Stopped by this store for the first time based on Unilocal reviews. The staff seemed nice enough but hated the prices. Priced one hair item and ran for the hills!
Based on the price I was given this has got to be the most expensive hair store in NYC.

This is the place to come for inexpensive wigs. I’ve been shopping here since the 80’s! It’s up a flight of stairs and you’re discouraged from trying anything on and the prices do seem to be higher in the weeks before Halloween, but they have everything. You have to purchase a wig cap to try anything on and there is a limit to how many pieces you can look at before purchasing. Honestly, I’ve only gotten acrylic wigs for various costumes and I don’t know if they carry human hair wigs, but they do have bangs and brightly colored clip in shocks.

I must say that this is one of my favorite go-​to wig stores. They have a great selection and have unique wigs which is always what I’m looking for. However, the only negative thing I’d say is the service I get here every time I come in to shop. I feel like my time is ticking there, the sales associate is always watching over me as if I’m going to steal something and when I ask for assistance, it’s like I’m asking for a favor. Not the most pleasant feeling. Also I asked one of the workers the price of a wig & then when I was about to make my purchase the other worker tells me a different price (higher price of course) and that’s not the first time it happened, so unprofessional. But overall I really love the stuff they sell, I just wish they had a better customer service approach to their shoppers.

As a MUA, I go through so much faux lashes! They had a variety of lashes from subtle, to dramatic. My clients mean everything to me so I have to deliver! This place is my go-​to whenever I’m frolicking in the city. They also have cool hair accessories too! It’s a very very small place that’s located upstairs. Very hard to miss, almost like a hole in the wall. But I wouldn’t trade it for the world! The two Asian ladies that work there are so sweet!

As a professional hair & makeup artist, I go through a LOT of false lashes. My clients expect high quality stuff, and those cheap plastic drug store lashes will never do! A fellow MUA put me on to Kikko, where they stock an impressive selection of natural fiber (human hair) lashes in black and brown. Even bottom lashes! Get them by the dozen, it’s the best deal. Their selection of hair pieces is also impressive, & special shout to their glitter lashes for more theatrical work.
