Amazing service, great drinks made by the bartender Jairo. He can make you anything you like from scratch. Great local spot.

The service here is excellent. It’s small but the wonderful treatment makes up for it. The sangria is tasty. I look forward to returning.

Awesome little wine bar. The owner is super friendly and welcoming. This place has only been open about a year. It’s cozy and has a hipster feel to it. Definitely an unexpected find on 177th and walking distance from New York Presbyterian! The sangria was delish! Happy Hour consist of $ 5 sangrias and $ 2 beers. Pitchers will run you $ 25 but worth every penny. The empanadas are a must try! Sooooo yummm! I will definitely be coming back. Try to arrive early if you have a large group. They have a couch in the back =)

Love it here. Be careful with the sangria it is delicious but lethal! Juan and Jose are amazing and sweet bartenders and the flatbreads are delicious. Great place to go if you just want to unwind and not be in a crazy environment and I drive from upstate to come here!

Love this place. They’re very kind, the sangria is good, appetizers are different for the neighborhood and delicious and every Wednesday is extended Gay Happy Hour.

A hidden gem in Washington heights, right on the border of inwood by the GW bus station. The food is delicious, especially considering it is all cold or cooked in a convection oven. Surprisingly versatile wine selection, and their happy hour prices are excellent! The staff is attentive and friendly, and they remember your name and what you like to drink. Definitely one of my favorite post work spots!

The atmosphere was really nice. Light bulbs hanging from ceiling give it a downtown feel. Our drinks were absolutely delicious. Really loving the flavored and fresh fruits/mint added. Service was slow. it took about 16 minutes for our drinks to arrive. That may be the vibe of the place though. overall I will be back!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place! I’ve always wanted to check Kazza out since its inception and I finally did. It’s such a small place but that’s what makes me love it the most. It’s never packed and the staff is always attentive– especially the bartender, she is super nice and efficient. The drinks are really good and affordable– they’re usually priced under $ 10. I tried the red and white sangria and they were both delicious. The music is always great and the vibes are even better. This is the type of place you can come to and have a few drinks and be surrounded by good company. P. S. They don’t have hookah but it shouldn’t be a deal breaker if you’re not really a fan of it.

Kazza has pretty much become the go-to bar for my friends and me after a long week of classes and work. Great drinks, great prices(especially during happy hour), and everyone who works there is so nice. It’s safe to say that we’re going to be regulars.

They say you can’t buy happiness… but you can buy wine, and well that’s kinda the same thing. Thank you Kazza for making happiness so readily available to me! This is a great addition to the neighborhood. It’s very cozy with one large couch in the back, a couple of bar tables, and seating along the bar. Despite it’s intimate environment, they have a wide range of options of wines, beers, sangrias, and small bites including flatbreads and tapas, which they make in a small oven by the bar. I can’t knock the size of the oven though, because their bites pack some serious flavor. My personal favorite is the mushroom empanada. The vibe and crowd are super chill, and staff incredibly friendly. On the weekends they even manage to have a live DJ that typically comes in around 10pm. Kazza is the go-to spot in the neighborhood for some good vibes and quality wine.

Kazza serves some of the best sangrias in the neighborhood. They have a good variety on wine and sangrias on the menu that do not disappoint. The glasses are large and if you are sitting at the bar you are served some kind of nuts/chex mix to munch on while you are drinking. I would not suggest coming here with too many people. It’s really small. My first visit was cut short because I had to stand. There’s about 6 seats at the bar, and a small seating area in the back that I can’t imagine more than 8 people being in. Otherwise Kazza is all good.

Not surprised this place is so well loved on Unilocal; I’ve yet to walk by it without spotting a few regulars at the bar or at the tables. Prices are very reasonable, with wines tiered at «good,» «better» and«best»(thus letting you get as fancy as you please). Definitely go in on a plate to share, but know that you’re not coming here for a full meal. But none of that is what really makes this place special. We live down the street so we come here often. Took a friend one night for sangria and bites(I had a powerful Russian imperial stout, since I was surprised to see it on the menu). We ended up camping there till about 1AM, talking to the waitress and another local about the differences between Beyonce and Rihanna. So, clearly, it’s everything a neighborhood bar should be. Judging from the crowd most nights, the neighborhood thinks so too. Get cozy and get acquainted.

Kazza is the only place I want to be when hanging in my hood. I love the atmosphere, the vibes, the music(via DJ or Live), and the people. The staff are absolutely lovely! The red sangria is addictive and the bites are delicious! The happy hour gives twice the fun! A visit to this place will not disappoint whether you are there to chat it up with friends, socialize, or sit in solicitude to contemplate life… What are you waiting for? Go!

Great Sangria, great snacks and a very cozy atmosphere! And prices just as they should be! We ordered a pitcher of Sangria for two each of us got 3 very big glasses out of it for $ 25 total. So for those who happen to be in Washington Heights, it’s a must.

This cute, teensy(just 273 square feet, according to the extremely friendly manager!) little wine bar opened up 2 months ago and is a wonderful addition to the neighborhood. There’s wine priced from ~$ 30/bottle to ~$ 60/bottle, a couple beers on tap, and some nice looking cocktails. We stuck with the awesome white sangria, $ 24 for a huge, strong, pitcher. There’s no kitchen, but a massive industrial toaster oven-ish thing in the corner of the bar cranking out tasty flatbreads and other small bites. We tried the dates, goat cheese, and bacon flatbread and thought it was quite a tasty drinking snack. The complimentary little cup of snack mix was the best I’ve ever had… wasabi peas, honey roasted nuts, etc. The crowd is very local and it seems like a great place to meet people, in part because it’s so teeny that you really have no choice. We will definitely be back!

Kazza is a great addition to our neighborhood. This wine bar is casual, cozy, friendly and just hip enough to keep us, as locals, from going downtown. Looking in from outside through the giant picture window, the place looks cute but cramped, but when you step inside it’s considerably larger. The bar itself seats about eight people comfortably. There are about five small tables in the back if you’re not a bar-sitter. The décor is warm and comfortable with the perfect touch of, «I wish my apartment looked like this.» Kazza features signature wine and beer cocktails as well as sangria. I am not a sangria or wine cocktail guy, but on this warm spring evening, I decided to give each a try. I was surprised how good they were – refreshing, nicely balanced and not too sweet. We had a couple of flatbreads and empanadas from the small food menu. Both were savory and delicious but needed some minor tweaks, but, hey, the place has been open for less than a week. I give them points for asking for feedback which we shared. Let’s see how the snacks are in a month. Aaron, Connor and Jasmine were great hosts – service was awesome, attentive and entertaining. Co-owner Manny, was gracious and welcoming. Kazza is definitely going to be a regular spot to hang. We’ll be back and – we’re bringing friends.
