Ahh, my honesty may leak out here (pre-apologize).
I’m seldom a fan of the artwork here, but I still can’t give them any less than four stars. Why? Well– the art is usually good, just not my flavor. It”s like when you’re offered Ben & Jerry’s ice cream— you don’t decline just because you enjoy Haagen Daaz better. No no no. The shows are always interesting, have a good variety, and draw in a decent crowd at the openings (though it tends to be an «old» crowd). Friendly staff, too– willing to email pics to me of artist I was writing about– so all in all, I guess it’s me. Not you.

The James Woodruff exhibit from June 5^th-July 5^th was a very unique take on impressionism with a modern spin and I liked it a lot.
A nice space with great employees; this gallery has clearly moved around a bit judging from its multiple addresses.
Check it out at 529 W. 20^th but be prepared to pay a bit for parking.
