I’ve tried most of the places in the Gallary 32 Food Court and Kobeque has been consistently the best so far. This place is nearby my office so it’s also super convenient for lunch as it’s pretty quick and portions are large enough that I don’t leave hungry. I can’t really speak to the ambiance as it’s located in a Food Court but it’s definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area and want some good Korean BBQ. I also felt the prices were fair for the amount of food you are getting. This place is definitely going in my lunch rotation.

I haven’t been to the Food Gallery for a while because honestly the food there was always below average and I would rather pay the tip at a more decent Korean restaurant down the block. I came with a small group of friends today and was surprised by how much the food selections had changed, this stand being one of the new additions along with quite a few others. I went with the Pork Wrap, which was #8 on the menu. It costed $ 11.97(tax included). In the wrap was half a sheet of nori, rice, carrots, lettuce, burdock root, onions, pickled radish, and marinated pork belly slices. I topped mine off with cheese and hot sauce, along with a type of black sauce, which I would assume is probably some kind of sweet thick soy sauce or something similar. I was surprised when the guy behind the counter pulled out a butane torch and«tried» to melt the cheese with it. Honestly, I don’t think that additional step was necessary because it didn’t really fully melt the cheddar, and since most of the ingredients were not hot, the cheese didn’t continue to melt in the burrito either. For starters, the wrap you receive will look different from the image, but in a good way, because mine definitely had a lot more meat than I expected. I thought I would be seeing a wrap filled with vegetables and only a small fraction of meat. Instead, it was the opposite for me – there was a lot of pork belly. The taste of the burrito was also surprisingly delicious! I loved the pork marinade. It had a slight pork bulgogi flavor because it was sweet and savory. The raw red onions provided a nice crunch and spicy kick between bites, which I thought was interesting even though I’m not a fan of raw onions. One thing I would like to change is being able to choose what I want inside. I was wondering why they only asked me if i wanted cheese or hot sauce, but not the other toppings. I definitely would have loved to add corn or something else in it. There was also a side of tortilla chips and tomato salsa with the order. The chips and dip was alright, but the star of the show was definitely the wrap. I would say definitely try it if you enjoy Korilla or want to Korean fusion food, not just the straight-up regular Korean dishes.

Ambiance: it’s a food court can’t say much about that… Service: nice people however in my opinion the food took a little long from taking my order to order up for a food court restaurant… And it wasn’t even busy(disclaimer I might have been a little hangry at the time) Food: delicious and the portion was more than enough for me, do get yourself the bulgolgi rice platter it’s pretty good. I will say it is a little pricey as others have stated but if you were to go eat at a sit down in ktown you’ll be paying significantly more for relatively similar quality food

I’d raved about Kobeque previously, but I definitely won’t be back. The appeal of Kobeque is no longer. It used to be that you could choose your own toppings in your BBQ burrito. Now, they make that decision for you. Portions are still good, but I definitely did NOT want that cheese in my burrito. Ugh. Thanks for asking. I really wish they’d kept their offerings the way they had them before. PS. There is now a $ 12 credit card minimum.

Great little stand in the food court in K-Town. I got the spicy pork plate which came with white rice, a salad, and you can pick a few side dishes to go with your meat. The spicy pork had a good amount of lean/fat meat ratio that was great mixed with the sides I got on top of my meat and the rice. Food was very flavorful and not at all too spicy. The only downside is that Kobeque has a $ 12 minimum for credit card and considering most items are $ 9.99-$ 10.99, it’s a bit frustrating since you either have to pay for a friend, or order an extra just to make the minimum since the drinks are sold in the food court separately.

This place has EXCELLENT bbq pork starved with a variety of sides — rice, salad, noodles. Not to spicy for western palettes it is DELICIOUS!

There’s just one word. Amazing! They serve great quality barbeque at affordable prices with a quick and convenient process to get your food and be on your way! I’ve been coming everyday since their opening and have not experienced or even felt a hint of regret when ordering. They have outstanding customer service and are always welcoming to every customer, even proposing new combinations to those feeling adventurous to have their taste buds blown away. A great place! I just wish there were more stores out there like this.

Whenever I go to K-Town, I go to Food Gallery for the price and the variety of food it offers. However, I was always disappointed by the food that they serve. The quality is just not there. I’ve tried every corner in Food Gallery in the hope of finding one good place worth going to. However, when I went into Food Gallery this time, I noticed that there was a newcomer and wanted to give it a try. Kobeque has changed my view of Food Gallery. It screams quality at your face. The meat they use is very juicy and tasty. The owner apparently owns a real Korean BBQ restaurant called Biwon and uses the same meat. The salad that comes with it is top notch that I had to ask for another one after I finished one. The food came out in less than 3 minutes and contains plenty of meat unlike other cheap restaurants where they signify quality over quantity. Kobeque cares about both quality and quantity so you can be full and move on with your city life. It’s a steal for the price! They give you a lot of options to choose from that most people will find what they like on the menu. Just give it a try. I’m sure that you will not regret it. In fact, you will fall in love with Kobeque just like I did. I’m so glad that now I have a place to go eat every time I visit K-Town.

Best one in the food gallery hands down. Honestly all other food in the gallery is a shame to Korean foods in their quality, but I put up with it because of convenience and price. Kobeque is not only cheap for what you get, but also gives you quality meat and side dishes that you’d expect from a sit-down Korean barbeque place. The staff is amazing and friendly, food comes out pretty quickly, and there’s a ton of side dishes to choose from. I literally ate here every lunch ever since it opened LOL. Just try it, you will not ragret it.
