My former company(based in FL) had what they equated to be a luxury party here. One thing to note. If you’re going to do luxury, really do it. This place simply tried too hard to go haute and ended up haughty. The food was mediocre. I had lobster over butternut squash ravioli. Nothing special. I think a microwave was involved. Unfortunately, I don’t care to be involved again. Huge disappointment after the company’s new president and Rye, New Yorker made such a fuss. This little girl from NC would have been a lot more inspired elsewhere. In your attempt to prove to the world that as a New Yorker, you«know» food, try picking a restaurant that demonstrates that, not some second rate want-to-be restaurant in a town where great chefs are kings.
