A good sized space in the ground floor of a fantastically full of galleries building. Wow that was poor english. I was not familiar with any of the artists displayed within, but all visually entertaining. This entire building is vital when visiting the Chelsea galleries. I’m sure I’ll stop in again.

Great space in a building jam packed with great spaces. This is what gallery hopping is all about. Friendly staff, great pieces by Stan Smokler, and the first of many floors of great art. Parking could be a bit more convenient, but otherwise I love the Chelsea galleries and would recommend the experience to anyone living in or visiting NYC.

The Kim Foster Gallery has a beautiful space to work with… and a key spot on the first floor of 529 W. 20th. I’ve been there a few times – the Jacques Roch show most recently… he’s taking a cartoonist approach to some of Manet’s compositions ~ seems typical of the unconventional artists that the gallery is targeting. They also had up a piece by Moon Beom… whom I’m currently loving… it would’ve been nice to see more than one of those. Anywho… three stars overall… a great space with potential, I just don’t think it’s being squeezed to its full magic though it is one of the highlights of this building(plum full of galleries). Their website — which is quite nice for a preview of what you’ll see: Open Tuesday through Saturday 11am to 6pm
