer». We rested at a tall table set up for 4. It was pretty crowded and almost all of the pastry options had just 1 or 2 left. I’m guessing this is a popular spot. The floor needed sweeping but we enjoyed our brief respite.

Fun little breakfast/bakery place with a diverse menu that includes milkshakes, caffeinated drinks, tea, breakfast sandwiches, baked goods and my fav the pancake bites. Went on a Sunday morning around 10, was easily able to achieve sea of. Ordered a apple berry tea, Nutella hot chocolate, classic breakfast sandwich (egg white, turkey bacon and cheese), and the pancake bites with banana and strawberry. My husband and I enjoyed every bite. Would stop by again if I had the chance.
