With the return of the manager, Joseph (maybe Yusef?), Kazuza is back in top form. The flooring has been redone, the service and hookah are back up to their old standards. I’m happy to say that I’ll be frequenting Kazuza again.

The hookah bar was nothing special if you asked me on the street. The price was decent. Not to expensive and not cheap.

Yas!!! I enjoyed this place, I was having dinner at Yuca Bar and we decided to stop in here and have a drink, the outside of this place caught my attention.
I really loved how small and low lit it was. Very intimate setting. The drinks were so strong and good. The music was my fav part. I am Colombian and they played Colombian cumbia and Indian music. Crazy and great.
I didn’t get to try the hookah but I will be back!!!

If I could give this place a negative 5 stars I would have. I have been smoking shisha for years and this is by far the worst place I’ve visited. The waiters took way too long to service my table, the hookah is harsh and hurt my throat. Moreover, the food was not that great. The positive thing about the place is the scenery. Will not be coming back here again.

Do not go here!!! Service is terrible, hookah is terrible. We had to constantly ask the waiter to change our hookah because it was harsh at all times. I would definitely not recommend this place. I’d say the only good things was their chicken wings because they were fried to perfection but that was it.

The guy at the door will ask you how many people are in your party, and then make you stand outside until he can get the attention of the hostess to take you to your table. The music is good, the shisha is pretty good quality as well (mix the cappuccino shisha with milk… you’ll thank me later). The service is a little slow if they have a full house, but they’re friendly enough to make up for it. The belly dancer comes out for about 10 minutes and then disappears into the streets of NYC and off to her next shisha bar performance.
I liked it. I’d do it again.

I called to reserve about half hour before I was heading there. Upon heading there I told them I reserved and they sat me in some small table for two and added an extra seat as we had three. Meanwhile there were like two or three booths open, one that said reserved and one that was completely open. I asked can we be moved and they said they were reserved. The whole time we were there neither of the two spots were claimed and we had to try and share a small area. The food wasn’t bad and the hookah prices were decent ($ 20). There was a belly dancer as it was a Saturday night so that was a plus.

The drinks were great and inexpensive I had the tropical breeze and the sex on the beach. I wasn’t too hungry so I shared the lamb khabab with my friend it was a good portion size for the price

Loved the place I took my gf here for one of here bday stops while we visited NYC and we went back everyday and that was for the hookah. The hookah was super flavorful and they keep the coals fresh as well which helped the hookah from not burning out quickly.
Now here’s the hidden gem about this place. I was unaware or how great their food is. We ordered buffalo wings and calamari, and man were we surprised. The food was well seasoned and tasted fresh. The buffalo wings particularly had great flavoring and the size of each piece was huge. We’ve already planned our next NYC trip with this pale being a staple!!!
The only reason that this place doesn’t get a full 5er is because of the DJ he wasn’t that great all 3 night ps we were there. Needs better music

I heard about this place from an acquaintance that «knows» about hookah. Unfortunately while they did have a relatively good selection, the ambiance was more of a club than of a relaxing hookah café. My friend and I had to wait outside the door for a clear 15 minutes until the bouncer signaled to someone to let us in. This is absolutely ridiculous in NYC on a cold night. The second you walk in, you get blasted with loud electronic ethnic music. I couldn’t even hear myself think. It was crowded forcing you to carefully navigate hot coals and people.
Usually one can smoke hookah for 1 – 2 hours. However after 15 minutes of this absolute torture, I cut my losses and left asap. If you want to relax and find a nice place to smoke, this is not it.

This place is strictly hookah and drinks and nothing else. Tiny place with no room to move and the belly dancers don’t come in till midnight cuz otherwise it’s not worth it.

I came across this hookah bar on Unilocal.Right when we walked in we were prompted to take a table and the waitress’s attention was great. Had some awesome Egyptian and Moroccan tea. The hookah was spot on and it was a great environment just to sit and chill. Next time I am in need of a fix — lol we will be back!

Decent hookah bar in NYC that I stopped in at on my last trip there. The seating options can be a little funny if you have a small party (2 or 3 people). They do serve food, drinks, beverages and more. The hookah quality was just okay, although they did come by to change the coals often. The wait staff is attentive. The atmosphere is dark and they play good music. I didn’t try the food but I did try the Turkish coffee which was very strong. It is conveniently located close to tons of bars and restaurants.

4 stars for the Hookah; ordered the Passion Fruit ($ 20) with fresh Pineapple ($ 5). Yum!
The «Buffalo Wings» (notice the ««)…definitely not buffalo, but OK chicken.
The music was jumpin, the place was packed, and the drinks were flowing (not that I can vouch for how good they are, we were recovering from the previous spot we were at).
The place smells like Ass and Musk, but my hookah helped to cover up the stench lol BUT it was 2 AM, so, I guess that smell might be normal after a night on the town.

I came here with a friend tonight, because we were craving Hookah.
The hookah was strong, maybe even too strong? We got plum flavor with wine.
The service wasn’t bad or awesome. There was a beetle on the couch.
I probably wouldn’t return unless I had a strong craving for hookah again, which isn’t likely.

This place is great to hang out with friends. The hookah prices are $ 15-​$ 20 depending on what you choose (regular or fresh fruit). It’s usually relatively packed but both times we were seated pretty quickly. Towards the end of the night, there is a bellydancer who performs for 10 minutes or so, which is fun and memorable. I definitely would recommend this place if you’re into hookah.

Good price but the service sucks!
I came here with my two friends and it took us about 10 minutes to put our orders in. Then the food all came at different times!
Avoid this hole in the wall if possible!
I ordered shrimp cocktail and the waitress brought shrimp with no cocktail sauce.
I asked her where the sauce was and she said «Oh you have to order it on the side». LOL OMG. I guess there’s a first for everything lol… She bought it out eventually, after I asked another employee of it was still coming out.
